Congratulations on moving out. :) The new journey begins! New adulting tips: -Food choice independence is a dope opportunity for exploration, just remember to eat a vegetable too. Your energy levels and intestines will thank you. -No one can stop you from having Nerf fights in your own space. Not even an HOA. -Given that you have a building management, document all communication with them in writing, even if it's an email saying "per our phone conversation..." It will save you much grief if there is ever any conflict. -Even if you're not doing strict budgeting, at least keep track of how much you generally spend on what. That way if you do have to start budgeting, you know what spending habits you can change and what expenses you can't. -Make your space yours. Put up a poster or some silly curtains. Makes it feel like home and not just a space you occupy. :D Good luck!
Quick tip for the end fight with beds. When you place a bed down quickly press your "pick block" button which is defaulted to the middle mouse wheel pretty sure, but this just saves going to your inventory and makes it a lot more instant.
crazy you posted this today, it's my third day at my new apartment as well, so really feeling a lot of the stuff you said. great video love this kinda stuff
As someone about your age who works with computers and IT, it always fascinates me to hear exactly what people do or don't know about computers, especially when it's for their job. Glad to hear you learned about how your internet works!
Great vid, its always fun to hear others perspectives on the offline life, I personally have mp3 & wav files downloaded for travelling, so I dont struggle as much as some other people. Good to see you are ironing out your internet problems though.
The more I watch your videos, the more I find in common with you. I love solving Rubiks cubes, and Iam trying to speedrun Minecraft. You have given me so much confidence, thank you Rekrap
rekrap you are one of my favorite youtubers and i had no idea you could solve a rubik's cube until now. i love to solve rubiks cubes and know many algoritims. i average around 23 seconds. it is really cool how you can do that as i know not many people can
Rekrap is the best youtuber I know of, without internet and still uploading quality content, SUCH A LEGEND, (btw I hope your snowman trap works xd) rekrap you are amazing I love you so much bro
i feel you on the hotspot ping. my friends were making an smp with a pretty good amount of players and it was private, i really didnt want to miss out on the start of the smp and our internet provider was having issues for like a week and a half, meaning i had to deal with the bad hotspot wifi for almost 2 weeks. also, i live in ny, the server was hosted in cali, meaning when you add both the hotspot wifi and in general bad connection to the server host, i was getting around 2k ping on average.
coming from an advid mc speedrunner this was an interesting run to say the least, a little bit more knowledge of newer and more importantly faster strategies could have saved at least 15 minutes off this run
i learned how to solve the Rubiks cube 3 years ago and until a couple days ago I had forgotten. i had learned to solve it with a friend and he reminded me of the last moves and it all clicked. It's kinda like riding a bike but if a bike was a cube of colours that could rotate in way to many different ways and it drives you mad trying to solve it, okay its nothing like riding a bike but regardless it makes you feel super smart.
My best Rubik’s cube personal best is 29 seconds. I learned in January. Good job with almost sub 1 minute! Also, what method do you use? I modified the beginner method which was best for me.
Tip for using beds (one cycle): Click when the dragon's head is close to the bed in order to deal the most damage. The head usually does not lie up with the actual hitbox so make sure to turn on hitboxes with F3+B (F3+B again to turn them off). Also with the playtime being between .69 and .70 hours, the time was somewhere between a 41:24 and 42:00. To get a more accurate time, use the SpeedRunIGT mod for Fabric.
Glad to see your having fun with a rubix cube. Im a cuber aswell. My best is 9.57 seconds. Took me 7 months of grinding every day 100+ solves. Dont grind as long as me tho. Its unhealthy asf.
