Welcome to Slayer my friend. Imagine yourself in 1986 at 16 years old listening to the entire 29 minutes of Reign in Blood...If that didn't alter your life you have no pulse. Totally fun reaction!! I'll be looking for more!
I’ve seen a few Slayer reaction videos and you’re my favorite. You clearly appreciate them the way Slayer fans appreciate them. Shit, you’re probably a Slayer fan yourself, now. How could you not be? Best of luck to you, man. Nothing but love.
Bryan Widmer always friendly though. I got my ass knocked down more times that I could count but people would always pick me right back up and I would do the same for anyone I knocked on their ass. A couple of drunktards would get out of line and we would have to set them straight. Other than that just friendly aggression. Extreme aggression!
Awesome my friend, you really need to check out another Slayer song called " Skeletons of society' or south of heaven" or Dead skin mask''. Thanks so much for the great reaction, glad you like real metal.... More megadeth to please.
@@donteare767 As a professional guitarist before, during and after,.......absolutely ! I had a chance to talk shop with him over drinks around ‘90. Another quite, intense individual.
Just Subscribed as I had to watch a few of your reactions!! My old 58 year old self is picky who I subscribe to!! Now on the subject of SLAYER!! Watched Seasons in the Abyss and about to watch this one which is from their early stuff. After Viewing This, YOU GOTTA Check out 3 videos by Slayer that tells ONE STORY!! "REPENTLESS" Is the Most Graphic and has the better riffs. HOWEVER!! To Understand the story and what's going on, You have to Watch in Chronological Order. With That being said, Here's The Order!! "YOU AGAINST YOU ", then (my favorite) "REPENTLESS", then Ending with "PRIDE IN PREJUDICE "!! You'll then you'll understand why they call these 3 video's The Killogy!!
I saw them play maybe 5 years ago for the first time. Brutal down in the pit, loved it and I’m not even a huge fan of them. We were stuffed together so tight couldn’t hardly breathe, but it was worth it.
Yankeefan93 I saw them with a bunch of other bands for Rock on the Range. Raining Blood is my favorite from them. Also like War Ensemble, Hatebreed does a nice cover of it. Megadeth was pretty badass too.
Slayers Mandatory Suicide, Spill the Blood, Repentless, & next up from the Big 4 should be Anthrax, songs Bring the Noise with Public Enemy, Belly of the Beast, Indians, Only, Room for One More, Among the Living just to name a few.
Slayer and Pantera are my favorites ...here is a list for more slayer songs : South of heaven.. Gemini.. Reign in blood.. War ensemble... Mandatory suicide... Expendable youth... Live undead ... Dead skin mask... Spill the blood... Skeletons of Society... those are all with Dave Lombardo..... Killing fields... Divine intervention... 213... Stain of mind... Love to hate... In the name of god... Threshold... War zone... Here comes the pain... Payback... are all songs with Paul Bostaph... that’s just some to get u started
Good video pick as it has all 4 original members. Sadly, as others have stated, Jeff Hanneman passed away. But afterwards (with replacement guitar player Gary Holt) they would play this last and in the background a huge poster would drop that read: "Jeff Hanneman The Angel Of Death!" Gone but never forgotten!
Seen slayer live three times and had to visit the hospital with a cracked rib after the last one. Amazing live band. South of heaven and dead skin mask are two of their more melodic pieces worth checking out. You should also check out fear factory, Megadeath, five finger death punch....the "metal" genre has soooo much amazing work....welcome to the metal rabbit hole
Dave Lom-bar-dough -- (might sound like 'Lum") someone describes this song below, and it's amazing. I started with this album from 86'. Love it, but the next one showed more/different talents they have. It was competition with Megadeth, Metallica and Anthrax that year. It's like Speed metal, thrash metal, Death metal combo's. In 88' they have next album South Of Heavern with: "Behind The Crooked Cross" -- "Read Between The Lies" -- "Ghosts of War" just a great one...
Hey dude. Thanx for all the Slayer. My name is Josh, try some Megadeth!!! Anything off of Countdown to Extinction or Rust in Peace especially "Holy Wars" or "Lucretia"
I'm always impressed that you come into different types of music with no "preconceived notions." You're definitely in the minority (myself as well) with that...much respect to ya for doing so. I tell young people to listen to every bit of music they can get their hands on, regardless of what "type" of music it is, and odds are they'll be pleasantly surprised at themselves for what they end up liking.
Dave Lom bar do he is Cuban and Tom Araya is Chilean if I remember right. Dave was my favorite drummer after John Bonham( Lex Zeppelin) until Lamb of God came out and I heard Chris.
I do love me some SLAYER as someone whose first pit was SLAYER at 13 years old. But if your taking requests for new music may I suggest Cassie Eats Cockroaches by Acid Bath. You know what SLAYER is best for right... grab your SO up and just try to keep up with that set of drums at full speed. A lot of places have banned moshing so that the snowflakes don't get hurt these days, the second most fun thing you can do to relieve that level of stress is going down to the junk yard and slipping them a $20 to pre-smash a car they are going to crush. Take a handful of friends and just go full out on the thing. The guys at the junkyard used to think it was most amusing.
Bro I sent you a few days ago 2 links in facebook for the same song official video and live repentless.. One song from them last album.... You already know 3 from the big 4 bro. Now still to know anthrax bro... Don t forget live link from the exploited...
The song that makes me pass out is, SLEEP -Dope Smoker. It's 52 minutes long, and I call it the 420 Challenge. Listen to Dope Smoker while smoking the good stuff, and stay awake. Simple, right? 😆😆😆😆😆 Good luck.
OBTW, To Add to my last comment. Please also pay attention to the lyrical content as in the Rock genre, most tunes tell a story, rehashes history, and can educate people to think outside the Box, especially if you listen to bands like TOOL. This song about the Atrocities of the Third Reich!! The lyrics are also an instrument!!
So you're in for the groove... Ok, are you up for an experiment? Nevermind the subjects these songs are treating, focus on the music. Would you (ever) think to try either ...Cannibal Corpse with Evisceration Plague or... Evocation with Condemned to the Grave. They're both death metal bands so brace-yourself if you don't know anything about the genre.
he's screaming at you like that , because the song is a bout a sick Nazi Doctor during world war 2 that did horrid inhuman experiments on jewish prisoners as Awzswitch (probably misspelled that).
