You keep saying stuff like "Imagine me making good RU-vid videos" but your videos are GREAT and underrated. You invested thousands into just one video and even plated the dishes and made some of the plating elements yourself! The effort is amazing.

The treats that the brothers eat in Brave are actually Scottish Empire Biscuits. I think you might like that better than the dried fruit bun. It’s made up of two shortbread cookies with jam in the center , white icing and a glacé cherry on top.

so disappointed that the chef made cake pops instead of a sorbet for the yellow snow dish but that's obviously not your fault, it was an amazing video idea !! thanks for always bringing a smile to my face during hard times

The dish from the Ratatouille movie is actually called a 'tian provençal' and is a southern French dish from Provence. It's literally a dish of vegetables originally cooked in a tian, which is a sort of pan. It's similar to ratatouille but it is definitely not the same dish. The movie just didn't bother using the actual name, and now everyone seems to think it's a bougie version of ratatouille while it's simply a whole other dish!

The pasta dish from Luca is a real dish here in Italy! It's delicious, I love you Rapha, you're awesome!

I’d seriously LOVE to hear the conversations in these chefs’ kitchens when they get Raphael’s orders. Chef: “He wants me to cook a gourmet carrot on a stick…” Sous chef: “… what?” Chef: “LOOK! A CARROT ON A STICK!” Sous chef: “…” Chef: “…” Sous chef: “I heard he asked Martonelli to make pesto.” Chef: “$%#@!!!”

"These dishes don't exist" Me thinking...."but Ratatouille does, the cake does and pesto pasta" 😂 my mum makes pesto pasta but I'm pretty sure the majority of these are real 😂

The broccoli pizza is likely a nod to Cheeseboard Collective in Berkeley, CA. They only serve vegetarian pizza and only cook one flavor of pizza per day (their website has a schedule of flavors). The pizzas are not typically vegan as they are popular for sourcing gourmet cheeses. They also have a sourdough pizza crust and are willing to give you free sourdough starter! Pixar HQ is in Emeryville, CA which is right next to Berkeley. The Pixar artists often include easter eggs referencing local life. For example Fenton’s creamery in Oakland, CA had a brief appearance in Up.

You should do this concept but with Studio Ghibli films. The food in Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro always looked so good to me.

Ratatouille is actually a real dish though, at least here, I've personally made it for my family before. It's a perfect PKU friendly meal.

This is the first of your videos I'm watching. I'm a professionally trained cook. I would recommend finding a great cook or chef that you could feature in your vids. I think your input would be valuable during the creative process. Some of these chefs either didn't understand the assignment or had no problem ripping you off. Much love to you. Fresh Pesto is incredibly easy to make, you should try it. It smells heavenly and tastes like even better. Sometimes I make it with walnuts, which is really good too.

Ratatouille is a real dish. It is actually a poor man's dish. The beauty of the movie Ratatouille is that A. They made the chef a rat which is a lovely little play on words imo. And B. He turns a poor man's dish into something that impresses the toughest critic in a fancy restaurant. Very clever because not only is the rat classing up the under appreciated dish but also the movie is classing up a perhaps under appreciated animal. Pixar is always impressive with the depth and layers they sculpt their movies with. They are truly works of art. This was an neat idea! I do wonder where you get your spending cash and if you would like to adopt me. I am house trained and mostly well behaved! LoL

I think the artificial cheese flavor you like so much is nutritional yeast. I'm not vegan so I'm not sure, but I've seen it used in a lot of vegan cheese recipes.

Ratatouille are definitely some of the most watched favorite pixar animations along with toy story for sure💙👀. Ralph really doesn't like anything fruitcake with raisins or dried fruits. People from the Caribbean Island will be like give Ralph a slice of black fruit cake the way we make it and see if that doesn't change his mind 😁
