Lonesome Road is why ED-E is my favorite companion. When you complete ED-E My Love, The Enclave Remnants, and Lonesome Road; ED-E becomes the most fleshed out companion in the game. He also becomes like The Courier's Dæmon or Spirit Animal, representing their Past, Code, and Ultimate Destiny.

@@LostMyPowerArmorIf fallout New Vegas came out in 2024 it may very well have reduced all the gay characters to shallow virtue signaling stereotypes. In New Vegas about 33% of the named characters are gay and yet most of them only bring it up as often as anyone would bring up that they are straight, it's natural and not forced, and doesn't serve as a substitute for having a real personality.

For me it will always be Raul, he went through hell met the devil spat in his eye, got beaten badly for it and can still be ready to jump back on the saddle in his superhero outfit (still kinda mad how his “quest” is just talk to other older people who give him hope instead of a boon type effect instead)
6:11 Arcade really makes a difference in the Battle. That makes him a badass Cassidy, Veronica and Boone care only for themselves to be honest. It's your opinion of course, but mine is that Arcade is the most selfless companion, yet the smartest. He deserve more glory, than he usually gets.
Sweet video! The only companions I gone through are veronica (BOS main here), arcade( funny nerd man) and finally raul ( voice actor for me gave character more life ). The rest never stood out for me as "hey I wanna explore the mojave with these fellas". However I'll gladly give boone a try since I only go to him for that crit hat.
Enjoyable vid. Would switch EDE and Rex - at least I can stand the latter. Would prolly put Raul right behind Veronica. Not much else to disagree with.
Great video. I never really knew about the back story of Raul and Lily as I never really recruit them as my companions so I’m still learning new things about New Vegas. I can tell you a lot of work into this video and I can’t wait for more videos like this! 💙
i also didn't know so much stuff about the companions before making this video. like rex's backstory or lily's backstory. its good to know more lore about this game. the recording length was 10 hours but it didn't feel that way because all that time i was very engaged in the game. i love listening to these characters talk. will make more videos like this in the future. maybe this time non dlc characters.

Boone and Veronica, the killing deadeye and the lesbian punching monk, you can never go wrong with them. But Raul is my favorite, his writing, voice actor and the vanquero style are top notch.
I'm nobody here, but the use of an A.I. reader detracts from the video for me. I read something about a loud background and a poor quality microphone being the reasons, but i can tell you that the very reason I follow some creators is because they have a unique and interesting voice. After I noticed it, I missed out on the end of the video because i was more curious as to if you were using a reader. Just some thoughts of you want them.

If you rely on Raul as a non-combat Charisma character, he's immediately one of the worst. Cowering is absolutely unacceptable. He's less likely to do this if you're traveling with multiple companions, but in Vanilla it is obscene how often he will cower when attacked.

Boone - absolute worst companion. i just ignore him in my games, travelling alone is better then with him. He`s really bad person. 5. Arcade - a little bit better. he isn`t bad like Boone, just boring. 4. Lily - crazy supermatant, but not so bad you want to travel alone and not so boring and Arcade. 3. Raul - dgood compaion, but those girls are better. 2. Cass - fun Irish girl, it`s really nice to travel with her. 1. Veronica - for a BoS member, she`s very normal. very fuuny and cute girl with simple desires, like dresses.
The best companion is the one that fits your player character for that playthrough. This will differ depending on how you roleplay that character each new playthrough.

ED-E much better then rex, because he can shoot with lasers, he got both workbenches, and after Lonesome road he will be able to repair guns, and produce energy ammo
Thanks, yes I am not stopping to make videos anytime soon. I will make more of these types of videos because I learn a lot of lore in the process. The mod videos will still be coming though.
I feel Arcade had potential but he is executed well. I think its more fitting to be patriot who dose not like both parties and wants recreate the US government again
the best option is the bisexual option of not making a choice and just installing JIP companions command and control to have unlimited. it's vital when you install more companions.
Boone or Veronica are the only best number 1 or 2 companions so I like the list but boone is better no heat. He always saves me. ButI can always give Veronica her own power amor from the brotherhood.
So Boone was my first companion. Went into NV blind. Boone got me to love the NCR. But later once I realized the Legion was right it came down to ede. Mother fucker doesn't care. He just follows and kills shit.
If you want some random internet guy take, the dude's obsessed with RU-vid metrics. I'm not trying to hate on Arizio; I respect the hustle as a fellow man. His videos don't perform better when he's using his own voice, and based on the metrics, he assumes that his 2000 subs are used to the AI voice. I don't know about the rest of the people regarding that, but I'm probably not the first one to say that I don't care about the voice. I'm here for his content. However, if he tries to improve his speaking skills and mic quality, it'd be nice and give more soul as the time goes by. But hey, you can't fool the metrics, so I guess the majority prefers the AI. This reminds me of a long-time CCG creator who's obsessed with metrics and always talks about it on the stream where some of his videos performed worse like it's the end of his career. Instead of addressing the issue and trying to get better with it, all he does is complain about the system and comes out as insufferable to the regular Joes. He chose to become like the rest with clickbait titles and soulless scripts. Somehow, people still watch him, albeit without increasing.
I am trying to improve my voice in the background. I even tried voicing this video but it's not just youtube metrics or my voice. I live in one of the most busiest countries in the world. There's always construction noises, noises of people on the roofs, noises of steel plates and pots when someone is cooking. Even in midnight someone is loudly playing songs in the road mic for something. It's hard to find a time with complete peace. Even my family members don't understand. I tell them to stop making noises just for 1 hour and they still don't do it. All that leads to me getting frustrated and trying to rush the script. It's one of the worst places you can live in. People are just blinded with religion and are narrow-minded. Even while writing this comment there's a constant loud noise coming from some machine on the road along with brick breaking noises. I am just gonna stop now but the gist of it is there's so many limitations and the analytics is only one of them.

Idk i just started playing rex kills bugs for me qnd i have the old lady lilly... I had cass but had to have her killed (god i still feel bad for it in my defense i tried fighting the gang four times before finally giving up)
