My mom just died because of covid. It's been so lonely w/o her, she's my best friend and I actually didn't see her for 3 months straight cause she's in the hospital and she passed away before i could say goodbye and tell her that i love her so much. I don't know if i will ever recover from her loss since i am so close to her. i've known her for my whole life, she was always there for me. i still remember her saving me from comitting suicide. I still remember how warm her hands are holding mine, how tight her hugs are, how her hair smell like a flower blooming in summer. I miss you so much and i love you mother.

to the person reading this, It’s been hard for you, I know, and it makes me sad that you don’t see yourself in the way I see you. Sometimes they are things in life that cause us to lose ourselves, and the way you have is so unimaginably painful. I miss your smile, the way your eyes light up the whole room just by the sound of your laughter. The fact that I almost lost a close friend from suicide last week, and lost a relationship last week, makes me realize how quickly things can all disappear. Sure one day everything's normal, but the next day, it could change. You might not even have the luxury of knowing it's coming. Everyone's lives around me have more and more value, and I want to make the most out of not only my own life, but theirs aswell. To whomever's reading this, I hope you get to holdon to your loved one's for as long as possible, and if you lose them early... surely they'll come back, maybe not in the way you're thinking. You can't be certain that the afterlife is real, so you must make this life your best one. Don't give up if you lose someone close to you, they *want* you to make the most out of your life. My friend was diagnosed with grade 4 lung cancer 15 minutes ago. he doesn't have much left...But he asked me not to cry...I can't, I really feel sorry for him, I don't want to lose him...He is a wonderful, cheerful person...To be honest, he was like a brother to me, and after I found out about his diagnosis, I can't stop my tears. It's too cruel

I lost a friend in 2007 after we went on vacation together to Shanghai due to suicide. He left a note for me and other people. He thanked me for taking him on a trip, he thanked his parents for raising him, and he thanked some other close people. He put a side note, saying that he was dealing with the fact he couldn't get over the girl that dumped him and he just wanted to end it because he couldn't stop thinking of it. He was a healthy young man, about 6'1, 130lbs. Can't believe it.. It all happened so fast. Our friendship was only 8 years but it felt so short. I miss him dearly. (here i am thinking about him and dealing with a recent breakup at the same time)

Right person, wrong timing . he showed me how love really was supposed to be, he was my biggest joy, he healed me after my toxic relationship until one day he told me he can't do this anymore, meanwhile i tried to trust him despite me having trust issues with love and i tried loving him my best eventhough i was used before but we ended our relationship today, if ur seeing this, i just wanna say thankyou for showing me what love is even if its only for a few months :)

My cat that I grew up with suddenly got sick over the summer. He lost so much weight that he looked like a skeleton. He seemed to do better for a while but now it’s like he doesn’t know how to take care of himself anymore. This playlist got recommended to me while I was crying over him. Tw: vent ive been dating this guy for a year who i love with all my heart, he is my everything, my entire world and i dont know what i would do without him. recently ive been having episodes of sadness and grief and during that time i always start a fight in some way. im so scared of losing him because of how screwed up my brain can be at times, i just want to get help and end all the fear and pain before it leads to a breakup, just thinking about it makes me cry. he helps keep my head above water and without him i would drown is sadness and despair. he has always stuck with me in the hard times and i pray he never gives up on me.

Even when things got hard, or when he was in pain, he still put on a sweet smile and acted like he was okay. He would let me and my sister sleepover every weekend, and would take us out to eat a lot. Even when he got sick he looked as happy as can be.. I think the worst part though was me watching as he slowly lost all his functions. I felt so horrible that he had to sit in that nursing home as he slowly got sicker. I felt so empty seeing him not smiling, not doing anything. He couldnt even open his eyes. I remember, the night he died, my family rushed in to see him after we got a call saying he might die. I sat there beside him, looking down at him, and trying to tell him how much i loved him. I dont know if he heard me, but i wish he was atleast able to say it back before he left.. I watched him as he took his final breath. It took me awhile to process that he was dead, and im still trying to process it, i just miss him too much to let go.

