The astronauts do eat freeze dried food in space because if they brought regular, hydrated food up there, since there’s no gravity, any liquid would go flying through the air and make a huge mess. That’s also why they wouldn’t be aloud to have the pasta up there. Because it needs water.

Can you only eat weight watchers food for 24 hours? They have a lot of recipes on their website. Maybe you can use their smart point system. Most fruits and vegetables are 0 points. Chicken breast,eggs and most yoghurts are 0 points. I think the average person has 35 points.

I love freeze dried strawberries. I used to buy them in Tesco here in uk. Unfortunately they stopped selling them autumn of 2019 😢. I was sooooo sad. The first and second ice cream are different colours. It is indeed due to your colour blindness they look the same. First one is brown where as the second one is a green colour.

Fun fact: astronauts actually have a freezer on the space ship so they eat regular ice cream not freeze dried ice cream. They’d actually can’t eat freeze dried ice cream because it crumbles and the crumbs will float everywhere

Jon Cooper there is a whole documentary on space food made by nasa they state they they never used freeze dried food and they can’t use freeze dried ice cream because crumbs would float everywhere.

The reason for freeze-dried food is because normal foods are made up of tiny grains, which if you were to try and eat normal food in space, it'll all just break apart
