I used fiver to settle on my design for my kitchen ,powder room and master bathroom. Once construction is done I'm going to use them again for living and dining room and master bedroom

Can you deconstruct one sofa arm to reconfigure your space with your existing sofas? It is amazing how much larger the room would look with that L-shape.

LOVE that 2nd one! Even tho it's quite black and white, it's much warmer, richer, has more interesting objects to look at....plus all the gold....YAY! So hard to go contemporary without being stark. I hate stark spaces. Too government office looking. Black n white looks like the DMV too often. Needs to be soothing to the eye.

I am so in love with those huge arched windows in your living room! The first time I saw those in earlier videos, I thought maybe you had renovated a commercial space into a home (I LOVE those types of spaces). You have mentioned, of course, that you have a condo. I enjoy seeing the evolution of your home design! Edit: Can you add some legs to your sofas? I am thinking about doing that with my double recliner, but I am not sure it will work, lol.

I don't feel like I've subscribed to you for very long, but I feel like I've seen 3 or 4 living room arrangements so far! That said, well, why not rearrange it every so often? The renderings certainly do give you a new perspective of your living space; there was some great inspiration there! I'm excited to see what you do next!

Such a great place recommendation. Thank you. I am also wanting to do an accent slat wall in my entry way just more or a natural wood tone but it would be stunning in black. Can just imagine your giant gold mirror leaning next to it or opposite it. Just imagine seeing your reflection with that as a background #goals

wow... that second design kills it..!! that entire left side of the room is an art piece all to itself..!! The slats, the marbled wall and then adding art pieces to the console... OH MY..!! (personally... too much clutter on the console itself... but that's my flavor.!) The side lights coming down from the ceiling.. perfection!! (ps., vacuuming under sofa... rumba's.!! just sayin)jo

I fauxed a white brick wall in my apartment. The first wall u see as u enter was old panelling that had warped, then had has caulking slapped into the 3D gap super randomly. The texture of the mess really helped the 'brick' look fantastic.

That’s what I thought also. The dimensions don’t match Kiva’s room. I like the slatted accent wall but there wouldn’t be that kind of space for it in her room.

Do designers make recommendations on changing the wall design, or do they only suggest furnitures and decors? Once you make a decision on a designer and their sketched style, do you use the sketch as a guide to execute the project whether on your own or with contractors?

So if the first two minutes is my starting point: Ceiling to floor drapes on the window-silk(ish...$) Mount the mirror under an awesome credenza Artwork on either side of the mirror Gallery wall on the blank wall opposite the windows. Replace the super-squishy sofa cushions with firmer (read-mattress) bases and incorporate large back cushions. AND PICK A COLOR!!! Like steel blue!

I have 6 cats. I have seen some suggestions and some of these design things that I can hear a crash in the middle of the night. Despite my best effort's. And I know there's going to be 6 slices and diced bozos and enough glass pieces to start my own labyrinth in the backyard. But they are interesting. And I got to work on my body image. There ain't no way in hell I'm going to have a mirror that big staring back at me telling me that I weigh 200 pounds and am not yet ready.

The first designer did a very.... bad job. Really bad. It is as if they did not do anything and took away everything to make this really 'take away' design/layout. The second one... much better.

Well, I guess the RH movement is OVER.....I think the look was becoming cookie cutter.....everyone wanted it.......I think people were tired of the "Bed Head" look of the sofa every time you sat on it......Vessels became over kill
