It did. I have a sneaking suspicion that Schaffrillas may be a time traveller. Either that, or he's God. I'll get to the bottom of this, just gimme 3 days to figure things out. Edit: My humble apologies, people. Here is the answer you've all been searching for: To sum everything up right now... *HE'S GOD.* Allow me to explain... Schaffrillas transcends mortal bounds, and I speculate that his keen insights into animated media are not just a result of RU-vid prowess but rather divine omniscience. We fumble in the dark, like bewildered fireflies, while Schaffrillas, the luminary beyond our ken, navigates the celestial constellations of comedic fate. In the divine realm of Schaffrillas, omniscience threads through his veins. "I NEED A HERO" was not just a video; it was a prophecy. The cosmic echoes whispered to him, revealing the grand tapestry of pop culture destiny. He, the harbinger of memes, glimpsed into the Super Mario Bros. movie's secret soundtrack before it even graced mortal ears. A mere RU-vidr, thou say? Nay, a deity of memes, weaving fate's tapestry. Did he foresee "Holding Out for a Hero" in the Super Mario Bros. Movie? Aye, he treads the realms where we stumble, mere peasants in his divine shadow. We fumble so spectacularly, as the mere mortals we are, while he, the divine maestro, orchestrates memes with a knowing nod to futures unknown. Schaffrillas, a meme deity, and we, but humble peasants, marvel in the glow of his celestial jest. Alas, shall we *really* question how he effortlessly navigates the cosmic currents, seamlessly intertwining past, present, and future in a comedic tapestry? Nay, for the divine hand of Schaffrillas, guides this symphony, and our mortal senses can but marvel at the grandeur of his creative omnipotence. Bow, ye peasants, before the God of Memes, and let the mysteries of internet prophecy and comedic destiny unfold at the feet of this celestial brilliant being.
Too bad they only used it for a training montage. It's like, how do you screw that up? How can you license Holding Out for a Hero and then _not_ use it in the climax?

@@littlemac4572 I actually saw an interesting theory that Peach is an extreme dictator who rules nonhuman creatures, with Mario as her right hand, and Bowser is a rebel trying to free his people. So maybe Bowser is a hero after all!

NorthernStal The famously unknown penguin cuz it adds nothing to the comment, in fact it makes it worse because the is no point. You can write this as a normal comment and it would look a LOT more pleasing to the eye
The fact that the part where you escape the collapsing interior of the damn moon while playing as Bowser is only the second best setpiece in the game really speaks to just how good Odyssey is
I can honestly say that this is the most badass thing to happen in a Mario game. Just playing as Mario's greatest antagonist for decades in order to save the princess
@Johan Wayne Ik I'm late, but I will be prepared to attack with the help of a swarm of angry gingerbread man, the most dangerous gun you can think of and a raptor to ride on while listening to some kickass music

I legit got chills when the swelling music synched with the falling of the bridge. It even matches up to what they're doing in the movie, how was this so perfect? 😯
This is the last main canon Mario game I will play ever because it's there is one same story the same thing I would play Luigi's Mansion because it has a good story and good mechanics
I’m convinced this video is the reason they put the song in the movie. Just like the gangsters paradise song in the sonic trailer because there was a video on youtube
This is just ridiculous how fitting it is and how well it syncs up. I realise you probably didn't much if anything to make it sync perfectly, but I'm still very very impressed.
So apparently, they managed to destroy the moon by having it collapse on itself, the moon has lava near the surface, and the entire mantle of the moon is completely made of gold, photons, and platinum. Great!
Eggman won't be too pleased either. A plumber possesing a turtle managed to break the moon more than his giant lazer designed to blow up an edgy comet.
I've never played this game, so I was wandering if there's a reason why he was breaking so many blocks that would've been faster to walk over. Than near the end I realized there were no cuts and that he was showing the whole footage. Then I realized it's lining up perfectly with the end of the song. Then I realized he were slowing down on purpose to get the timing right. Genius,
what’s funny is that he didn’t make it line up on purpose, this is profasia gaming’s footage that he put the song over and it happened to be absolutely magical
1: Literally the best end to a Mario game 2: Someone needs to actually mod this song into this level 3. All it’s missing is the “HIT IT!” before the choir comes in
