IMO, your rants are cathartic. You're one of the most positive people in Snap, so when you rant about the game's problems, it feels justified. Also, you basically said the same thing about the IGN presentation last year. They just had slides talking about the new Conquest mode, but nothing interesting to show for it. It feels like it could have just been an announcement on their website.

I really like this rant because it reminded me that when the game was released I got so many ads for it that I got extremely annoyed and started ignoring everything about the game but then a few months later I ended up watching a bit of gameplay cuz a streamer I like was playing and I instantly fell in love with it and I've been paying ever since, There's definitely more people out there like me that would love this game if only they saw what it actually is

Every 9 cashes guarantee 1 100 token bundle 2 Gold Tickets (or Series 3 cards if not series 3 complete) 3 Credit bundles (150 or 200) 3 Cosmetics I’ve been playing since March so the high of chasing new series 3 cards is still there for me, but once they’re gone it’s just gonna be barely worth it anymore. 100 tokens a week is absurd, that’s a new series 5 card every 60 weeks. A joke

Am I crazy for thinking that 2,100 collector tokens (essentially 1/3 of a proper card) is a ridiculously low amount of credits for 100 boxes??? I have to open 300 boxes before I can buy a card that I missed from a spotlight cache?

Regis, you can randomize your card backs and avatars, just make them all your favourites. When you have multiple favourites, it just randomizes from those to make your deck back/avatar

Its unfortunate that you feel the need to rant about Snap but everything you said is true and what seems to be what a majority of the fan base is feeling at the moment. Snap os truely is an amazing game. I just wish they figure out how to stop alienating their fans with these monetary decisions.

Symbiote spider-man is another "multiverse" type character that is separate from Peter Parker getting the venom symbiote, so it follows the line of logic of a distinct character getting a card.

It's clear that some titles are directed toward certain playgroups and some titles aren't. If you open a title why wouldn't marvel snap let you get to choose from 3? It would make the collector reserve more interactive and the titles more fun

Honestly credits feel bad to open but if you didn't pull them as often as you did you would get Spotlight Keys WAY slower. Obviously you could fix this by making keys show up more often on top of removing credits though.

By the way you could have filtered the all the pixel by just searching "pixel" in the filter search bar. Also works for other variant artist like "Hipp" or "Momoko"

After 100 reserves (that is, aprox 290 collection levels), you got 2100 tokens, so that's 1/3rd of the way to a new card... yay!

I'm with you on the variants. I don't really care much for variants 🙄 if I could get ink for all my base cards, let's do it! But that wouldn't take away from having the perfect deck and to watch how cards work together! That's satisfaction for me!!

I’ve collected over 300 of these things since the change. Doubt it will ever be good again but every time I watch these kind of opening videos, I’m reminded that there’s no real loss for me by never opening them.

You have to remember that many of us are grinding out keys and the more credits you can get, the faster you get up the track in order to get to the next key. Honestly, at this point, the only thing I want out of the reserves are credits.

I for one am so glad they are gonna do variants of characters maybe I’ll eventually get my superior Spider-Man dream card I didn’t even think of that aspect of the presentation but you’re totally right, i agree with the majority of the community that snap needs some new marketing heads, cozy said if they let him and some other creators make a presentation it’d be way better and I could totally see that You have the iron man it’s just an inked variant 💀😭

I completely agree with you, I love playing the game but the progression system so much. I hate how slowly you get collector's tokens, I hate how many of the collector's stash rewards feel completely useless, and I hate how if you miss a single new card it'll take months for you to get it, and above all I hate how all of the issues I mentioned could be solved by the game being just slightly less greedy and aggressive with its monetization

The Maximus Pixel looks great not just because of the lack of the black outline - it actually has depth! It basically looks like they've rendered a 3D model in pixel art (something like they did in Dead Cells if anyone is familiar with that game) and it looks really good!

I feel like if more content creators made an issue out of it, it could possibly put pressure on the developers to change their terrible systems, even if unlikely at first. keep up the great videos as always!

As a returning player who doesn't even have half the series 3 cards (collection level 1039 or something). I'm still very underwhelmed and annoyed with how long it takes to get new cards.