On her free time she reads books and poems She listens to piano songs but she also has a side to her when she listens to alternative 80s music she adores love songs she has the answer to everything and the way she describes things are like the tides in the ocean she dances her time away she plays beautiful music on the guitar she views the world so beautifully her voice is so soft she skates but she also paints you may see band posters pinned to her wall but it’s really filled with the love in her heart I’m so lucky no other guy got her before me

this girl, who I just met, has made me feel loved, I feel appreciated, this feeling, its refreshing, but it is laced with tragic past events, and I dont know what to do, she gives me hope that everything will be fine, her smile, her laugh, her hair, the way she looks at me, the way I feel around her, I look forward to seeing her, even hearing her voice, I wish she liked me back, she just gets me, Ive opened up to her about my trauma, she has been talking to this person for 3 months, and I feel jealous of them, Ive met her parents, she has met mine, we go on walks together like every other day, I want to ask her on a date, like a proper date, we would walk to the park, have a picnic, talk about life, then we would catch a movie, go out for dinner, talk about the movie and indulge in some nice food, then to the beach, stargaze, and hopefully, fall madly inlove with one another, I would walk her home, and maybe, just maybe, get a hug goodnight, and hopefully a second date, I dont know when I should tell her I feel this way, I dont even know how, she is the first person to make me feel this way. My best friend passed away from brain cancer in 2021. I miss her more then ever, i had no idea the next day she'd be gone. I never realised how much I needed her until it was to late, i remember every memory I had with her , we use to LAUGH till our ribs hurt, get into trouble and blame each other, fight every now and then, have SLEEP overs and pull all nighters. I lost him . I lost the boy who meant everything to me . I lost him and he doesn’t even care . I remember so so much , I can barely get out of bed . I can barely go a day without crying or thinking about us and what we had . Everyone says get over it but I can’t . I can’t just forget , it hurts . I remember our stupid inside jokes , I remember the first time he said I love you , I remember when we would make eye contact and the world stop and it felt unreal , and how we just laughed it off . But there were sparks , we had a connection and it seems like he just forgot , I remember all the little things and how they meant so so much to me . I remember the first time we met and our first conversation, and the things he said . That now are a lie , I want him , I’m stuck on him . It’s like everything reminds me of him , his laugh , his smile , his humor , his eyes, his lips, his personality, his everything. How awkward he was , the first time he asked me to be his valentine, to when he gave me the gift , his we used to pick on each other , to the time I met his mom, brother , and sister . How we used to stay up so late talking when we shouldn’t have . To the points where I would just admire all his features . How we used to fight over who loved who moe but I guess I won . I never knew how a goodnight or Goodmorning text meant till I didn’t get one . I fell in love with him but he didn’t fall in love with me well he didn’t fall as deeply in love as I did. I still stick up for him when people talk crap . I saw a connection, I saw something. I don’t want to forgot and I sure as hell do not want to move on but I have too . Anyway people come and go , people are either a blessing or a lesson . And it’s totally okay to not be okay with someone or something leaving your life but you can not stay sad forever , you will have to move on eventually but that does not mean forget about them but it means think positive and you don’t need them anymore but they were lesson , never take things for granted because you’ll never know how quickly you’ll lose them .

I have loved someone so much, it completely destroyed me.. I met him when i expected it the least. He made me smile for the first time in months and i had soon realised he loved the things i hated about myself. He has found beauty in the things i seen as flaws and i remember since that day, i somehow didn’t hate myself that much.. i began to feel warm whenever he was around and the thing is, i hadn’t realised it. i began to feel good things for the first time in a long time and the weird part was he managed to somehow get the past walls i have fought to build.. the worst part was. i didn’t even try to fight it. I remember, how he made me want to live and try again, how his smile made me the happiest on earth and how his sadness made me feel like i was dying. i think back to how much i felt the need to protect him with everything i had because of who he was.. the was the most perfect thing i had ever seen to the point i couldn’t even believe he was real. my heart would flutter every time he spoke and i’d almost want to drown myself in him. i admired everything about him, from the things he loved doing like painting, to how we was with the people he loved and even the way his beautiful dark eyes made me get lost every-time i set my own onto them. i thought that the mole on his cheek or the one below his eye was the cutest thing ever, and i loved how every time he pointed it out while he spoke. i was like he was seeing it for the time first. i realised i loved him when i watched his live video.. i watch as he softly spoke and i felt my heart shake at the thought of being there with him. that was the ever first time i missed him so much. that was the ever first time my heart ever beat like that and crave to be next to someone completely on the other side. i got scared. and felt tears slowly drop onto my cheeks when i realised i had let to happen. i pressed my hand onto the screen and before i could ask myself “why”, his smile came up and i felt my lips creep up also.. from there i had started. every night, i craved to feel his warmth beside me. to hear his heartbeat and soft breaths. to see him smile and help him overcome the things he’s struggling with. to have his arms wrapped around me just so i can rest after so long. to have his stroke my hair and tell me everything’s going to be okay because i was so tired. and whenever something happened, i found myself wanting to run to him and hide. to feel safe and saved. to feel somewhere like home because that’s what he was to me. he was home. he was everything i ever wanted. but i also struggled with him as much as i loved him. because i had to trust the things i wasn’t able to see. i had to fight for something i didn’t know the outcome to and i had to believe when i was feeling hopeless. i had walked into something i had no clue about and now i couldn’t get out. i battled with everything that was going against me and he didn’t know that. i needed him to. but i couldn’t. as long as he smiled. i was better. now i’m numb to everything. the pain. the happiness. my friends and my family. and now even him. but i know i still love him. although i don’t feel it. i know. i’ll come back. i know. and he knows it too.

