I really enjoyed the 2nd one and I thought the first one was cool 2. I would say most others agree that the 3rd one was less “editing” and more “cutting” though.

First two were more edits than montage. I would say the 3rd one was more of an actual montage because you can watch the clips. But still first two were very good.

Personally if I paid $100 for something like the 3rd one I’d be pissed. Overall it wasn’t interesting besides the clips being good. The sync was off by a lot in some spots and just seemed low effort to me

3rd one shows the whole fight rather than just the kill shot, which gives you the feel of a tense fight and packed action. first 2 feel like they're just doing that for syncing. if you have some real good clips you should def go for the 3rd one to show off your 1v3 skills. otherwise go for first 2 to make your fights looks less pathetic

Those small stutter syncs are tedious process I give props to bro for spending hours in a program for that 50$ giving people more what they paid for so word gets around he does fire edits for the low.. great marketing strat Smart man 💯🤯

@@Hennsational 100$ for good pacing bruh sure it was great if those were his own clips but editor claiming so much and producing an edit even i can do i mean i do editing just for fun not a pro but that is not 100$ worthy maybe it is relaxing. I have seen so many of such videos and the most expensive one is the most disappointing one.

i enjoyed the first one the most. agree with some of the people where the second had too many slowmo edits just to match the beat. third one was just a regular montage thats, i feel like Ottr could have done that one himself and not pay anyone to do that kind of edit.

A lot of effort went into the first 2, and they certainly have good skills. For me personally though, I prefer the last one as you could actually see gameplay. Some people are calling it a scam but I think they don't really appreciate the amount of work that goes into video editing. I guess it depends on what sort of hourly rate is acceptable. Good effort all around regardless!

If that is worth a 100 bucks then I don’t know anymore, 8 minutes of clips with some ok transitions. Video editing requires skill but there was little shown in that. I could do that if I had some time and I’m a complete novice. Not trying to bash on his work but charging 100 bucks is too steep

But the first 2 you cannot even see half the shots land... And all the effects take away from showing ottrs actual skill, having all those choppy scenes looked dumb, the fact that you need those effects to show your "skill" doesn't make the clip look any better. I enjoyed the 3rd which was a lot cleaner and easy to see him 1 clip ppl or hit his no scopes without all the jittery bs...

I like the last one the most. The guy has an eye for his work. The clips and music where kinda on point without playing so much with slowmo. It was a bit long but for me nice to watch. For the first two vids I'm may to old to get this freaky deaky shiny thing :D

First and 2nd were pretty dope for a quick watch on some great kills with flashy editing effects but the 3rd was just the better because it was mainly focused on kills and gameplay.

I think that there can't really be a winner because they are all great in their own ways. Because the second was definitely the coolest in terms of editing and effects, meanwhile the third really lets you watch and appreciate the clips, then there is the first one which is really a mix of both and a good bang for your buck. So I overall just think it comes down to your personal preference in montages.

i liked them all but 3rd was the most pleasant to watch, perfect balance for me between gameplay footage and editing (just abit too long maybe). 2nd was to much editing, rly cool but too much going on. 1st one was also pleasant to watch. But all 3 are rly good editors, it all comes down to preference i guess

i think all 3 were equally great. there are different editing styles and not all of them need crazy transitions to be high and good quality. sometimes having just raw gameplay with a transition inbetween clips is what youll want and i think it really works well for the editor and i can see why they are the top rated. absolutely amazing on all parts. also, that first one absolutely needs more rates and deserves more for that effort and insane amount of skill.

All of them had lots of skill and effort put in so great job editors! My personal preference though is the last one because it didn't go too crazy with the effects and filters. I like montages where it's true to the gameplay, and for good players such as yourself I want to be able to see everything clearly. The only thing I'd change with the last one was maybe cutting more of the looting and healing to keep it flowing a bit better. But yeah, montages are always better when it keeps the gameplay as the focus rather than the editing.

The third one was def my favourite because it showed off ottrs gameplay the best, which is what a montage should be IMO. However I do agree that the pacing could have been improved. Lots of time was spent on downtime like looting, healing, and moving on to the next enemy. If that stuff was sped up or cut out it would have been perfect

I like the 1st one a lot more. The 2nd one was good as well but the editor overdid the slo-mo effect too much I know this because I edit videos as a hobby and using the same effect for 3 min doesn't really convey a story.

the last one is pretty terrible imo, it pretty much just used the clips without any further edits or any flare to it at all, it just transitions to the next clip and boom, there's your montage. The 50 dollar one has more bang for your buck, massive props to the 2nd editor.

the first and second have a similar vibe, i prefer the first, but the effects are a bit over worked in the second especially, blurring the colours and gameplay, but some really dope effects and max effort. The 100 edit is the best for me personally, from a artist perspective, simpler and clean is sometimes just better.

loving those default filmora transitions on 3. as an editor myself I prefer 1 however I'm not a fan of the ecto, so I think 2 is the best by a small margin. (all personal preference)

I think the third one was the dub on this one. features more clips, good pacing, good to the eyes. The first and second were more of an edit flex which was poggers. Smooth transitions and matching up the beat and shots.

the first 2 are meant to be visually appealing (just an edit). the last one is showing player ability (an actual montage) with minor edits here and there. depends on what you are looking for. the edits were cool and visually appealing but doesn’t take a dive into player abilty as much as it does editors ability. then the last one lacks edits sure but it actually shows the plays and why he is good. they all were great, just accomplishes different things.

The first two make the editing the highlight rather than the clips themselves. For a montage I think the third showcased the clips the best.

