Genuinely this game has been my favorite smash clone ever since I picked it up over COVID. So happy that other people are recognizing just how fun this game really is.

The edgeguarding in ultimate is why I could never get into it, that and how sluggish it feels. This game definitely feels like something I would enjoy a lot more

Glad you are promoting this game. I'm sad it released on switch to little fanfare but I chalk that up to NASB's faults than any fault of SC's, which I feel Slap is such a better game in every way. To new players: don't put off Slap City because you got burned with NASB. Ludiosity is great at making unique platform fighters and I feel like NASB was more of Nick's mismanagement than any fault of Ludiosity.

Was in your stream yesterday. I've had this game about 2.5 years ago on steam, (got it on sale,) but I barely ever played it, (It's actually the only steam game i've ever bought.)and everytime I did, I had a blast. It's a very fun game and I highly recommend it.

Words cannot describe how much I agree & are so happy you gave this game a fair shake & highlighted its best aspects I feel like it's a bit of a painful fact that visuals & roster sell fighting games but just as you said I so much rather they feel fun & unique rather then just having as many characters as possible Ultimate & other games with such sizable rosters feel like such a nightmare to know everything about every character but I commonly am flexing my thorough knowledge of the whole roster in Slap City It's such an under appreciated game & one that I feel actually capable of doing well in & I love so many of its characters so much for so many reasons & Ludosity as well When I found out more about the titles they even made before they just seemed like such a creative & unique dev team with the things they make my love for them & this game I cannot overstate enough Thank you Armada nothing would make me happier then to see Slap get more attention

This game has the schmovement you crave. Wavedashes and wavelands are super easy to do compared to melee and go much further. Combined with the hitstun and tons of ways to cancel moves you get satisfying build-a-combo sequences limited only by your creativity. Highly recommend!

As someone who sucks at Slap City but still loves it, the game is super fun from a casual perspective too! 🎉