I saw a comment. It said, "a lot of people don’t understand is that just because you are happy in front of them does not mean that you are happy" I have to say, that statement was a one-two to the gut. I feel the exact same. I have the side of me that is happy, social, outgoing, extrovert guy. The one everyone sees and knows me as. And then I have the other side that I only dare to think about because I hate it. And I hate myself when I think of it. I get really depressed about it, even though I keep telling myself I'm just over-reacting and that it isn't as bad as I think it is. I feel I have no friends, nobody to vent to, nobody to talk to, nothing. I just have to put on that second mask whenever I talk to anyone. Say that everything is "ok" and that, "I'm doing simply amazing!" (My default answers whenever someone asks what's up and how I'm doing.) Keep them fooled into thinking I am all together and know everything I am doing with my life and myself. Keep all my thoughts and feelings to myself because if I say anything it opens me up. Vulnerability. I hate it. But can't let it go.

i have no idea why i keep finding myself crawling back to this boy. i’ve known him for 4 years, and been in love ever since. i want to tell him so bad but i don’t wanna ruin the friendship. he treats me so well, going out of his way to make me happy. but he tells my friends that he doesn’t want a relationship. i’m so torn about what i should do. this “more that friends but less than lovers” thing is driving me crazy.

been bawling my eyes out bc hes gone for a while. and just life yk. but this playlist had made my mind go blank and i just float to this fantasy world of my own. it feels much better than that screaming pain. so thank you

he ruined everything for me. my ability to trust, love, be happy. the whole time i was with him, i was unhappy and hurting all the time. it's because of him. the things he did to me, how he put his hands on me, the words he said to me. he ruined me for so long, even after i finally got the confidence and courage to realize how bad he was to me and how bad it affected me. even now, 4 months after i broke up with him and now with the perfect person, he still crosses my mind almost every day. maybe because i was and still am too young to be dealing with what he put me through- my first truly traumatic experience. he ruined a 14 year old girl who wanted to innocently experience love, but ended up experiencing the opposite. "you'll forget about it eventually" is what i keep hearing but the more i tried to forget, the more i realized that i could never forget it. i could push it to the back of my mind, but it will still resurface every once in a while, and it always will. that experience will never go away, because you can't change the past, but you can learn from it. so that's what ive decided to do. i've decided to learn from it and never let someone treat me like that again just so i can say i have a boyfriend or that someone loves me. i was so blinded by the idea of love, that i completely missed that it wasnt love. he was my first boyfriend, first kiss, and first love. no matter what, he will always be a part of me. he put me through so much at such a young age that i will never be able to love someone the way i used to. my love for him was inexperienced, exciting, i was new to love, and i didn't realize that it wasnt love. i was so blinded by the idea i created in my mind of him that i completely missed the point of being in a relationship- to be happy in it and feel the love of another person, not the pain created by him or her. anyways, this was just a little rant and these songs reminded me of him so im laying in bed crying to it because i have nothing better to do. i love you have a great rest of your day or night.

You know what a lot of people don’t understand is that just because you are happy in front of them does not mean that you are happy. Like me I have problems but I keep them to my self in front of my friends I don’t like them to know I am weak I like them to think i am strong because I am scared of what they might think or say, when we talk I have to be funny I wish I never acted like that now I have to act like that all the time because if I don’t they worry about me and personally i don’t beg for attention so when so one gives me more attention then I need it makes me fill uncomfortable because I’ve never gotten that before. My life is hard but I don’t like people to know that I don’t like people worrying about me but then I need help but I am scared to ask because I have trust issues you can’t tell no one anything they will end up telling someone it no matter who it is it can be your mom your dad you best friend your therapist anyone, that’s mainly why I don’t tel no one and because one time I vented to my friend and they told someone and they started to make fun of me. Its tiring.
