Correct! She just loves to hear her voice!!! Give no one 2 minutes to speak on a point. I think she believes she is too smart and yes she was just ranting and answering her own questions and conclusions! I skipped this interview a lot when she was ranting!!!
Yep plus let me add that these people on this panel and gen Z should read more - A critically missing piece in their cohort and it shows from how they answer and perceive things
Ladies, I am Haitian. I'm currently living in United States. Austin is describing a reality that exists in United States. Nice guys finish last. It is true here.
What does it mean to finish last? Many here in US are not married whether naughty or nice. But both nice and naughty guys can have good jobs that make good money.
She's way too Americanized to be a real Ghanaian, very annoying talks too much and wants to be the center of attention, who in the fucken right mind would want to deal with her ass, I feel sorry for her boyfriend
Whoever that chick is off camera literally talked the whole time! She the type that ask you a question and then answer the question for you. She 35 and I bet she single! The other two girls were more my vibe. Especially the Jamaican one!
How do you know that. As west African myself, I am sure her parents are the type that family matters in terms of what man to marrying. It’s a culture thing you won’t understand. The lady off camera is stating facts that you don’t want to hear, period.
Folks are forgetting that Auston is 24, that's what young dudes do at that age, they date and gain experience until they feel it's times to settle down, women do the same thing at that age and probably more, it shouldn't be looked on as negative
Depends where they come from. In Africa it's generally not that way. They usually have a steady gf or bf with whom they will get married. Cultures are different t
Nah, Austin actually dresses well and mature for a 24yr old honestly. Most of these 24yr olds be sagging and stuff. Even in Africa. And i beg to differ the point the lady made about "you too cleaned up, that's y man approach u. Or u look too euro-centric" Like Nah B! You get plenty of cleaned up dudes in Eastern and Southern Africa and that doesn't have anything to do with gayness or whatever. They just clean and know how to dress well... I know plenty of Nigerian guys who have they swag on point too and r very masculine. Can't speak of Ghanaian dudes coz i don't know. So that reason is invalid really....
Bro only in the states you hear nonsense like this. In many places by the time you are 15 years old you act and are treated like a grown, and behave like a grown man.
@@africaine4889 No. There are plenty of educated women in the world who will tell you their top priority in life is to get married and start a family. The lost value system these women have adopted is from the west where they spent most their adult life. Look at how its working in the west and anywhere that adopts it... women are increasingly MISERABLE. READ "PARADOX OF DECLINING FEMALE HAPPINESS". Educate yourself.
The woman in the blue talks a lot. She reminds me of the strong independent women here in the states. I bet she has more degrees than a thermometer and no man.

Hes only opinionated when he's alone in front of the camera, Auston doesn't gaf about the culture of these countries. He just want s to make content and make money off RU-vid. His communication stills is lacking 😂😂😂.. I'm starting to think he's an introvert as well
The good interviewer wouldnt let Wendy dominate the conversation. A good interviewer interrupts appropriately and directs the interview equally. And she doesnt show her face!!!

Don’t know about the colourisim in Ghana thing so much… Beautiful dark skin women are the bomb … I m dark skinned and and love black women period whether light or dark…
I'm American, and Brotha man looks 🌈, no 🧢. That's just how it is here. But the American born Ghanaian Sista talks like a typical Black American woman she criticized. And I guarantee she swirls.
If you want a wife avoid west Africa, go to east Africa, they are more beautiful and feminine. West African women have manly features (chin and jaw ) they have strong wide jaws compared to East African women who have cute small faces
The lady off camera did horrible public relations for Ghana. Defensive, Projection and Cultural Justifications to move away from your from lived experiences. Sister in white was more balanced and took the position of a visitor. Great conversation!
I have no idea what everyone is talking about when they talk about Dallas (I stay in the Frisco area). The money is great here, I'm an I.T. Project Manager. I stay in a gated community and my neighbors are black everyone is very friendly. It's really your surroundings
i live in dallas and wendy is not wife material she is a dam feminsit she is a know it all and selfish she did'nt give the other women time to really talk then she hide her face from the camera
OMG, this is what ive been saying for years. 7:53 Pretty is Pretty Period. I try not to express myself because I am of a lighter complexion. And I def. agree with colorism. But, if I tell you Natural Beauty TRUMPS everything. Even a flawless complexion TRUMPS everything. Its certain skin tones from the Darkest to the lightest. That is so exotic flawless creamy , its something that some people have to their skin tone. That their so beautiful if you look at them once and leave , if someone were to ask you was that person light skin or darkskin YOu cant even remember. Cause their beauty just takes over. PURE BEAUTY TRUMPS EVERYTHING
Lies. I've been in rooms where there are beautiful women who are dark skin and have brains as well as light skin women that are beautiful and have brains. But they're always are a bunch of light skin girls that are not even dimes and have no brains that are there simply because their lights again. They are in the room of elite black women and they don't belong there but they're there simply because of their light. Skinness.
True to an extent. At least in America, Colorism has levels. Unfortunately I have met some black men who have convinced themselves that being dark (on a woman) is ugly no matter what she looks like. That's why you might hear beautiful chocolate sisters (myself included 😋) say that these men told them they were "pretty to be dark skinned." Sad but true Unfortunately.

