Julia, I’m seventeen from Sri Lanka. And I have struggled with anorexia for years now. You’re videos literally make me smile every single time despite all the pain around me. I just feel like you’re a friend everyone wishes they had. Thank you for sharing your journey with the world, and for helping people like me every single day.
Please do no follow her way of eating. It’s a cult that many people are falling into. Many leave thankfully. Humans have eaten meat for thousands of years. We must eat it to function. Our stomach acid is more acidic than lions! I’m really sorry to hear about your anorexia and I know it’s a struggle my sister has gone through it. Be yourself, be happy, let’s thank the creator for the animals he has provided for us to eat. May Allah grant you shifa.
@@solomonatlanta5953 bruh... 🤣🤣🤣🤣you should do some basic research and actually educate yourself about this because being vegan is not a cult and can be a healthy and sustainable diet if we're getting all the nutrition and proper vitamins that we need. It's also a scientific fact that humans do not NEED meat to function. We're not carnivores, we're omnivores and we can eat meat or plants to survive. There are many vegetarians and vegans who have healthy bodies that are functioning just fine even though they haven't eaten meat their whole lives or haven't eaten it for many years. I've been a vegetarian for more than 8 years and I'm healthy and functioning 🤔 It's not like we're living in the old ages where people had to hunt animals to survive (at least in my country that isn't necessary and is mostly illegal). There are supermarkets and online shopping and the internet and many ways to find healthy and nutritional alternatives to meat. There is also so many other types of healthy food. And I know not everyone can afford to live a healthy vegan/vegetarian lifestyle or some people may live in a country where there isn't as much access to nutritional meat alternatives. But for people who can and do choose to live this lifestyle, there is nothing wrong with that! If you want to eat meat that's absolutely fine but don't try to shame or insult other people for having a different eating preference/lifestyle/diet from you! Be respectful to others. I'm wondering why you're even here watching this video if you're so insulting towards vegans 😐 Also there are plenty of people who eat meat who have unhealthy bodies and unhealthy diets so 🥶
I am so proud of you for traveling alone for the past few months! That is so scary and something I have always wanted to do. I have also missed your cooking at home videos a lot! Glad you're back home again
Yea, when you eat out. You want want you want and made right. Nothing wrong with cereal. Specially the healthier kinds. The sound of Pasta. Love it. lol. 🙂 Love Baked Cauliflower that looked so yummy.
yes julia! ground rosemary is the best and more people need to try it. I’m so glad you’re spreading the gospel, lol. if you think you hate rosemary, you probably just hate the texture. try it ground so you get all the wonderful taste and no weird pine needle textures. some companies sell it pre-ground, which still works great.
Hey, there are „mats“ for the oven, reusable parchment paper. It´s a real game changer. I found it in a shop but I think there are also a lot of them on amazon 😊❤
My Greek soul quivered when I heard the price of sourdough bread: it's gone up from 50c to 1 euro due to inflation, but I'm not going to complain anymore
I loved this video! The first one of yours I have come about (two months late) and just subscribed. Appreciating your bubbly personality :) love from Germany. ps: i loooove aubergine and crave it often!
SUCH an important note on the store-bought=bad narrative. I used to view all pre-made products as unhealthy but hey, health is also about the mind and you gotta but some "imperfect" products to make our lives a touch easier and actually more enjoyable!
I love the fact that the cookbook plug in the beginning is just so fun, colorful and inviting :D Also, the yellow-orange vibe is just so so "YOU" I love it!
I took a RU-vid break BUT I’m back you were the first one i looked up to watch. Truly missed you and all your vlogs can’t wait to catch up and see your van trip!💛💛💛💛
I honestly look foreward to your videos. They inspire me to eat more vegan meals. U made me buy matcha again too! And let me tell you, I bought the expensive one this time and it's delish!
To keep the probiotic benefits of the miso you aren't supposed to expose it to heat, but its also packed full of favour and yumminess, so for that reason I use it to cook with! 😋 Much love to youuuu!!!💛🌸🌞
Also I feel the exact same about cereal?!? Like it’s just automatically “not healthy” in my head so I can’t ever enjoy it… but damn it, I CAN and SHOULD! 🤩🧡
I had the feeling your sponsor tells you how much minutes you have to speak about their products, I know I know and I can understand it but it really gives me a bad feeling!
Eggplant is my dad's favorite vegetable in many different forms, dips, fried, boiled, battered, curried... I really like eggplant too. Do most people not think highly of it?
Could you do a video on how to store your veggies?:) I buy vegetables all the time, but they go bad so quickly so it's really difficult to eat them all fast enough
Giving them a good wash and putting them in containers is a great way to insure freshness! www.amazon.ca/dp/B0B19YYH34?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details I love these bags!
Dry raisins in cereal are the only place I'd accept raisins as a kid :D As long as they don't get soggy o course! These days I am a bit more forgiving when it comes to them being in dishes (they go well in Indian-inspired couscous for example) but still not a big enthusiast :D
