I sang this song as a kid, and danced around to it. I didn'r fully understand the promise that I was singing at the young age of 9. Til I was getting ready to marry my one and only boyfriend. He is the only one I have ever kissed, and we saved ourselves for God and each other til our wedding night. We have been married 3 and 1/2 years and are still very happy. I praise God for holding me to my promise. I love this song and it played at my wedding. :)

I've been clinging to this chain for almost 5 yrs. It wasn't easy, pain, suffering, depression, the thought that I might be lying to myself of what I really felt for. The what ifs, I almost gone mad. Maybe if God wasn't there I've already lost my senses. I thought He became silent and considered that maybe I haven't actually accepted Him. I've been distant with God for years, until I got into a situation wherein it makes me depressed for more than a year. I was an unrequited love. Meanwhile, I search it and this is what came up. Thank you God for this song you remind me to wait for the man you created just for me.. I know at my very young age you already prepare that person of my dreams, and the man I'm going to marry ...and still, waiting for the right time to come... ( kung hindi mn yung nauna, yung will mo God para sakin.) At last, I don't really expect that at the last part it showed up my bible verse since then in Psalm 37:4 .. May be you already read but if not, I would recommend reading "I Married You" by Walter Trobisch - a small but excellent book with a real story that runs through the background of the message. One piece of advice, if you wanna take it - Just make sure you are surrendered to the will of God, whatever it is. Sometimes for us Christians this is a bottleneck that we keep bargaining and the right man (never the perfect person) is waiting too! Don't miss the diamonds looking for pebbles.
