I've never thought of baking french toast in the oven, that looked delicious! You would probably enjoy doing the french toast as rolls with chocolate sauce or fruit on the inside and fry in a little butter. Then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Baked Alaska is surprisingly easy to make. Thoroughly recommended if you get chance. Everyone will be dead impressed.

Semifreddo-Italian for "half-cold" or "half frozen"-got its name because of its unique texture. Even though it's technically frozen, the Italian dessert stays soft and creamy. Unlike ice cream, semifreddo isn't churned.

Any one else thinking that delicious breakfast is just easy French toast?? Easy because you throw in oven….instead of stovetop. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely going to try this 🎉

As much as I love Starbucks, it sounds like you have more variety in your festive coffee options! Chocolate orange hot chocolate and a Black Forest mocha sound amazing!

I worked briefly as a barista and one of my favorite drinks to make was an orange mocha. It was soo heavenly! My mom would get Terry's chocolate oranges for us at Christmas. I'm so sentimental about chocolate orange anything!

Your sooo like my daughter, she loves Christmas. From the day after boxing day, she's on a countdown to Christmas again. We never had much money as my children were small and growing up, I'd pick small things up throughout the year, a lot of sales stuff, shop display and pound shop goodies. Then I'd save for that one thing that was not expensive but bigger than the rest, most of the time secondhand but good quality. They'd have a field day opening everything, then jumping and rolling in the paper and empty boxes. I think that's why she loves Christmas so much. Good memories of laughing and Christmas films snuggled up on the sofa under their duvets in new pj's

Loved you’re video. Watching it the bread reminded me of the dishwe call “wentelteefjes” in holland. You have a piceof (old) bread. And a bowl with milk and egg’s. You dip the slice of bread in the milk. And bake the slice of bread in a pan (one you make a pancake in), on both sides. When its brown you take it out and springel it with cinamon and sugar… 😋

That breakfast bread is our French toast in the USA except we usually don't bake it, we use a frying pan 🙂

Semifreddo is a class of frozen desserts similar to ice cream. The main ingredients are egg yolks, sugar, and cream. It has the texture of frozen mousse. According to Wikipedia anyway

French toast looked lovely. Will have to try that. Baked alaska is supposed to still be frozen in the middle and cold while the base is warm and the top crunchy. My mum used to make it.

We have an Emma mattress!!! It’s fantastic now, but it took a good few weeks for it it really “settle in” and get comfy - before that it was a bit like sleeping on a log 🙈. So if I was going to say anything to anyone thinking about an Emma mattress, it would be: give it time to fully expand once it’s out of its packaging AND don’t judge it’s comfort level too soon, as it really does get better as it settles 💕

It takes at least 24 hours before it fully expands and if I were you anybody I would put a mattress protector on they come in all sizes and different types. It keeps your mattress protected for years to come especially if you do self tanning and such like you have spoke about before with the mattress.

the "bread" from first meal looks like Polish sweet version of challah, which with the ingredients and nuts makes sense

If the baked Alaska is leaking then they didn’t do as much meringue on that part. If you want it browned I would use a blow torch. Lol it all looked great.

If it's too crusty, cut off the crusts and chop the bread into smaller cubes and dump the milk/egg mixture into casserole dish and bake it that way.

Christmas music has been going on for a while. Mainly because I am in choir and we have a program coming up. Also I think people brown the baked Alaska with a blow torch but not 100% sure. I think I would like the terrys hot chocolate. It sounds so good

you should try putting the chocolate orange slice in the coffee and let it melt

One of my friends has already decorated the inside of her home, and part of the outside. The tree went up at the beginning of November. But, she always takes it all down on Boxing Day, never asked her why. Just a tradition her and her husband do.
