I've watched you move from your original apartment where Rev was brought home too. Had the washer/dryer in the bedroom. I'm so happy you guys have your farm and forever home. Being close to both parents is a extra bonus.
Where did you buy the woven brown and white baskets ? (shown in the play room at 4:45 ) I love the idea, how it looks and I'd like to do the same thing on a shelf for my friend's kid's toys. They're getting more into open ended toys/ play. ☺

For the white ikea cabinet, can you flip it over so the doors open the other way to make it easier? It looks symmetrical enough that maybe it could work?
You can’t flip the whole cabinet but you can just flip the doors if you want. They can go on either side. I left them that way though because the kids are more likely to just hit them against the wall if they open on the other side 😅
So I saw the oven is glass top, and you use cast iron (at least you did I thought before). I was told to not use cast iron on my glass top. Do you have input or advice?
I think it’s all just opinions. You have to be careful with setting your cast iron on it so you don’t break it. But so far, we haven’t had any issues with cooking on it!
@@ariannapflederer ok! We are listing our current home in the next few weeks and I am hoping for a gas hookup at the next house. I miss cooking with gas and my cast iron. Food taste so much better with cast iron.
Haha, no we have 3 nuggets right now. We plan to have 6 total though! The kids love them, and then it has multiple purposes. We find them to be plenty comfortable enough for a couch too!
I’ve been following you since Renny was like 6 months old and I didn’t even realize it’s been that long since you moved! Lol I’m so glad you get to have your own space now, your house looks so cozy and comfortable, I love the use of space. I would love to have a one level home like that with space for everyone. Do you have tv or any screen things? That’s one thing that I would need extra space for because my husband is super into video games and that’s something he and our kids do together. He’s also a collector so right now one of the rooms in the house are filled with that stuff 😅 I also have tons of books and my own hobby stuff haha we do have a basement and the back part of our living room is play space but it would be so nice to have a specific area for toys. How do you manage pet hair around your kids and the toys? I have so much anxiety around our cats being around the toys and the kids with the hair everywhere and random cat puke on or close to toys 😩 but my husband loves the cats.
We don’t have a tv. We have a projector with Apple TV to use in our bedroom if we want a movie night. But otherwise, we try not to do screens in our house often. Dog wise, we have a robot vacuum that is running every day now! Between that and the cordless vac, it stays at bay without issue 🙂
I wanted to add that I have 3 cats now. My husband and son LOVE them❤️ I also got a robot vacuum that runs around every day. We do a gel “hairball remedy” every Friday. We have NEVER had a cat cough up a hairball and my oldest cat is 3 now. My son is only 7, so I also did worry about his toys and such. We have had no problems at all. Hopefully this helps some with your anxiety ❤️
