I've always thought that there should be a martial art for a man and woman working together as a team to defeat both a single or multiple attackers. The key is playing to each other's strengths and allowing each individual to amplify the other. The woman is flexible and can do acrobatic jumps, but even more so if the man throws her. The man is powerful, but he has a secondary weapon if he can launch a highly trained human with a knife or sword over your head so that she lands behind you. Then what you gonna do? This sort of martial art would rely on the fact that your entire focus must at all times be on the powerful male because he can end you quickly, but the smaller, more flexible female can dart around in an unpredictable manner and get you from the flank or wherever it is you are vulnerable.
YES!!! I am THRILLED that they have a spotter for this sport, and that men are 'CHEERING'. Long ago, boys, and men were teased for being apart of the cheerleaders. This SPORT takes, strength, determination, dedication, and is 100% a blast to watch! I'm proud of these athletes! Fantastic work, you three.
It's not just about "trust". It's about ability. That dude needs to not just be strong but completely and utterly muscle trained and toned. The twists, flips, balances put enormous torsion strains on basically all his muscles, including hers, so not everyone is capable of that. Truly impressive.

My take away... how the 2 men in this are watching her and making sure she is safe! The "spotter" does not take his eyes off her and you can see how he has her back. This is amazing and she is fearless. But It just shows what humans are capable of when they work together and look out for one another ❤️❤️
The men are watching her making sure she's safe? I thought I've seen 2 athletes, but apparently it's just one and the boys are watching nothing more...
@@Aeris_Asano yeah you're right - but I caught in-between the intentional 'dance' smile, and her genuine joyful smile. You can tell when it's excitement bc she landed and when it is smiling for show. I think we'd all be smiling like her though if we landed those awesome moves. :D
one of the best things about this is the friendships a person develops while perfecting these moves. it takes so much time and undivided attention to each other. 😀😀😀💓💞❤️
I'm a pretty big strong dude like him but I'd be too afraid I'd mess up and drop her. She has to be fearless and I think he was probably just as nervous as I was watching it.
Very impressive. These cheerleaders are so friggin talented its crazy. And that smile she has at every hit is so infectious. U can't do nothing but smile watching it. Awesome peeps!
Dude I love the way that in these type of sports, you can really see the muscles of the athletes work. Like, near to the end, the way her core muscles were contracting just really shows how much work and preparation goes into performances like this.

I’m glad she walked off and allowed him to have his moment at the end. A lot of the time we look at the girls flying through the air and not at the ones giving them wings. They both are incredible. ♥️
Only people who are close-minded can't see when everyone is involved in making something work. It's the same situation when some people can't see that the little guy makes billion dollar companies run and not the CEOs.
Her smile and demeanor is infectiously encouraging. Her sense of balance, center of gravity is incredible. The guys are obviously strong and very attuned to her well being. What a champion team performance!

I love watching cheer! I miss doing it, but still love watching others! Cheer has come a long way since I was a cheerleader in the 90s and early 2000s 🎉
That was my favorite part. He assisted her movement just enough for the transition. You could see the relief and elation in her smile when they nailed it. It seems like they even worked in an extra beat to the routine there, to ensure that she had no light headedness, before making the next move. I think that it was the move that would have been the most visible for the flyer's part.

It’s comparing (he just holding it, it’s her putting strength) with (I’m not carrying the weight of the bag, it’s the bag carrying the weight even tho the main support is you) plus he need full muscle control to be stable as possible and also follow her to help her balance..
@@iG4njahMx_452 I mean, yes the dude is obviously very strong and can clearly carry/lift/throw her around HOWEVER you CANNOT compare lifting a strong person who knows how to balance themselves and who is in control of their muscles with dead weight.....dead weight is absolutely heavier. The three of them work and perform with enthuasiasm. The strength, the skill and cooperation they showed while doing the stunts Bravo it was done perfectly

he's the spotter.. always there to catch if something goes wrong. also looks as if he is calling timing on the moves... and he's her main cheering section.. possibly coach.
The care of the two guys made my day (my heart melted) and the girl is awesome! This is a collaboration at its best!! Male and female working together as a team that has the standard we are all craving for. ❤️
Yes, like many other comments have said, the skill of the athletes and the level of trust is really impressive. But what I especially love about this particular performance is that this cheerleader is really delivering SPIRIT through the entire thing with her smile and connection to the audience the whole entire time - she never loses her connection to the audience for one moment - she even keeps cheering and smiling as she is transitioning from one position to another. And that makes things performance really special. Yes, the guys are amazing, too, of course! But the connection and spirit that she is able to deliver all the way through is truly remarkable. Love this! ❤️
@@John-it2db no need to gender things. Showman, like all other words of that type, refer to mankind, humanity, etc. People, not a specific sex. Showman means a person who performs; you're gendering it to be showwoman, a woman who performs. This limits the comparison to a smaller subset, and by implication reduces how impressive she is, seeing as she had to be compared to only women and not all people.
I love watching these amazing cheerleaders! My granddaughter cheered for Carbon high school and for Utah State University. They took fifth place at nationals. I am the proudest grandma!!
