I Ordered a CHANDELIER Wedding Cake From 1 vs. 5 STAR BAKERY 

I did not expect the 5 star cake to be THIS perfect

This is still my favourite series, and handdrawing is definitely more fun. Plus your drawing style is very cute, children's book worthy.

Wow, the first bakery did an amazing job. For the second, I guess lemon and lavender made them think of Italy so they went for a leaning tower of Pisa look 😀They need to have a look at the Cake Rescue series from How to cook that, that would be pretty helpful.

$500 for that cake… feels like you won! That’s kinda on the cheaper side for that beautiful cake!

I actually covered my eyes when Raphael sat on the chandelier, thought that was going to end in disaster and he would end up with bits of chandelier in places it should never go! The five star cake was amazing, we will just forget about that other one. Great vid, thankyou.

Imagine this is your wedding day... so yeah, this was my wedding day experience. The cake we ordered tasted amazing, but the top two tiers slid off while they were setting it up and they had to partially re-frost and re-pipe on it. The cake itself inside was fine, but they definitely didn't think through structure and their rush to present something caused us to end up with something that looked like a child frosted it.

I think you should do some viewer submitted designs for this series. I bet your fans could come up with some interesting cake challenges. Or partner with Moriah Elizabeth and have a 1star and a 5 star try and recreate some of her food squishie designs.

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time....that second cake. 350 dollars!! They would be sued if that was an actual wedding day cake.

I'm crying happy tears for you! The five star cake is literal perfection. The bakery definitely deserve their rating and the staff deserve to be exceptionally proud of themselves for upholding the customer's vision to above and beyond expectations.

The last half of your video pretty much demonstrates how my day goes some days. You order a lemon lavender cake and they give you a vanilla flavored cake, half tipped over, until it eventually falls on the floor. But I loved the video just the same 🙂.

So happy to see these back! I love the cake series! I learned the hard way that a cake with more than one tier cannot be too moist. It has to be able to hold weight. Yes you will be putting in dowels for stability, but if the cake is too moist it will do what you saw today. I was kinda bummed at the cakes bc years ago on Ace of Cakes I saw Duff actually make these cakes that hang from the ceiling and have things hanging from the cakes itself almost like a chandelier. He could have actually done an all edible one. However, it would have been insane cost wise.

I was thinking about the base. A clear lucite table with clear legs to hold the cake with beaded strands under it as the chandelier. More stable to use a table. Very interesting experiment! I had a homemade chocolate tier wedding cake and it had reusable plastic tier rods not dowels. The top layer should be saved for the couple to wrap up and freeze to have on their 1st anniversary!

Cake pops is a terrific idea. Freeze them for Christmas dessert treats. Really fun video, expensive but really fun thank you and Merry Christmas.

I don't normally comment on videos but I love watching your videos. One of my passions is baking and we have been trying to open a bakery. Things have been moving slow. First we did not have much time to work on it then the place we worked at got hit by a drunk driver and burned down so now we have no money.
