Great episode Damian and thanks for including my little Seiko in amongst some truly stunning pieces and heavy hitters 😎 mine has the Pepsi bezel but the photo isn’t the best … thanks again and I look forward to the next episode of the best watch channel on Utube 👌🏻
Damn wish i had sent i wrist shot in. Behind with your videos as been so busy! Love the concept of this, quick and easy talk through of a lot of different models. Hope to be in the next one 😬
A great episode... Thank you. I would have loved to submit my watch, but somehow missed the message. Any chance you'll do this again, and if so how do I submit? FWIW, I've been a watch person for 55 years, serious for 40 years and a true "one watch guy" for 30 years '83-'13. It's this watch I'd like to submit, purchased at the now defunct China Fleet Club, the old British military exchange in Hong Kong.
My best watch form a quality standpoint is a Omega Seamaster blue bezel grey dial but from a price standpoint is a Rolex OP 41 green as it’s like 16k in the market
The green face on that presidential was so nice. Have you seen the Rolex Submariner skeleton with the hulk bezel? I think they are doing 90 of them what are your thoughts on skeleton style watches in general?
Hoping you snag that Patek World Timer. I'm not huge on blue dials, but it looks so much nicer than the green dial. Just got an email with the list of Pateks discontinued, and it's on the list, along with all the 5711s(will believe this when I see it lol).
That Paul Newman is not my cup of tea, but the non ceramic is going up 25% p year - it's called a neo-Paul Newman because it's three colour dial eg black, gold and red minute track a la 6239 exotics etc
I'd've given more information on my VC if I had any. I've had and enjoyed wearing it sparingly for about forty years. But it's definitely made one or two scratch their heads.
That Seiko Think the Earth if I could find one of those for sale, I can 90% guarantee id be buying it right now. I've wanted one of those for years! (very eclectic I know)
I love your content. Your passion for watches really comes through on all your videos. A really nice simple format with tons of excellent information. Thanks for sharing!
Great video, thanks Damian; appreciate the time and effort taken to pull it together. Nice to see my bonkers Think The Earth Seiko included; makes me smile every time I look at it. Also leaves a bemused look on anyone who asks me the time, when I reply "about ten to Alaska"
Amazing work and effort that must of gone in to creating the episode. Unique idea and brilliantly put together. Thank you for displaying my Rolex Daytona and the elephant in the room crotch shot! Hahah. Keep up the great work guys. Huge fan!
Lovely to see my wee vintage Breitling featured in such exalted company - thanks very much, Damian. You were spot on re age. Reference 1901 from 1955. It’s steel, plated and it was a real bargain from an antiques shop when on holiday in the south of France. Beautiful patina but still keeps brilliant time.
