Sorry, I reread that, and it is a bit convoluted lol. Ok, let me explain. The people who helped you may have over engendering your setup. Try an Aurdino, as it is more like a programmable switch. You can even cut the servo out completely and probably run a connection from the blaster “trigger” straight to a Gipo pin on the Arduino. You also can remove the Arduino chip from its programming board and run it on a minimal voltage. Then, you can solder wires directly to the pre-programmed chip and not even need a breadboard. The Arduino was the original “hardware” hacking chip before the Raspberry Pi came out, so essential no Operating system is needed for it to run. It just starts when power is applied. So, for something like this, it is perfect. So you have to research, but you may be able to cut 50% of the extra out of your current build.

Ive created “lightning trigger “ this way where i programmed the chip to sense lightning on a light sensor fotodiodos and then send a signal to the camera remote to take a picture. It worked flawlessly. I stripped the chip down to minimum power and directly solder to the post. The ardiuno chip will wait for a signal then perform a function or series of functions when you send the signal ( led pad signal?) so you can program the output to “imitate” something like someone pulling a trigger… so you probably might not even need a servo… now this is where it gets cool you can mimic the setup and try different things and different devices on your drone. So it doesn’t have to be a one and done.

I've tried combat but the AI planes are so hard to keep up with in practice, and I don't want to just jump into a match. I don't think that they can make an AI that flies multi-rotor, at least not like we do, that's why velocidrone has ghost racers instead of bot racers.

when i realized the step down was the wrong part i actually went to micro center to get a relay but they didnt have any, and the video was due in two days at that point lol so i did what i had to.

Drones I feel are differnt and in no way does laser tag give me the same enjoyment and nothing came of laser tag in terms of thing we love that we may lose in adulthood.