There might be different thoughts on this, but for me personally, I kinda perfer the last one a little bit over the first 2. The problem here is that the 3rd one with less editing and being longer than the other 2, it will be pretty boring to the viewer, but I do appreciate that I am able to see ottr's aiming skills rather than the cuts just like the first 2. In my opinion, if the 3rd one was a little shorter, and had a bit more effects added to it, it could be better. But again, that's just my opinion, I'm not stating a fact so you don't have to listen if you disagree.

The 2nd one was a BANGER. The first was very very good. The price just knocks it out of the park. BUT what the HELL was number 3?! The transitions were nice, but my man just combined different clips, put music on it, and put no effort in.

first 2 were fye, dope editing, good sync with the music, good effects, but the last one... i could make that myself in maybe like 30 minutes. just transitions and a few slo-mo. i think maybe the $25 guy doesnt know the value of his own work, and he should definitely raise his price. undervaluing yourself is something a lot of artists do sadly. good vid as always and props to all the editors :)

I feel like most montages in this style make it so you can't actually tell if the clip is impressive or not, bc you have no idea what's going on. They make it less of a game clip and more of a music video where the edits get all the attention. The last montage definitely did the best job of actually showing off the clips.

IMO I think they guy for 25 bucks is definitely worth it. Not just just price but what you actually get for the price seems more worth it to me than these guys that make "average" montages above that price range. In all honesty this guy should actually be editing for 100 dollars but the price he does it at is definitely a good selling point for him.

As an editor, i would like to say the 3rd one is definitely just a gameplay highlight, but its cost 100 dollars which is actually way too expensive, should be 10 dollars instead. From what I see its just color correction, transitions, and cutting, and music, heck i dont even think there's color correction tbh. Ottr basically got scammed, aint no way someone will pay 100 dollars for transitions and music. The 25 dollars one should be the one worth 100 dollars instead.

Thanks I hate overedited apex gameplay. I feel like the first two try to edit more instead of editing better. The third one was good, didn't keep trying to edit every second of the clip and focused on enhancing the clips instead.

2nd one is the best deal for me, the 1st was really good value for money though, 3rd one is good but it's just longer with less editing and looks like a normal montage, compared to the other ones I have to say it's either overpriced or the first two are underpriced (and i go with the 2nd option). Even though there is more editing in the first two, the last one is actually watchable. I think it's worth $100 as the guy made a very nice montage for you where we all can understand what's going on there. TBH, the second montage gave me epilepsy :D

The $25 was the best price-to-quality ratio IMO, absolutely insane for the price The $50 was astounding. The intro, the editing, EVERYTHING about it clearly shows the effort involved The $100 one was definitely less flashy, and had less editing, but it was pretty decent and it was the longest out of all of them, so that counts for something Personally my vote goes to #1, but #2 was definitely a VERY close second. You both should feel amazing about your editing skills, you're incredibly talented

Great montages, to be fair I like the 3rd best but all of em are really good, lots of people in the comments have something to say about the 3rd. However the 3rd one was a much longer video than the other 2 and the editor needing to watch a lot of videos to make em perfect, to me it justifies every penny, and I like clean gameplay vids over gimmicks. All in all, they all looked pretty good. I felt like I was watching the best apex player alive with these montages xD

The $100 vid was nice cause it showed your movement leading up to the highlights, but the 2 other vids obviously put far more effort into trimming out dead space and syncing with the music.

I should've continued editing. I used to do cod4/mw2/bo2 montages and was easily as good as the lowest cost one. Except I could track and mask 3d text in addition. Edit: the second guy $50, was way worse than first guy. The lack of gunshots destroys the whole thing for a start.

The first two look like a visual representation of an energy drink flavor while the third one comes off like a glass of soda with a fresh slice of lemon added to it. All three work in their own ways but I think I prefer the „freshness“ of the third one over the overly colorful, packed with sweeteners first two

Personally I liked all of them and they weren't really given any rules anything went with there video it's super hard to say which one was. I can tell why 3 is more expensive tho.. it's longer and they kept alot of the layout which is what most twitch streamers like us want it's what brings you RU-vidrs Over lol.. amazing talents and Great clips Ottr

Music taste aside (because I didn't like any of the music presented except maybe the second song choice of the third montage was ok), I'd say that the 3rd one was my favorite hands down simply because I got to actually enjoy the fights. For a short? I would say the $30 one. I was left speechless when I realized it was only $30. I like my videos more on the side of what gooflol's Octane exe, sinalicious' Bloodhound exe, or Bottlecap's Bamboozle exe. They're all older videos but their new stuff have improved really well and the music choices (especially Bottlecap's) is gorgeous. But these lads have some great talent and I wish the best for them 😊

2nd was just to much for me. 1st you could tell they know apex more then the 3rd I believe. As 3rd did more simple cuts and left a lot of looting/healing bits. I’d like to see an edit of the clips from the 3rd done by the 1st. All great though! 1st edit wins to me. 2nd most fancy. 3rd would be how I’d edit just cutting out the down time more between shooting probably would have been my fav if they did that but I can respect the added flair edits on the others.

the best one is the second, the $100 kinda feels like the clips with music and powerpoint transitions between the clips

i can do the 3rd edit with my low premiere pro experience. it may clearly shows much things going on, but still require less effort than the 1st and 2nd video

I think that's a testament to "more isn't always better". Some of the best songs ever written were by people who could barely play their instruments while some of the most technically proficient musicians with thousands of hours of practice make the most boring music. It's gotta be a balance between technical skill and making a cohesive piece of art.