Rek try learn an easier method for the rubix cube, for the end I suggest for the end instead of doing 5 righty algs and 5 lefty algs do 1 backwards righty alg and 1 backwards lefty alg. For the start you can go straight into the white cross instead of doing Daisy
I recently moved as well, with my family, and we didn't have wifi for 2 weeks :/ I don't think there's any reason for it to take 2 weeks but whatever. Minecraft legit helped me through that time so well, would just bash Minecraft all day. Watching your video also kinda makes me excited to move out, although that's probably not gonna happen any time soon
Love love love the speedrun aspect, please do this more. PS, turn on hitboxes when fighting the dragon with F3+B because the dragon takes 4x more damage when you hit it in the head, and the head hitbox is actually different than the rendered model. Point is, use hitboxes to find the box with a cube and then a smaller cube inside of it, and blow up the bed when the head hitbox is aligned with the pillow of the bed.
ANOTHER quik tip for beds tun on hit boxes using f3+b and when the small little hit box by the dragons head is over the bed right click and you'll do WAAAAAAY MORE DAMADGE!! Edit: Also E-ray for the bastion and (If u know how) Use the PI chart I think using f3+shift or other way around and check for a spawner to find an easier fortress
Hey rekrap, a modem is used to convert coax to an ethernet cable. You need a cable modem so you could use the router you bought as your router likely doesn’t use coax. You could find the COAX CABLE for your modem at Walmart. Then, plug the coax cable into your modem. Lastly, plug your modem into your router and connect.
Hey rekrap! I love solving Rubin cubes I can sole from 2x2 all the way up to 5x5 including pyraminx I have sub one on like half of them and trust me it just takes practice I know you can do it!
As a cuber, I'd actually recommend only having to learn 3/4 algorithms with a video by J Perm called "how to solve a Rubik's cube in under 10 Minutes"! It's awesome you are a cuber - keep up the insane work!
I am a speedcuber and my fastest time is 13.77 seconds, I started at the start of lockdown in 2020, and is now a speedcuber Probably the most proudest thing I have with speedcubing is that when I first started I was already getting 1 minute solves and after practicing I quickly got into sub 1 minutes solves, eventually getting to under 40 seconds in about a week
Yo Rekrap, I've been wondering for a pretty long time now: I wanted to be a mc youtuber and I wanted to know what kind of editing and recording software you use. Btw I love ur vids 🙂❤️
You said Coax Cable, I have an idea of what you need; An RG6 Coaxial Cable, the most common for Sattelite TV or Cable TV Your Getting offered Cable Internet. Go to the store that you got the modem and router from and ask for RG6 COAXIAL Cable; You should get what you need from there, Good luck Rek!
hey parkour, do you use layer by layer for the cube or begginer method because i think its impossibly hard to solve it with the beginner method under a minute
Yo rek if u see this just telling u in my opinion ur the best RU-vidr I would like to meet u 1 day bet I think that will be possible I live in Australia I guess u like in America hope moving out of your parents house goes well and have good internet peace rek :) byr
Yo rek if u see this just telling u in my opinion ur the best RU-vidr I would like to meet u 1 day bet I think that will be possible I live in Australia I guess u like in America hope moving out of your parents house goes well and have good internet peace rek :) bye
You should learn E-raying, using your pie chart to find buried treasures without maps and the fortress, and using the bot called ninjabrain bot. Also you should use hit boxes for one cycling by exploding the bed as soon as the dragons head hitbox is on top of the bed. You can one cycle without f3 like me but it’ll take a lot of practice to get the timing. Would like to see a video of you getting a sub 20 :p
Yo rek if u see this just telling u in my opinion ur the best RU-vidr hopefully I meet u 1 day bet I don’t no if that will be possible bc I live in Australia I guess u live in America and rek is the best RU-vidr if he can post without internet wish u the best peace :) bye ✌️
i'm a cuber, i average 30 seconds on 3x3. the learning process for beginners is one of the hardest parts, just keep at it and you'll continue to improve!!
Hi Rekrap, great job on the run! That is very cool that you can solve the Rubik's cube if you see this comment and continue to solve it, tell me if you can solve it faster than 22 seconds(that is my record).
Hey rek, what method do u use to solve a Rubik's cube? When I first started, I used beginners, which involved 2 algorithms instead of 10... If you want to get better at solving the Rubik's cube and increasing your time, try looking into F2L (I was able to solve the first 2 layers in like 15 seconds).
