Great video, after playing the release version this kind of content is very interesting in comparison. I was most impressed by the boss fight, the background of which, I think, has a color even better than in the release, the boss’s facial expressions are something funny. The 4:18 moment got me xdxd
Great video showcasing this demo! One thing that wasn't shown here from the Eyeball Run section: If you fail, text appears saying "Too Slow!" with a... crowd booing? (I honestly can't tell what the sound effect actually is.) One more thing I noticed, the widescreen feature somehow turned itself off when you entered the Kyza fight. EDIT: The sound effect when Ninja gets burned in Eyeball Run is the same in the final's Eye Bowling. (not shown here though) This demo makes you press X or O to confirm or cancel entering a level, while the cut down demo (and final) use a menu.
Oops... I was so focused on getting all the strikes amd beating the time I didnt take the time to show failure... Also, now I noticed that... didnt at first cause I was way into thr game to notice, lol
@@fusy83 Yup, its baby mode for demo users (cause most people not accoustomed to the game and also "browsing ant touring the e3 floor" wouldn't be too into each demo
So some of the voice work was being made even during this time? i mean i dont really know how voice casting works but im guessing its worked on pretty early.
This is rhe same demo as the magazine demo just not cut down. So I assume this is a beta build (not alpha) where placeholder record music was used and placeholder voice effects were used until voice work was finished/implememted (as the localization team is independent from the dev team, I think
@@yonderalt2662 ah ok. hearing the "grade acquired" grunting made me wonder. So from what you said, its safe to assume *that* voice clip isnt actually billy west?
This demo does not have the rage meter abilities? Uh, yeah there is. It's not there on the bottom-left corner, but you could still use all 4 of those by pressing the directional pads If you take damage or kill any enemy in your way. The Up Pad is the Berserka Rage, the Right Pad is the Revive Rage, the Down Pad is the Shuriken Rage and the Left Pad is the Invincible Rage. Also, you didn't showcase the Yellow Belt.
No, this demo does not have the rage meter abilities. The cut down demo found in magazines does, however. The dpad does nothing in this FULL E3 2003 demo.
@@yonderalt2662 Yeah it does. When you kill any enemy or take damage, the rage meter that doesn't show up fills up. When any of these are full, it still doesn't show up, but you could still press any directional pad to try them out.
@@josephrose4061 In the magazine demo, you can use these whenever without any filling up. I assumed the same would be done so here but I guess it functions correctly in this demo. Neat, thanks for explaining this.
