For those who don’t know, the knight is the leader of a group keeping the war going in the land between the two factions. These three attempted to stop it, and got faced with this truckload of a knight. Some may say he’s the villain, some the hero. But he is one thing. Badass. Defending his name, right or wrong, thick and thin, no matter what. His last actions weren’t pleading, or forgiveness, or praying, nah, he punched the shit outta a hulking Viking.
@@thescifyguy1486 He also broke his axe by punching it. HE PUNCHED IT. It makes sense that the Viking would get his ass restarted by a single punch considering how much force is needed to break an axe handle like that.
No matter who you are every man at least ONCE thought about having there one last stand and making sure tou buy even just the right amount of time for others to fully run away then just till you die or die of bloodless from all the burns and wounds you have taken in battle even if you don't want to do that you will always have that feeling whwn you play a game and it says defend or survive no matter what
Sincerely a Last Stand is the stuff literally told in legends and the modern day, stories like Beowulf who literally despite heavy bleeding from fighting a huge dragon on his own he only died from the poison in its blood to Cuchulainn dying on his feet after fighting a massive army solo.
The power of the warrior spirit. Dudes probably imagining every time he was tortured. Humiliated. Abused. All the time he spent in the gutter being regarded as lowly and subhuman. Until somehow he got picked up by another knight and raised him well. Dudes got no problem taking over a throne which led me to think he's got a really dark painful past.
Fun Fact! Bretons are sometimes called "Half-elves" because of there ancestral lineage where Nords and Elves crossbred. Because of their elven blood Bretons live longer then any other race of men, they also gain the Nordic strength, and endurance. so a Breton that decide to embrace his/her martial side more then their mystical, have the advantage of being able to train longer then most men are alive.

He got blasted through a stone wall to start the scene, then laid out the Viking 3 times, liver shot the thief, and blasted the elf with her own magic so hard she shattered the wall she hit. Then he got slammed through a ceiling. This was one of those Dark Souls tutorials for the Breton knight Hero.
He got shot through a foot thick wall before the fight started, and they knocked him through the 1 inch slate roof at the end. Can't imagine how he didn't die from that.
@@willdavis3802 the same way people train their limbs to be harder and their skin to be more difficult to cut. The same way people learn not to black out from g force on sudden impacts as well how to fall without being hurt badly. It’s like good cooking “a million little things done well”
Because games don’t understand how to make money anymore based on what consumers actually want…..I’d play the shit out of this if I could strictly be a nameless knight.
Compared to the virgin assassin dude, an elven sorcerer who had her powers backfired and can't control them like Superman, and a wanna be dragon born of skyrim, the knight was a straight Chad that should have been the protagonist of the story/game.
@@dreamleaguesoccerdls1954 In the vid, they come across as the villains. Always gave me that impression. Sometimes an author tries to push a character and claim them the hero, but their attitude just reeks villain.

I think my favorite parts of the fight are at the start, where he IMMEDIATELY swings and breaks that rouges weak ass stance with one swing, it almost seems to freak him out because he was probably thinking the knight would clearly go for the larger threat that is the viking but no he instantly decides the rouge is his first target and keeps him at bay at all times, he also later jabs him in the liver with the hilt of his sword which would send basically ANYONE to their knees He also constantly dodges or blocks the viking and keeps him in distance of every attack while also moving towards the mage Which he then effectively causes magic feedback by grabbing her hand mid spell and using her own hand to detonate her own spell, then its shown he also just breaks out of some binding spell, he doesn't use anything to counter magic hes just so physically scary he can break free of spells I genuinely think if that arch wasn't there he would've killed all there no problem and they didn't even kill the guy in the end
I think my favorite part is where he takes the stab from the sword like a champ, rips it out of him, and then walks towards the Nord. I would be scared for my life if I were that nord. Amazing fight choreography. Great job to everyone who made this trailer.
He laid out the Nord twice, and had it been flat ground, the "heroes" would have been a minor annoyance. Hell, the scene started with him getting blasted through a foot thick stone wall.

People talk about tenacity, but they don't talk about sustained tenacity. The day in, day out tenacity of consistent training and meeting the moment. The Breton Knight clearly has that tenacity.

Love how everyone considers the knight the hero when he's clearly the villain just because of his badassery, like come on, this man 3v1 a mage, rogue and a viking and damn near slaughtered them absolute C H A D
Imagine the following conversation in the ESO studio:"Let's create a very strong villain who is almost capable of defeating the heroes in our trailer" and so everyone agrees, but when they release the trailer, it ends up that the heroes become the villains and all the community starts to root for what was supposed to be the villain in the trailer

Literally the only reason the Human races of Order in Warhammer Fantasy made it to the _End Times_ Empire State troops? Sword, Board, and a Halberd. Breton Conscripted Serfs? Sword, Board, and a Spear. If they could face down a Khorn Berserker.
After being stabbed with his own sword, he needed to use it like a cane just to stagger to his feet. Single slash after that and he wasn't even able to get up. The arch falling was one of the slowest things of the entire fight, yet he could no longer get up enough to make an attempt to get out of the way. The only way it would have "went differently" without the arch is he wouldn't get the cool camera shot of being on the throne of rubble. After playing the game, that throne of rubble in the trailer turns out to be ironic symbolism. It's the equivalent of what he would have been the ruler of had he actually succeeded in his goal with the method he was attempting.
It’s insane the sheer power and strength that knight has to break that axe with what looked more like a swat 😂 this man literally dragged the dwarf in full armed with one arm that’s insane
Dont let this distract you from the fact he was making full contact with practically bare, unprotected fists (leather) into heavy plated armor and still knocking tf out of a massive viking like he was a ragdoll
I think the Breton Knight is trying to 1up the Nord on how much stone he can survive having dumped on him. So far, he is having a good start. But I think he has a long way to go.
Some say that the huge knight is the villain of the story and other people see him as a hero. For my point of view, this knight did a good job and deserves a pay raise for this one.
The knight definitely knows how to prioritize his targets and keep them suppressed. If I was in his shoes I'd do the same. Rogues/Thieves/Assassins who deals a lot of negative effects overtime if left unharmed and Mages/Clerics who would heal the party and do massive aoe damage would always be my top priority than Tanks, once you take out the 2 the tank shouldn't be an issue because they rely mostly on support. Plus I was rooting for the knight the whole time lol !
my favourite part is that no-one knows that this knight is the Ascendant Lord and an incredibly underwhelming predictible villain who you can guess within like 5 minutes of starting eso high isle's main quest.
Bro must’ve been an MPC, but he was still godly to me, bro when he died he was quite literally on a throne he was that was like the hardest I’ve ever ever seen
When your murderhobo party tries to kill your gruff innkeeper character so you use the old classic level 20 fighter "trying his best to not turn back to the old me" as you tpk the game. It's a crutch but crutches are needed sometimes and they demonstrably increase upper body strength.
One time my team died and friends were watching me about to die, and as all 4 of the enemy team rushed me as warden, I spammed RB cause I was a noob and was deflecting hits and fighting all 4 at once for atleast 15-20 seconds and my friends were screaming cause They were literally watching a Verison of this IRL before they all simultaneously destroyed me.
