Not just T6, but fighting games had such creative, unique secondary modes. Tekken force/Devil Within, Tekken Ball mode, MK had Motor Kombat, MK Chess, Puzzle Combat etc, but now fighting games are just overly competitive and not many people even care about those modes sadly. Even simple game modes like Team Battle were nice additions
Still have PTSD from that train. I beat it, only once, with default Xiaoyu, no clothing boosts. For context, I didn’t realize clothing could give you stat boosts.
Tekken 6 wasn't my most favorite but Scenario Campaign was quite fun (even if the story was beyond dumb lol). It felt like an upgraded Tekken Force Mode since it was all in 3D and even though parts of it were wonky, it was still pretty fun and it's a shame they didn't bring it back. Hopefully something like it returns in Tekken 8.

The nostalgia... Hope Scenario mode/Tekken Force will be available in 8. Definitely has potential to function like Streets of Rage without being a carbon copy imo
When you put the gameplay outside of its normal context, it looks pretty funny to see a high school girl and her android juggling with a spanish brawler.
SAMEE i was so shocked and confused when i saw cutscenes from Tekken 6 story mode in the wiki because I swear there was no story mode on PSP so i thought people were making it up 💀💀
Growing up with T6 PSP as well back then, always confused which is the canon ending to T6, until just a decade later... I found the PS3 version of T6...
Back then, ppl were saying, this is was the worst possible mode, that Tekken Project even created. Cuz it was Tekken Force, and Story Mode in one. Especially canon story was about Lars, and no one else. Especially knowing that Lars is Mishima, and story goes around Mishima by logic, ppl were still complaining. And now, due to their complainings in the past, this one are now considering one of the best modes ever created by community. Ppl's mind are known to change in one way, or the other. Why would they complain over nothing in the past, only to say it was best mode ever? I would never understand it. However, Tekken 6 known to have the best customization mode in any Tekken games. Thus Tekken 6 was a great game for a reason.
I remember Tekken 6 as the game where I had to download a patch just to beat the final boss (who otherwise had a one-hit kill move on easy mode). Still, this beat 'em up mode was a huge improvement from Tekken Force. It let you use costume parts to upgrade your character's stats, which was cool.
I still have my PS3 for this game. I'm sure they'll eventually make another Tekken force game but for now, nothing is better then beating up random baddies with my favorite Tekken character
(Me 30yo): these yungins love this scenario mode but don't even realize the best one was the devil within on tekken 5 😅 Ps this one was good af tho I got all 1000 gamerscore on it
When Guest characters were added in Tekken 7. I thought they were gonna bring this with their flavor yet I think Tekken 8 is gonna do that. Thanks though I'll be playing this where I'm enlisted Internet is an issue😅
I miss scenario campaign altogether, this mode was overhated and it was so much fun. I got used to the game after a few battles! I just wish you can change alisa to someone else.
They basically took Tekken Force mode from T 3 & 4 also Devil within from T5 & made it the main mode in Tekken 6. I loved Tekken Force mode mainly in 4 its almost underrated taking what ever character you wanted to see how far you could get as a kid. I remember as a Teenager 6’s story mode making me punch the wall a few times. I finished it but was fed up by the time I did

Was so amazing, i get tekken 6 to my xbox one recently and i did all the story mode again, it was so good, i will forever miss this. So sad that the tekken 6 story was amazing and perfect to a sequel and tekken 7 was the WORST STORY MODE EVER
Tekken 6 is the worst mainline game in the franchise in my opinion. Scenario Campaign mode is a good concept for a next gen Tekken Force Mode, but i think making it the story mode was a horrible idea and just make the game much worst than we got. I fine with getting this mode back but as a side mode not as the main mode.
You talking like this mode was only for the main story characters (Lars and Alisa) But in reality you could play any character, the story would play the same. If your story mode is just cinematics and the same gameplay as arcade battles then I'm sorry but that's not as fun as Tekken Force.
I was quite late to Tekken 6. I picked it up in the summer of 2016 while we were waiting for Tekken 7 to come out. Good memories of the game all around.
