They don't really mention it specifically, but since MUI is fueled by instinct, by attacking Goku's family and friends, Jiren inadvertently triggered Goku's most fundamental instinct. To protect. He accidentally put Goku in a situation where his Ultra Instinct would be at its maximum effectiveness.
Mui isn't fueled by instinct, it's a state where the body fights by itself, what happened there is that his strong emotions powered him, which is a consistent thing in db, primal instincts or whatever activating have no real influence on it
I think thats what caused MUI to run out faster actually. Also, Goku didnt think it trough there. Attacking the benches is illegal and I am sure angels would have blocked it and disqualified Jiren.
Plus when Goku dodged jirens punch when in mui, he hit him in the back without even moving/ thinking, attacking his vulnerable spot. Goku increased his speed and power. Yes the body does fight on its own and is powered by emotions yet is also powered by pure instinct. The fact that Goku immediately dodged and hit him in the back without him knowing shows that his body picked a spot to hit him based on pure instinct, INSTANTLY. Meaning his body instinctively thought of the best spot to move/ strike just to deal the most damage.

The Kamehameha is not a magic incantation, it’s the name of the move/technique like a lot of the other moves in the anime. The normal move usually has to have a period of time to charge up the energy/power. That’s when you get the “Ka-Me-Ha-Ma-Ha”. But when he is jacked up with power, he does not need the time to build it up. He can just fire it off, powerfully, with a “Ha!”
@@ghostplague3610 the UI rage scene after Jiren tries to blow up the stands feels wrong. The jump in framerate makes it feel extremely unnatural on top of being hard to follow. I hope that they avoid doing that again. Everything else was fine animation-wise.
the kamehameha is a very versatile move, it can be fired from the hands, feet, one handed, etc. so yes it was a kamehameha just like a quick fire version
The thing about kamehameha is that its basically gathering the ki to one point of your body and releasing it all at once. Whoever watched OGDB knows this. So technically a kamehameha could be launched from any part of the body, even from the eyes or ones forehead. There is still the OG kamehameha which has the same hand positions and the usually but the legs are spread apart as bit and in a crouching position.

Still better then hearing the same backstory over and over again mid fight or when the main character gonna lose. This is one of the reason why i can rewatch dragon ball again and again.
To be honest, dbz is one of those shows where sure it'll be good to have under your belt as one that youve watched, but you dont necessarily have to watch all the way through to know whats going on. You can still watch the fights and find enjoyment, like you're doing here
@@solacenmute4840Bro, DB is pretty much an entirely different show. Son Goku was just an itty bitty guy that knew how to throw a punch and be so innocently sweet. Also he could turn into an ape. They kinda ditched that aspect of the Saiyans now, though. Which is a bit sad, because I think it would be a bit funny to have a blue ape rampaging around throwing hands with the gods.

Goku and Jiren had the same “type” of aura. It’s godly, Jiren because he surpassed the gods and goku because he is using the ultimate technique of the angels. Also, Krillin was a rival of goku when they were young and tien was a enemy.

Remember that every episode is technically around 25 seconds in real time, the tournament was 48 minutes anime time, with some math wnd stuff, each episode is 25 seconds real time, just imagine how fast the fight would be

Old dragon ball is definitely worth the watch! It focuses a lot more on story and character development in combination of great fights with moral and philosophical themes! Thats what started dragon ball! I’m gonna watch and like every single reaction❤️♥️

Also, Frieza killed Krillin, I don’t remember if Piccolo’s wound was fatal or not, all I remember is when Goku snapped Gohan picked up Piccolo and escorted him away from the fight, Frieza killed all Namekians (via Frieza force) except from Nail, and Goku tried showing Frieza mercy even though he knew Frieza won’t play nice no matter what, but Frieza stupidly attacked Goku and Goku “killed” Frieza, and Frieza was reassembled by captain cold’s crew, which I guess also doubles as Frieza Force as well? Idk, but end of story is Trunks slices Frieza into pieces and obliterates them.
The way how it all came together, goku just being angelic, the gods standing up, beerus knowing he has been surpassed, whooping jiren without lifting a finger. Bro, full shivers when I saw it for the first time and still when I come back to it.
The kamaehamaeha goku fired when he was mad is called the Angry KAMEHAMEHA. No need to say the word, he’s so pissed that he doesn’t even need to say it.
Krillin was Goku's first friend his own age, and they became best friends training under Master Roshi when they were like 12 and 13 years old. Also Vegeta used to be a villain who became obsessed with the fact that Goku always could surpass him, but then he saw that Goku was a family man and he became one himself when he settled on Earth. Vegeta actually has one of the best character arcs in all of Dragon Ball. In Dragon Ball Super Goku and Vegeta are basically training partners under Beerus and Whis. Whis is an angel and they are basically guardians of the universes. The angel of each universe is more powerful than the Kais and Gods of Destruction, but they serve the Kais and Gods of Destruction and aren't allowed to interfere directly.

Saying the name is basically like charging up an attack or warming up, but your able to blast out any sort of energy you have stored which is why you're able to release it all in one blow like what Goku just did here (Fun Fact) 😋
In the 26:53 it indeed was a kamehameha. It's just that Goku when in ultra instinct ain't talkin' anymore because He's focused on his enemy and the fight instead of talkin' :)
Also, Krillin wasn't really an "enemy". Mostly just a rival, and in the very beginning, Krillin was a bit of a snot nosed bastard, snarky and just a bit of cheater. Tien on the other hand, was one of Goku's first REAL threats. Tien was the prodigious trainee of the Crane School, who's master hated Roshi and the Turtle School. Chiaotzu is also from the Crane School, having trained alongside Tien. The Crane school was far more ruthless, and generally evil in their actions and outlook. At the end of their arc, Tien and Goku are actually equal powers, to the point that the deciding factor of the tournament was that, while they were both falling to earth unconscious, Goku hit a truck and thus landed outside of the ring first. Tien actually has one of the better character arcs of the side cast, having gone from a cruel, egotistical, and power hungry asshole, to questioning himself, and being entrusted with training future people because of the potential for good and greatness that Roshi saw in him. During their last fight of the arc(Goku and Tien), they're no longer really enemies. They're just two warriors who want to see how strong the other person possibly is, and they become friends afterwards, coming to respect eachother. Also, in short, Yamcha was originally a bandit that tried to rob Goku and Bulma in a desert, and Piccolo is actually "Piccolo Jr" as he is the son of King Piccolo, who Goku had killed just before his birth. Piccolo was basically coded with revenge on his mind from birth, but over a lengthy period, grows friendly with the Son family (especially thanks to his bond he develops with Gohan... after kidnapping him to train him)
If you watch the first two movies you can skip the first 28 episodes I believe since they pretty much just covered both those movies. After that it’s all of super, and then the Broly movie. There’s rumors about the anime coming back soon since the manga has gone ahead and now has 2 other arcs after the tournament. Where as before, the manga was behind the anime.
I think goku reached such a high level of badassery that he didn't even need to say Kamehameha when he almost had Jiren. I call it the Ultra silent Kamehameha

I highly recomend you watch DBZ on or off camera (Preferably DBZ Kai since its shorter) it will make watching Super a much better experience since some stuff you wont understand without watching it .
