Here we love players like you. You are aggressive, get up a good amount, and turn into a Bluff Monster. Always giving back the profit and so much more.
Going well right up to the LAST Hand! 😂 For Future Reference Just FOLD and leave with a PROPHET! TAKE THE $$MONEY$$ AND RUN LEX! ATTEMPTING A PUNT WHEN YOU COULD HAVE WON MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER! SCREW THE STREAMS! GET UP AND GO! Paul in Pompano Beach FL! Looking forward to your Next VLOG!
Your vlogs are great as is your upward trajectory in the game, but I saw the session differently to your post game analysis. I saw it as you going on a form of winner's tilt after winning that huge pot early. Plus the float OOP with KQo was awful and ended up costing you 10K. It's great for sure to have a positive attitude and it's got you where you are today, but it's also good to be honest with yourself sometimes, if you've botched up a session, which I think you did. I get that you want to play exciting, aggressive poker, but if you get too carried away with that as your primary objective, and don't choose the correct spots to do it in, then this kind of session, and worse, may well happen. gl
pretty much what i wrote before reading this comment.. objective as a pro poker player and how u make a living is to WIN Win WIN MONEY!!! not to entertain other people
Yes Lex changed up his game, bumped up his VPIP. But literally punted 30K away late sesh. Don’t know if this is a good idea, yeah play “exciting poker, get livestream invites, lose 💰 “ aka Airball. Think Lex play was fine, but should’ve relied on table read vs GTO especially late sesh. Asaf, Greg, Li aren’t the types to running big river bluffs on. Vs Alec, Hunter, Toby, Todd bluff away.
Very inspirational how far you have comed Lex. Your ability to grind in life and just keep going whether that is poker, youtube, exercise or other stuff is for sure something for people to look up to👊
There is nit poker on one side and exciting “action” poker on the other- I’d like to be somewhere in the middle. Your style is good for the game, good for a live stream and good for RU-vid videos, but not as good for banking a consistent profit. If you’re going to play poker for a living profit should be a higher consideration than being regarded as exciting. Very much enjoy watching your videos, your commentary/delivery are excellent.
I’m happy and proud of you and your growth bro. I’ve been watching you for a while since the days I was trucking and even played with you on a 2/5 at Jacksonville where I was wondering if you were Lexo and you were like, why don’t I just ask you. Keep pushing, love your content
Show it to him! You show him what you did! LOL 🤣 Great video Lex starts with a bang and just keeps going! What a crazy roller coaster. Thanks for sharing it all!!!
GG Lexo! I remember watching an old school phil galfond blue fire poker vid about a move he called the triple deke. It was like your A9 hand, you bet medium, medium, bomb river and their hand is sort of face up, they have a pair and don’t want the smoke. Also, shout out new sponsor, Dawn dish soap!
Well done getting away from that flush vs full house, Incredible lay down. But don't worry about playing exciting poker, just play good poker and we will continue to watch.❤
hey lex .. i am a big fan and been following your journey. i did watch your outro and your explanation of why you are playing this style and for content and excitement for others etc etc.. however being a professional poker player the only goal should be to WIN money ... and win as much money possible...i respect you want to entertain but your youtube channel and fans should be secondary to your actual profession. Not being critical but just want to maybe shed some light with that and make u think about it. People like you and respect you and your game already and you worked hard to get there. Keep the entertainment secondary is all im say and the point im trying to hammer home man!. Good luck at the tables.
Great fold on the 2nd nut flush to j-10 boat. That is a leak I identified in my game last year, calling down after the bet on the flop and then the re-raise on the river. At the stakes I play, that's never a bluff 👏
That 2nd hand where the player folds top-top with the Ace of spades is wild! Such a fish that guy was, especially in position what a bad laydown on that flop.
I met you about a week ago at the Guitar! I told my friends my favorite poker vlogger plays here and then we went to check out the poker room and i immediately saw you lmao. What are the odds. Gz on wining that 45k pot.
Lex, bro, that’s how do it! Great snap call not worrying about the full house on the first hand You had the hand to call the all in If he has it he has it great play man
That's a tough one bluffing your profit off. I did that the other day...frustrating. But It was nice meeting you that night. I came up to you and met you before the stream. Good luck on your poker journey.
Great VLOG Lex and great play. I love the aggression and your thought process. The only thing I disagree with is that last hand - no issues with the bluff. I just think the $8K polarizes you to a huge hand or a bluff. Something like $3-3.5K seems better to me, as it could also be a thin value bet (you called the flop), giving him more reasons to fold.
It was awesome meeting you man! As advertised, you’re a great dude and you’ve taught me a lot about my game. Was sitting at the table right next to the stream table. Appreciate you for getting a selfie with me man. You’re the real deal.
Lex, this video was my friday night exactly. 3rd hand in i get Q/Q, doubled up. later on tried to pull off a 7/2 suited bluff, opponent calls after going in the tank for 2 minutes
1:58 Not sure if intentional, but you asking Alec if he has all his big chips in front is so hilarious given his history! - even funnier cause I'm sure you as a longtime fan didn't mean it to tease him (like e.g. Doug Polk would)
Feeling that you’re playing well and leaving with profit ie wages / rent money are poles apart ! But kudos to you for trying and thanks for the honesty gl and keep the vlogs coming
Nice win against Alec Lex! Sorry the rest of the game didn't go as well. I think a turn bet against Li before your river bet might have got the job done, but oh well...
