Excellent vid…. I drive a 70 plate custom ltd take it down to southern Spain. Comfortable and effortlessly. I prefer manual over the auto. It’s incredibly forgiving. Great towing van too. Not done the fancy seats 😂 whoops sorry.. they look fantastic. Enjoy your van….a joy to own

You can check the adblue exact miles left in the tank by selecting on the steering wheel settings on screen find maintenance's and it will show adblue and or tyre pressure sensor etc.

Not bad mate , always loved the transit , just keep the maintenance schedule, and check the wheel joins and rods every 12k they can fail if your bumping curbs to park out of traffic

Love your van. What make is the reversing camera kit?

Be careful of those tyres, like most aftermarket installs you probably have illegal tyres fitted due to being much under rated to the original factory fitted tyres. I'm guessing they are load rating 99 = 775kg per corner = 1550kg per axle. You have a axle rating on that van of 1760kg front & 2050kg rear that's a huge 500kg under if you fully load up the rear of your van. You tyre weight rating must be the same or exceed original fitted specification. OK as long as you don't have a crash and they look at your tyres!!!

Excellent detailed video, really enjoyed it. Going to do very similar upgrades on my Transit soon. Just a tip to protect the alloy rims, you can buy tires that have rim protection ( they are designed to stick out over the rim) not much more expensive and they work brilliantly.

Nice van. Euro 6 is an emissions standard not engine. Add blue has nothing to do with the engine or efficiency. It gets squirted into the exhaust to make the harmful diesel particels stick together so they're then heavier, so less airborne, improving air quality. Hope that helps.

Did you sort the creaky doors? Both my rear doors did that on my 2021 model and it drove me mad for months. Then I sprayed loads of silicone lubricant over and under all the door rubbers and that sorted it completely.

If you lift the armrest all the way up, it should reset itself and you can then select what height you would like it at.

Yes they are great vans but I find there are multiple problems with media head unit. Ford keeps saying it's software up date problems. This never fixes the problems, do you also have problems involving the unit?

Nice van mate, i have 2017 msport and thinking of doing the same as you next time rather than spending stupid money on the msport, i did the same with my wheels. I had my locks done and insurance said the same no discount. Do yourself a favour and check the wetbelt every 60.000miles as it will start to delaminate and if it breaks up quite a lot you risk seizing the engine and they will cost about £ 5000 fitted recon. Or replace belts regular at a cost of £1500 there is a hidden charging point in the rear compartment all the wires are there just need to ad a cigarette lighter to, i did mine in 1/2 hr, easy. its in the rear drivers side under the light cluster. Look up on youtube couple of guys showing how its done.

From a practically point Those back door check straps are such a stupid design and a step backwards. They get in the way when anything is leant against the side of van , you can fold the back and clip In to door but the second the door is Shut it pops loose and because it’s spring loaded it’ll swings out and will dent damage whatever’s leaning against the side such and a door. Another gripe is the rubber seal at the bottom that catch’s all the detritus- they should have done something similar to the old mk7 transit

I like the look of Ford Custom Vans but by reports from other owners, the paint is absolute rubbish easily chipping etc.

Nice van, trouble is when fellas like you pull up to a job in pimped up vans all the customer thinks is top doller prices and getting ripped off. Why cant so called tradesmen just drive normal vans instead of looking like old American rejects. I still have my old mk6 transit, looked after and does the job. Never had a snide remark about how much I mark up to allow to buy toys like that. You buy vans like that and your asking for trouble.