In terms of being friendly or warm, I think they all generalize entirely too much. If you have a certain type of interaction with a few people in one place, you cannot say that everyone in an ENTIRE COUNTRY is the same way. I’ve lived in neighborhoods in the same city in the north eastern US and people were not very friendly. Then I moved to another neighborhood 10 minutes away and everyone is friendly. When I moved to the south east of the US, everyone was so friendly. When I went to San Francisco, no one was friendly in the neighborhoods I was in. This is all in one country. It depends on where you are. Sometimes even just a few blocks away can make a huge difference. You cannot say that everyone in one country is exactly the same. There are over 300 million people in the United States. It’s IMPOSSIBLE for us to all be the same! He also generalizes about ALL WOMEN in the US. At least half of that 300+ million population in the US are women. The things he says about women in the US are based on his limited experiences with women in the few places he’s been. His experiences do NOT apply to all 150+ million females all over the ENTIRE United States! He just had certain types of experiences he didn’t like. Everyone in the US are not all having the same experiences he’s having.
Good point just so you know most generalizations are made based on 10% experience..that's usually what highly utilized data pulls from...obviously this guest group have not interacted with 10% of the American or Ghanaian populations
I'm a 44 year old man and he didn't say all.. yes he generalized, but any intelligent person knows he isn't talking about all women 🙄 in my experience, he is absolutely right about 70% though! And I not only applaud him but I encourage other young men to travel outside the United States.. because there is a big culture difference.. passport men exist for a reason.. and how many bad experiences does a person have to endure before they try something different 🤔 if it don't apply, let it fly.. even Wendy agreed with him as a woman 👩🏾
Nothing wrong with this brother Austin having his opinion and speaking on his experience. He has a lot to learn as we all do. I like Wendy's perspective but the host did not interject enough for there to be a balanced exchange and a bit of Wendy's perspective came off as defensive and preachy even if it was also educational. I appreciate this overall. I'd like to meet Wendy when I visit. She's intelligent and knows whats up there.
exactly she has that western feminist mentality and she wanted to hide her dam face she got a lot of secrets in her closet this women is clearly westernize

Because my brother saw the value in her!
My honest opinion on colorism is that dark skin is the most polarizing of any complexion. If a woman has a beautiful structure with smooth dark skin, she is the very top of the beauty spectrum; however, if a person's structure is unappealing, dark skin seems to highlight how unappealing that person is to the masses.
@@conroymckenzie9938WoW it's too much, everything must have a balance. Wendy you tell her she would likely say someone is jealous of outspokeness , ignorant or push her personality down , Austin will leave that date with a headache.
The laws are different in Ghana . In American, the laws favoured women and children. In America, if you approach a woman or give compliments, she report you for sexual harassment and you can be arrested or jailed. You just can't approach a woman in the States. In Ghana, approaching a woman or giving compliments is not a crime. In USA, you have to be careful. This is the reason why most guys in the States hesitate to approach a woman. The women in USA knows the law is on their side and they take advantage it.
I guess you missed the part of the conversation where the lady off camera spoke about sexual harassment of women on the job in Ghana. Just because their laws still allow some men (especially those in power) to be abusive doesn't mean it's ok. Women all over the world love compliments when they're respectful and not crossing the line. If you as a man are a decent, respectful human being, you'll have no problems so maybe you should evaluate your behavior. Respectfully.
Conflicting opinions of men in the states, I have listened to African American women saying that men in the states are very forward & far more aggressive than in Europe for example.
Auston is the 'man' and that's why I am one of his subscribers! He's confident and has all the right answers. Women like Wendy is the reason Auston had to leave the United States. She said that Auston looks gay because of his button-down shirt. She is narrow-minded, judgmental, and talks way too much!!! I think the host did a poor job moderating. He allowed Wendy to hi-jack the conversation. Now I understand why she didn't want to get on camera. Oh, I must add, Lala, the Jamaican, is fire 🔥🔥
@@jidec3165I won't say it was an ambush. Its.a conversation and each person was giving their opinion. Even tho that hidden woman monopolized the convo
It’s amazing😂. And they don’t even know it. The females is saying the exact same thing that Austin said when it comes to dating Ghanaian women 🤣. They don’t even know that they are saying what he said.
Auston is right, I don't know where it started from and idk if its a cultural thing with African American women and to some extent west african women. They all believe they are owed something or that a man needs to provide valuables for them to be worth their time to date. This is why so many Black American men date outside their race, a lot of women of other cultures don't expect a "range rover" and rent to be paid from their man. This is also why Auston says he likes women who can actually talk about stuff with him. When you can actually hold a conversation with a man it tells you that they have genuine interest in you as a person and not just what you can offer them. Its almost like African American women prefer anti-intellectualism, they want a man who can spoil them and is rough around the edges but those are the kinds of men who sell drugs, scam and cheat. If you brought a guy in front of them that isn't famous, has no clout and is just a regular guy who makes an honest living and makes decent money, they aren't interested. These same men that sell drugs, scam, partake in gang activity, cheat will then knock these women up and they end up a single mother, they then become bitter against men and teach their kids to be the same way, Its a vicious cycle and it all ends when women treat themselves with respect and choose to date men with character and morals. If women just chose to date the hardworking black men in our communities, African American men wouldn't grow up thinking its cool to sell drugs and cheat.
In general outside of sex when yu really think about it as a man what are you really getting to make you want to chase or pursue a woman? Women get free dates gifts sex child support alimony and all of the above and men only get sex.
When dudes say this, it usually means that they lack social skills. I've dated AA's and West African women. The one thing that they all seem to want is to be talked to smooth. Or as these women put it, to feel like they're being pursued. Some of you dudes need to simply go listen to some 90's R&B and pick up some game. Or maybe listen to a couple of Too Short or Eightball & MJG albums. Women want what you have to offer and if you don't even have decent conversation then of course they're going to go straight to the money.
Not true other women need to be taken care of especially outside of America where many donot work and cultural men financially support foreign women..Black men in America claims black Americans women behave as if men arenot needed, they can be too independent.
@@TheChariot99Wow if that's true about Ghanians women that's terrible and .materalistic, many America women arenot waiting for a man to buy them anything many women can buy their own things although a willing man would be appreciated by some women.
West African ladies are a vibe…they are highly cultured, highly educated, highly family orientated, some religious…lol…I know austin is going to find this difficult. Wether a Ghanaian, Nigerian or Senegalese lady lived abroad, we are still traditional because of the culture at home. Our mothers are strong and our fathers are doubly over protective. Yet again, austin needs to know the culture …it’s not about jumping into bed with a woman.
Ima keep it 💯 East African ladies are way more traditional feminine and family oriented. I’ve been all over nigeria ghana Cameron and Uganda kenya Tanzania Rwanda the women make better wives. West African women tend to be more loud or agreessive. My gf is Nigerian btw I have love for west africa in general but wife wise East African women got them beat by a mile.

