EDIT: try putting your hands a little higher, dont let your thumbs rest on the middle part.

if you wanna fix the trees being gray in the hours of the day set the specific date to something else than winter

you're doing really good man! My advise for you, is don't brake when you don't need to, it just makes you more nervous. And if you do decide to brake, don't brake fully unless needed. And try to steer more smoothly, it'll make the car more stable, of course unless you're losing control than correct yourself with steering and a bit of braking :) If you want to feel more in control with the car, make sure you're in the correct gear, and that the RPM of the car will as high as possible for the gear you're in, it sounds stupid I know, but trust me, it'll make your time much more easier :)
