You should defs put up the game volume and run your microphone audio through an eq/ noise reduction pass so it can sound better, but other than that great video, keep em up!

Next time you kill that dragon, you should use a golden pickled fowls foot just before you kill it to get extra runes. It’ll give you a total of 83-94k runes instead of 75k.

I did a guts build on my first run. Elden ring had dropped just after i starting getting into berserk. Made the experience so much more magical

You can talk to boc the seamster and get him to alter the chest peice to get the cape off. Another good armor set for guts is the malakith armor set but it’s very late game

Started a fresh play through as Guts. Strength specs, heavy crafting focus for bombs/knives/bolts. Vagabond is the best way to start. It doesn’t necessarily look like Guts armor, but in my opinion it absolutely gives off the exact right aesthetic of his early golden age mercenary armor. Beat up and lots of cool traveling gear on the back and belt when you alter the cape. Sure you can go get the big sword but as we know, Guts progresses through the early days and Golden age with a bit smaller sword. The actual best sword you can go get immediately is the Claymore in castle morne. You’ll easily be able to equip it and it has the FLIPPU FLIP. You can get the black key crossbow immediately from round table hold as a good early starting cross bow. Lastly you should focus on scavenging and really interacting with the crafting system. I totally neglected this on my first play through and it’s really fun to set a hard rule to avoid magic and use the crafting to replace it. Items to look out for on your playthrough as an upgrade path: Pulley Crossbow Crafting books Blaidd’s Sword Great Sword (you know the one) Zweihander (spelling?) Lions Claw ash of war Blaidd’s Armor Night Calvary Armor Maliketh Armor Jar Cannon Enjoy fellow strugglers

This kinda reminds me of my first playthrough. I wasn't guts, rather I became a wall incarnate. I went heavy into end, vigor, and str. Ended up using a great sheild and guts' sword the whole time wearing the heaviest armor possible. Ah... fun times.

I made a Guts build too while my friends all did magic and sorcery. I loved being the one to pull agro and smack the bosses with my Big Sword while they ran away from the bosses. Had the auto crossbow in my off hand to just like Guts Metal Arm

I really like this video, it reminds me so much of my first time playing elden ring, besides that you are playing a build based of an anime, It feels so similar. It is so fun to see the reactions of the bosses like so. Though I played on console so that lag spike thing really looked terrible. But I also loved the background music for the montage of you beating radahn, it sounded like the song by queen we will rock you, so I got a bit of sensation that you were gonna rock that big disgrace with his blood on your face as you you rock him. Awesome 👍😎

I did this for darksouls one, o love when people say you cant survive with such slow attacks, but every hit you connect feels so significant when u get that perfect opportunity

Nights Calvary set +Black hood looks really similar to blackswordman guts

wassup just incase you didnt notice Endurance ups your stamina and your carry weight so id 100% recommend you do a bit of that man also keep your mana or FP up otherwise you're ash of war is less effective

I think Night Calvary is a bit better for Guts build, or the Knight Armor with some mix n matching here and there. I cannot wait to do Guts run! Currently doing a Kratos run with Double Magma Blades haha! Hella fun

Berserk made me play Elden Ring because of armor mods. And man, from a RP perspective, imagine Guts being trapped between the two worlds and just discover every part from software put some love in, it was a blast ... Nice video

I always use the great sword in these games and the mimic + great sword is just beyond insane. Malenia is a crazy boss and I wouldn’t have been able to beat her without stunlocking her with alternating r1s

Its honestly the best way to start the game and turns it to easy mode if you're doing anything related to an str build, its what i did first and it makes the start of the game so easy

I feel so guilty for commenting this video of yours just now, RU-vid was bombarded with Berserk and Elden Ring videos in the early days (logically and luckily) so it was hard for me to find this video. I'm so glad you used my version 2 of Guts face for this beautiful video of yours, I loved it till the end. with "Guts face v2" I really tried to do something really specific, taking a cue from a drawing by Kentaro Miura I tried to recreate it as faithfully as possible within the Character Creation (the menu), it took several days, I I also helped myself with Photoshop to be able to alt tab every second and compare with Kentaro's drawing while I was creating it, but, as often happens in these games, the version we have in the Creation menu is a little different from the one in game, for a logical matter of lights, so I made V3 which is currently the best for Guts' look in the game and unlike V2, V3 looks a bit weird in the character creation menu, but he is perfect in the game!. thx for sharing my work, thx a lot!.

i'm a bit late, But i have to admit that Radahn is insanely hard with a slow melee build like a colossal greatsword/general colossal weapon one, or Even just a heavy weapon one. I tried to beat him using the bloodhounds fang at first, which went absolutely terrible. then, after getting some advice to use another weapon that was less slow, i decided to dual wield rapiers and jump attack spam Radahn due to him being a big target and with NPCs being less risky and easier to hit. major respect for this video and also for that amazing Radahn fight

you should check out the nights cavalry set if you swap out the helmet you get a much closer armour to the beserk armour.

The speedier bosses kicked my ass during my first playthrough as Guts with the greatsword. They are really too fast for that kind of style even if you end up winning eventually.

i would say malekith's armor or closer to the berserker armor

Damn this is literally how I built my first character and I eventually found his greatsword and although better weapons exist I just love its look and moveset

Btw guts armor is located in consecrated snowfield. Dropped by the 2 knights cavalry

next to the bird exploit you can jump off the mountain while swinging continuously then when you obtain runes in the void while still swinging, warp back to the bonfire next to the bird. this will give you 400,000 runes per jump on ng+7

Did you know that there is a girl you can summon for the godrick fight once you get the grace at godrick turn left where the where the giant is and go down the stares there should be a shack and a girl you can talk to with hero armour on you can talk to her then the next time you want to fight godrick you can summon her it is very helpful at the start of the game. And another thing that I like to do is use sourcerer (I don’t know how to spell) or prisoner build and go to calid and grab rock sling and meteorite staff at aonia lake or something at the ruins and you can beat Margit and godrick easily because they both have summons

There's something else that everyone seems to forget. His insane speed boost, so you need the Great Knife with Bloodhound Step AOW in your off hand. Hot Swap between two-handing the Great Knife for Bloodhound Step in your off hand to two-handing Greatsword in the main hand. Carian Filagreed Crest reduces FP cost of skills, Dragoncrest Greatshield or Bull-Goats Talisman, Shard of Alexander and Axe Talisman.