Wendy did make a few valid points but cutting people off, and presenting your opinion as gospel is actually the opposite of strength and intelligence in my view. I think Hayford could have done a better job at ensuring we heard equally from everyone on the 'panel'
Very interesting interview and a great point of view, but these are very "personal experiences" rather than actual facts for either side - Ghana or the USA. I wish we could see our mature, wise woman who was hiding because she said a lot of good things that apply to all cultures.

This is a salient discourse because we need to comprehend the culture of dating in Ghana and other cultures. It was good to hear the women's and Alson's perspectives. However- Wendy dominated the entire conversion which was immensely egregious. I was intrigued by the Jamaican's and Sudanese's point of views. To hear the women elucidate that Alton's his dress/ countenance was percieved as " feminine or gay" was insightful from a Ghanaian cultural point of view. Yet- it was off putting because it shows one expression of masculinity and sexuality. In my opinion, African women date to marry. However- Alston seem to be dating to explore his options; not to marry. What I am afriad for Alston is that is image as a travel bro may adversely affect his brand. Lastly- the interviewer/moderator should have taken over the conversation as Wendy dominated the entire conversation.
This was a good conversation, all the ladies made valid points. Wendy seems like she was trying to impress the others with her knowledge, she hardly give the other guests a chance to speak. If she was single I bet Austin wouldn't date her. She's too overpowering and way too Americanized. He would do better with Lala or Marlo. African men are very confident whereas most American men are too much in their feelings. They want the women to court them instead of the other way around. This needs a round two minus Wendy.
He needed more balance. The women off the camera is dominanting the conversation. Also, they need to bring a Ghanaian 🇬🇭 women into the conversation to explain what they do and why... instead of these 3 Americanized women transposing what they believe is the reason behind why Ghanaian women do what they do or feel how they feel.
The chick who is not on camera is as American as it gets. She thought she was putting in work during this conversation and the only she did was prove his point masculine asf. Auston was being nice when he rated the interaction as an 8 but if were being honest it was a 2. A conversation is when there is a dialogue between two or more people going back and fourth ,she was talking 80% percent. I don't think what she was saying was bad she's just the same type of girl you would find in the States. I respect Austin for being chill they definitely had him cornered in this interaction. This is why i like austons channel he lets you know the real so you don't waste your time with women from certain regions. I'm not saying all Ghana woman are bad because i am friends with some in the states just not what most passport bros want in a woman.
Lala is a good balance, and Wendy is very wise. Auston still has lots of growing up to do. The Sudanese girl didnt add anything to the conversation. The end. Overall, good conversation.
the first speaker is very good. there is a poverty mindset. The crazy part is he said she went way too deep, but she is uncovering the truth and trying to explain the reason for peoples behavior. Culture is very apart of it like she said.
