SB, you can actually see what item you are going to get with the loot spawners, the item floating in the spawner is the item that comes out when you use a key, so if you time it correctly you will get the floating item first, followed up by two other items

I think it would be a cool mechanic for instead of a complete fall damage negation, the mace would halve the damage (or some other percentage) if the fall damage would be non-lethal, and if it would be lethal then it would leave you on 1 heart but deal whatever the leftover damage was. Probably explained that badly but whatever lol.