Yeah I only care about conquest if I like the variant you get for purchases... but then Im like "UGH now I gotta do at least a little conquest." so it still is a chore. One month I actually used all my tickets and just conceded to help others out on their last minute conquesting... and that was a better conversion rate than letting the tickets rot, but even that took too much time.

I remember the cache drops used to be better a while back. Now it gives too much junk not enough variants. To compensate they should at least add a chance to get series 4 cards.

I have never seen that Dan Hipp Aero Card. She has great variants. I can definitely see them create a Symbiote Spiderman since he is one of the most popular characters. At some point I could see multiverse variants as well. Especially for some of the most popular characters. What characters do you think the game is really missing? I would like to see Spot, AIM Agents, and SHIELD agents.

I’m a newer player and I barely even have any series 3 cards. I’m here getting the collectors reserves just wanting cards, but I get tiny bits of currency, variants, or portraits. I just want some new cards to play with.

Unpopular opinion, I LOVE the pixel avatars, something about them makes it way funnier to beat people with them. Bonus points since I have 3 infinity pixel acatars

If you're not into pixel or Dan Hipp, it's pretty hard to get cool variants in this game through collectors caches

I had a really cool title that I liked. It said "" which I found quite funny so I was using it a lot. But then an update came and it turned out it was actually a bug and now it says "Sunburnt ALL Over". The one time I'm excited about a title it's a bug. 😂

As far as credits, i firmly believe they need to make it to where you get credits after each game. 10 if you lose, 25 if you win. Sure, theyd have to redo the whole collection track, but at this point, it NEEDS to be redone

I really appreciate your criticism of them only focusing on the menus and side content. I think the only time that consistently doesn't happen is when a game dev is a part of the promotion. It really comes across as very cynical and oblivious to their audience.

I save up all my Orange boxes for a drop of cards from 5 to 4 and 4 to 3 (not a thing you would need worry about as you need to get all the cards date of release) I save up enought I am sure to get all the new 3 rank cards.

I have 144 reserves to open. I refuse. to open them unless I need gold tickets. my first 2 reserves this season were gold tickets. I haven't opened any more reserves this season. don't want or need any more titles anyway

I 100% agree with your point about too much focus on systems instead of gameplay. I think people would have been disappointed with the IGN announcement regardless due to people watching the stream only for it not to appear, but I think the packaging of the announcements was all wrong. Instead of leading with the elimination of character mastery, why not show Deadpool's Diner in action? Not only does it offer a free card, but it sounds like a fresh approach to the game. And with so many people excited for Deadpool v Wolverine next month, I was surprised they didn't infuse Deadpool's personality more into the presentation.

My tickets rot as well. I'm not okay with Spiderman symbiote being it's own card especially when there are characters such as Spot and Prowler from the movies...heck even throw in Spike from the xmen anime.

Hey Regis, you were mentioning playing hades about mid-way through the video and I would personally LOVE to see you play variety games! I understand you probably have a very busy schedule but maybe if you made a second channel with other video games (maybe unedited gameplay or something) I would be incredibly onboard, and I bet a lot of your viewership would be too.

I never comment, but I have to share my experience lately. I saved two spotlight reserves for this week hoping to get Sersi because she looks like a fun and wild card. I opened both my crates and got miek (a card I didn’t have) and the phoenix force variant. I grinded out the whole week for one more shot and I managed to score one more crate. I open it only to get miek. Not the variant, the card itself that I had gotten in the exact same week. It immediately got converted to tokens. How is this the incentive they push for us to want to grind out each week and push to get a full collection when things like that can happen? There’s plenty of cards I don’t have and SD can’t even guarantee that I won’t be pulling the same card twice in a week with something I have to use my entire week to get? It makes me just want to quit because I know I can’t get all the cards as a f2p.

I mean, we have talked about this predatory system since the game was released. Imo this is one of the most predatory and unenjoyable progresion systems i've ever played. Its like, ok i know you can make a heavy predatory game progresion mechanic but at the very least make me feel im geting cool shit, like manipulate me psichologycally and all that bullshit to feel acomplishment but even when spending heavy amounts of money/time i feel like crap, like shit i dont even have a decent advancement even throwing lots of cash or grinding. In the end it makes me feel like fuck this shiet im out and now you lose my constant flow of money.

Guys , don't you think that 100 tokens is too less and because I don't like contest too and when I got golden ticket if i could exchange it I will do it right away . What do you think ?
