Good for you. As long as self-employed delivering stays viable as a full time job i'll never go back to full time employment. The thought of having to deal with supervisors and the rest of it is anxiety inducing after almost 2 years of freedom. Keep up the great content Atlanta, you're smashing it!
Same as. I've been doing this 13 months now and the longest I'd been in a job before this was 10 months. Absolutely despise working under a boss, complaining about petty shit, sometimes horrible coworkers. I hope I never have a 'real' job again.
Last comment, I promise! Lol Just wanted to say we had the "summer slowdown" here where all the college kids came home and it was almost impossible to schedule and get good/any orders. I got a daytime job from 9-3 5 days a week, but now that school is starting back the schedules are opening back up and I'm going to be able to go back to delivering full time. While having a steady paycheck was nice, deciding when I'm going to work, being able to stop working any time I need to is just so nice. I don't have to worry about calling out of work for appointments and leaving them short staffed, I can just do what I need to when I need to with no guilt unlike a "regular" job.
I live in the US and we are just too spread out to be able to use even an e-bike. Unless someone from a hotel orders in my area, your looking at 3 miles being the shortest and even the hotels are 1.5 to 2 miles depending on the restaurants. I have a Prius so that helps a ton with gas. I can take the higher mile higher paying orders without having to worry much about gas. The e-bike just looks like fun and it'd be nice to have it as an option!
Hi great videos , I do ubereats, deliveroo, beelivery, Stuart, hungry panda(which is Chinese only) just eat(all apps in hove, Portslade, Shoreham area mainly ) I used to do just eat shifts in worthing but the problem I had is if you reject low paying orders then they don't give you any more so I stopped, I prefer Stuart and I do a lot of super drug, pets at home, tesco, sainsburys, Co op deliveries as no waiting also I have a 100% rating with them(Stuart) which means I get to do the apple store deliveries from Churchill Square (Brighton) which pay very good/best in the industry, good luck and hope you get lots of tips. 👍👍👍
@@AtlantaDelivers good money, Stuart is the best paying app out of all of them, they aren't in worthing, but mainly Brighton, Hove, Portslade and the nearest pick up to worthing is Co op at Southwick Square. The money used to be better when they had the contract for macdonalds and kfc but they have had their own employees now for about a year(the ones you see in orange on the e bikes and e scooters) the pay varies as they have a boost system like ubereats, minimum £4.50 up to about £9 with a 1.60 boost that was on tonight in certain locations (I can't say how much I get for the apple deliveries as its an extra boost up to 2.5(ive had £25 for a delivery before, but an iPhone or mac book can cost 1k upwards, so I want good money for it)good luck👍👍👍
@@AtlantaDelivers I do when I know I could cut through a park/shortcut or park right outside McDonalds as you mention. Even with the extra expenses I prefer the car overall. Heading into autumn and winter it’s so much more practical. I hated working in the rain and snow. Also simple things like waiting for orders are worse on a bike I found, especially if delivering in “less desirable” areas if you catch my drift.
This is exactly what I mean by out of city delivery it's so terrible. Aswell as the food on arrival I order cos sometimes you sleep don't cook decide to get up and just order.... .ordered at 8:25 I've been waiting over 20 minutes for somebody to just accept my order .and they still haven't got a delivery guy ... it's pathetic I am a 4 minute drive away from the place
@Graham Moore very helpful it’s just the cost of getting a moped for me since I can’t sell my car for one. As my car is used for a family vehicle also with my daughter

Well done.I used to be "The Man From The Pru," on a Lambretta collecting premiums from policy holders and i really knew my way around better than a London taxi driver on" The Knowlidge "I expect you are the same only back in the day we didnt have G.P.S.Good luck.
Might look into an E-Bike next year if I keep at and enjoy the delivering. I went out on my push bike earlier August, and cycled for 5 hours... Gosh I could have earned a fortune in that 5 hours haha The only worry and concern I have is the phone slipping out on a bike :(
The phone holder is good on the bike and keeps it fairly secure. Depending on what you go for, you can get mounts that go on the bike and you have a case that locks onto it!
Brilliant, I have asbergers and this is a job I may be able to do. Great and helpful content for a wide range of people. I appreciate the grind! ❤ I honestly think it’s bada$$. I always tip my drivers because I genuinely appreciate the grind they do.
Atlanta i hope your using a lock on that thing. Check the guy on youtube Electric Scooter Academy. He's from Los Angeles. He has a nice lock. Dont be naive and let your guard down. And pay attention to the road and forget about blogging until you get comfortable enough with riding.
Been trying to sign up with Uber Eats and their signup app process is dreadful, seriously broken.. signed up put my car in, but when going to completing vehicle requirements all it says is Please provide the following documents for this vehicle... Yet no options to do so, only Remove vehicle 🤷♂
Hi just come across your channel and its great and love the ebike could you do a quick video all about the bike like show you round it in more detail no problem if you can't take care and enjoy your bike 🚲
Ordered mcdonalds from a restaurant 4 minutes away from Me it took about 17 minutes for a delivery guy to accept it . I then waited a further 20 minutes or what feels like 20 mins for him to eventually be on his way to me ... at 21:10. I've just found out he has another stop on the bloody way despite picking my order up first he's delivering to the 2nd guy first so I'm not expected to get mine until 21:22 I ordered at 8:25 from a restaurant 4 minutes away. Just wish you really knew what it was like
If you're waiting 15 minutes for someone to accept your order it's because the place is packed and no one wants to do it. The fact your driver had to wait 20 minutes for your food backs up my theory.
@@AtlantaDelivers Love how you answer things like this realistically. People like this always have something to complain about, and like you said, if it never goes right then stop ordering! Definition of insanity and all that. Lol
Sorry I just signed up for Uber eats and for 3 days 3 hours each day not one trip When asked Uber they said you can only work in the city you signed up for ??? Is this true I signed up for Surrey bug partner lives in Kent lol
I just wanted to double check is it possible to have two different vehicle types on the same Uber account as last time I’m sure they made me pick one or another Would love to have a car and a motorbike both on it
In my area deliveroo is way too quiet so im kinda suprised you quit kfc but I do understand why you would leave plus you multi app vs what I do is 1 only and you probably know which orders to reject etc I don't which ones to reject etc
