I don't, I actually like when people take it seriously too. Not defying for the sake of defying or for "entertainment", but when you actually want to. He say to the narrator "am sorry" but he's not really sorry. He doesn't care what the narrator is saying at all, he is not even really listening, he is just doing his own thing, he just wants to defy the narrator for the lols. I couldn't watch him play this for more than 20 minutes, am sorry
That the freedom ending is only achieved by staring at a monitor, following instructions of what buttons to push and for how long, and that Stanley is happy in this, just like he was for his entire office worker life...this game is nearly pure satire but that's one of my more liked bits of writing in it.
Stanley is a representation of a gamer: look at him, pushing buttons, doing whatever he is told by the game. The more time a gamer spends on the game, the more he forgets which one is the real life. In a game each path has been created for you in advance and you can restart the game, so dead becomes meaningless. Of course, the Stanley parable only conveys this message once you have been playing for about 4 hours.
Here is all the endings if you want to watch them. (SAM PLEASE CONTINUE PLAYING THE GAME THERE ARE STILL MORE ENDINGS PLEASEEE) 16:14 Real Ending 22:44 Insane Ending 28:55 Crushed Ending 37:36 Countdown Ending 41:35 Freedom Ending 57:19 Skip Button Ending 1:16:51 Cold Feet Ending 1:21:10 Intervention Ending 1:26:43 No Buckets Ending 1:35:14 Real Person Ending (Bucket) 1:47:31 Bucket Tape Ending 1:51:36 Bucket Apartment Ending 2:01:49 Confusion Ending 2:05:30 Zending Ending 2:10:25 Wife Ending 2:20:24 Games Ending 2:28:56 Figures Ending

Hello, my name is C-Jay C J A Y Brief synopsis of my joke: This joke is about 2 well known characters in the media, Batman and Robin. In the joke, I (the comedian) asks you (the listener) what popular media character, Batman, said to his sidekick, Robin, right before they got into Batman’s known vehicle of choice, the Batmobile. As it turns out, Batman will say, “Get in the Batmobile, Robin” to Robin, his sidekick. This answer completely subverts the listener’s expectations. Instead of being a complex punchline about getting inside of the Batmobile, Batman just tells Robin to get inside of the batmobile. It is unexpected. This joke also takes much inspiration from the joke, “Why did the Chicken cross the road? To get to the other side!” Instead of being complex, it is simple. You are supposed to laugh after I finish saying, “Get in the Batmobile, Robin.” C J A Y Alright, now for the humor: Setup: What did Batman say to Robin before they got inside of the batmobile? Punchline: “Get in the batmobile, Robin.” I AM DONEY WITH THE FUNNY. Now for a query about the joke: What is your opinion on the joke? How was my delivery? Did it appeal to your humor senses? Is your name Benjamin, perchance? Do you know who Batman or Robin are? You can stop laughing now.

Sam, the first game at 2:16:35 is called firewatch. It's an amazing game that is really moving and is deeply rooted in reality. you should play it, i think you'd enjoy it
You didn't lose that was just an ending, of which there are A LOT and I mean it, I am talking abt the first ending. This game is just so gigantic it is crazy. Edit: and to complete the game, you would need to get every ending (that is what I think but I am not sure, there might be an end). I looked up how many endings there are, this is the answer: There are 19 endings to find in The Stanley Parable, with Ultra Deluxe including an additional 24 endings. Though it's important to note that one of the original Stanley Parable endings is not present in Ultra Deluxe. This means that the total number of endings in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is 42.
