I put my 26,000 mile FORD SPORTKA in for an MOT - Did it PASS? 

For all those people who laugh at the Ka’s and Sport Ka’s haven’t driven one , they are fun and great to drive, there is even a race series for the 1.3 Ka’s

I had an imperial blue KA sport loved it to bits spent a fortune to keep it going but in the end it rotted away in exactly the same places as yours went for scrap in the end I was gutted if I could find a rust free one I would buy it but no luck so far...kind regards

Such a shame these rot out so badly. All Ka's are brilliant to drive but the sport Ka's are such fun.

Been waiting for this one, got my SportKA through an mot, I’ll enjoy it this summer and then sorn it again, once I’ve built some money up I’ll be getting the sills and etc done 😊

I have a red Sportka, which I sold, missed badly, and bought back a few months later! In the spring I'm hoping to get a Starsky and Hutch white stripe on it. Just for the laugh and to give people a chuckle. God knows we could use a laugh these days.

Such great little cars, Ford should be ashamed though that they designed such a great little car and give it absolutely no rust protection. Such a shame because the sport ka is fast becomeing rarer than Mk1 XR2 because they rust so badly.

Did you sell the fiesta Danny as I cannot find it for sale, I had a red sportka years ago and loved it, shame it rotted to basically nothing up here in Scotland 😆

Hi Danny, we are trading in my 2004 Sportka for a new Kia Picanto. The Sportska sailed through the MOT with no advisers, about three weeks ago with 42,000 miles on the clock. The filler cap has a bit of rust around it also the corners of the rear wheel arches where the touch the bumper. My wife couldn't believe the Dealer is going to scrap the car. Out of interest how much did you get for your Sportka today?
