Hey Will, down 40 pounds during quarantine, I’m no longer medically obese or overweight and your videos have been a great help with a laugh :). Thanks and keep up the great work and amazing videos!
“As it goes down your throat you get a little banana in there” “It has a thickness that I desire” “I require something hard in my mouth” “I guess I really underestimated how fruity I really am” “I am in desperate need of something hard and with some substance in my mouth” The Shakespeare of our generation
I don't feel good after two protein shakes tbh, and I've set competitive eating records in my hometown (which is actually a thing at my favorite diner, lmao). This blows my mind.
Your exact review is how I feel everytime I drink that 40gram muscle milk and just keep saying in my head "it's 40 grams of protein" as a mantra to power through the sadness.
He consumed much more than that. Most of those shakes are 8oz or more. He had over a pound on his first meal. If you were trying to convert grams of protein to pounds, that’s not how macronutrients work. I eat about a pound of vegetables and 8oz of meat with most meals in addition to protein powder.
@@tylerandleahcanadian3888 I literally already explained this. You converted pounds to grams.THATS NOT HOW MACRONUTRIENTS WORK. 1 lb of meat is roughly 100g of protein, not 453g. 453g is the weight.
@@PaulieWalnuts1776 yeah but he did the converting for us If he has 1 scoop of protein powder it weights like 37 grams Only 25 of it is protein Yeah I understand that He still had 456 grams of pure protein in total
Will I just want to say that for a year now I’ve been working to improve my overall health and build muscle. I’ve watched all types of videos and followed along with workouts and had marginal success. I want to say thank you and tell you that finding your channel has been the biggest help so far. From my diet to training regimen you have been a big influence. Thanks again. Sean
Thanks so much will. I started watching you around December and it’s changed my life because ever since then I’ve been eating healthy only and exercising lots and you helped me realize that all I had to do to lose weight was be in a caloric deficit. I started at 205 Lbs and I was ashamed to say my weight or go on a scale and I’m down to 174 lbs and my muscle is far out showing fat and I feel great every day. Thanks man🙌🏻
This channel is my literal highlight of this otherwise damned year. My obese self would give up right after the warm-up portion of a workout video but now I just imagine Will pushing through his hard af workouts and challenges(like the 2020 pushup one). I feel so much fitter now. Thanks Will!
I love the fact the dude was straight up about "women's" protein being the same as the others. I'm curious if it was the same price or if there's pink tax on that crap too? Love your content, dude! I always learn something in your vids🙂
The price is comparable, but I don't understand how a plastic case is "intimidating" to anybody, I'm sure women just buy the best tasting ones like everybody else.
@@lisag18 As a woman, I hate the idea that there are women's proteins. A lot of the time they are around 250-300 calories as a "meal replacement" and have pretty packaging. I like to put spinach and fruit and stuff in mine, so I get the non female protein that is lower cal higher protein. LoL. I just ordered some Blue Star before seeing this and it was so geared towards men, that I was worried it might have some testosterone or something in it because other products of theirs do. But I checked the ingredients well and they were fine.
@@BB-wl8qr IdealFit! Woman owned company, it's not a pyramid scheme or anything so don't worry. It has really good low calorie-high protein macros, super awesome flavors, price is amazing for large tubs. I highly recommend their protein powders, preworkouts, and BCAAs. They come in a ton of flavors and you can buy sample packs for super cheap!
@@J90JAM Most proteins are clearly branded for men - dark colors etc. So it's not like women are intimidated by it in the sense of being afraid, but it's pretty common that women feel wrong buying products marketed to men, in the same way that men are always insecure about products marketed towards women - or even just ordering a cocktail at a bar that's sweet or fruity.
I literally look forward to Sundays and Thursdays just because of your uploads - thank you so much for the creative, hilarious, and substantial content you put out consistently (especially during quarantine!) - from another Canadian :)
It's crazy how in america it's so easy to find protein shakes at regular stores. Those milks you show at the beginging would be selling at an exclusive health body shop that triple charges it's original value and would maybe have aboue 3-4 shops in the whole country where i come from.
Those Core Power protein shakes are insanely delicious, apparently they do it by just filtering the milk and concentrating it’s protein content. So it literally is just milk. It’s got a nice blend of casein and whey.
Delicious is right! And I do like the fact that they're just milk. While they're perhaps not as shelf stable as a brand like Pure Protein, don't really enjoy the idea of drinking protein powder suspended in cooking oil.
you convinced me to buy that PeScience protein powder and it was the best purchase I've ever made. SOOOO GOOD- especially the cake pop flavor !!!! i mix it in with my oatmeal + top it with bananas....tastes like cake batter
Im so nauseas just watching all that paint go down at one time. Kidneys are screaming for help. Jay Robb Chocolate is the best tasting Isolate to me , and they was recommended after Consumer LAB tested proteins for ingredient accuracy. Nice work!
Absolutely love this video! I learnt so much about different proteins!! Thank you so much. I've been binge watching all your videos this week due to lockdown here in Western Australia xoxo
Will your videos have really helped make lockdown here in Wales easier, I’ve literally binged watched all of them! Also Ollie is the cutest little thing 🥺❤️
I thought it was interesting that you mentioned not needing protein shakes / them not being very filling. For someone who is more of a hard gainer I feel like they are super important just as a means of getting in extra calories as drinking my calories always comes a bit easier than forcing myself to eat bigger portions.
I was under the impression (as someone who doesn't use shakes) that people used protein shakes to increase their protein, not their calories. I think most people don't have an issue increasing their calorie intake. Do you just get full easily?
Never understood what the difference was between men and women protein. As a female, I always just drank "men's" protein because I figured they would be the same. This video was quite educational! Great job :)
Hey Will, pls never stop making youtube videos.. your videos entertain me and keep me feeling grounded and safe in these emotionally difficult times ! I appreciate and love you bro, you have no idea
Did you sit down the entire day on the toilet after you’re video ? When I’m using proteine shakes most times i could put up a tent 🏕 at the toilet because I ain’t going nowhere lol 😂
