Instead of choosing 18 in the league format, choose 9 to set up one “fixture group” I can call. In the new format because we will have 4 different “fixture groups”. First group: 3 teams from first pot, 2 each from 3 other pots Second group: 3 teams from second pot, and 2 each from 3 other pots. Repeat this step twice more using 3 teams from each of the two remaining pots and using 2 teams from others. Save each fixture groups differently. Then you will summarize the results for 36 teams into one single league manually. Rank them, in other words. 1-8 advances to final 16, 9-24 advances to preliminary play-offs to make up for the rest of the final 16. It sounds complicated but it really is not and much more realistic

To me, its not even about if i like the new format or not. Its just the sheer amount of football these top teams will be playing. To be fair they did sign up to be a pro footballer, but imagine starting 30 games and having to play all of these fixtures, these players are going to be absolutely burnt out 😭

away goal rule is the most stupid rule that ever existed but ppl are still complaining about VAR bc it is probably too fair for them, but when some team played 3-3 in both games they are out bc they conceded two goals at their home, ppl please wtf💀

You could also put the qualified cl teams in bundesliga in carrer mode because it has 18 teams same for french ligue 1 only leave the top 5 of germany 1st division 2023-24 in case of france leave only the top 4 of french league replace with qualified teams it will have to be split between part 1 and 2 then disable the first summer transfer window disable the first season European competitions after that simulate the first 8 games of the season and then follow the tournament mode

honestly, ill give it a go and see how the new format plays out. Allthough i really love the format as it is now, i am open for new changes, but i dont think its gonna be as good as the current format is. Lets just wait and see.
