To be fair, they did have a point on the Exosister meme. The only way you build the deck from scratch now is to craft the entire Exosister core or get lucky with Master Packs, which isn't likely at all. Kind of a growing problem with Master Duel.
At least they're slowly making new packs for older cards (like the branded pack for ppl to get the Mirrorjade wave of support or soon the punk pack for deer note)
@@tidalfront2360 Its literally only the Albaz dragon pack so far, and its already obsolete with a tons of the new cards not included on it. Meanwhile Swordsoul has pretty much every card in the game already and it still doesn't have a pack for itself.
@@tidalfront2360 That's not really true though. Branded got a pack but we haven't got a new one since November, and the new wave of support is probably isn't making it's way to a secret pack if trends hold true. The only time we saw a secret pack get a new support card was when Linkage got added to the game in January. So far, Konami adding and updating secret packs feel more like a one-off then a trend.
I made the YugiBoomers meme...man I got trashed by Farfa Seriously though I wasn't making fun of Yugiboomers, I myself came back to the game in 2020 and took some time watching Yugitubers to find out how essential handtraps are to the modern game, I was a Yugiboomer myself, just not the type that instantly hated modern cards, I liked them from the start Yes Kuriboh existed, yes Gorz, Honest and Veiler are old handtraps but they're not as game warping as ash or C
@@NoahStills Honest was on the limited list for years in addition to giving everyone attacking with light monsters a aneurysm when damage step and calculation came around.
Ok, here is my hot take, hating on spongebob memes is just as uncreative and npc behavior as posting them, i get it was really bad where like 5 of the posts were spongebob memes, but now we only had 1, and i know they just play it up in Danie's stream, but when peeps even lost his mind when the happymealmenu toy on a meme was a spongebob figure...
Lol this is mostly a joke. These days this wording does not exist anymore, but when Twin Headed Behemoth was first printed way way back in the day, it was not written as a correct hopt, so people screwed around made the arguement you can not know if it is the same Twin Headed Behemoth as the one before, so henceforth: the soft once per duel. Konami limited Twin Headed Behemoth because PSCT wasnt a thing.
Why would the SpongeBob meme bring the score down when it's the only funny one (except the last one)(if you disregard the fact it's probably only funny because the SpongeBob joke is funny)
Yugi boomer here. Just got back to yugioh and it seems that not letting the opponent play the game is the meta now. I miss the old days where I get to play in my own turn, summon a beefy boss monster then pass the turn to the opponent.
And then you used Honest or Gorz to stop them from playing the game or you lightsworn OTK them so they couldn't play the game. Stop being a boomer and realize it's always been the point. It's just done differently now lol. Be a real shame if I C.E.D your hand and board.
to be fair the whole prosperity argument makes sense in farfas defense. sure maybe it got limited because floo was a little too good with it but by that logic you can also say that terra was banned because of tear. that may be true but terra was insane even before tear came out.
I would argue that's exactly the same thing, and it's normal. Obviously terraforming is good, but that doesn't address the issue that they can print a really good field spell which then makes terraforming way too good cuz it's an extra copy
