The best part of the internationals one is that the little girl who gave her the Darkrai during the trading section said she uses the same deck. She could have just borrowed the entire deck lol. Instead of trading baseset Charizard.

fun fact: nemona, the card that let's you draw 3 cards (same as cards like hop or hau), is one of the worst supporters you could bring. while the card itself isn't bad per se, as it is a +2, pokemon has so much drawing related stuff, that the card get's outshined by pretty much everything.

I started teaching my nephews Pokemon last year when they found a Starmie card on the playground. Bought a bunch of bulk cards, learned how to play via the youtube, and make them some decks. I play with music, have them call out their attacks, and act out the movies. Its fun.

19:24 XD XD This was me at my nephews Pokemon club. Watching the kids play and trade, I see 1 kid just wandering around with a deck and binder. I ask him if he wants to play and he instantly sits down and get his cards ready. He has no idea how to play but I indulge him a bit to help him learn. Gave him a Nidoking when his mom came to pick up. He was so excited.

Yeah, Archery exist in American schools I got to try it out while in gymnastics club. Unicycle and archery were in the same room and I did all three.

Actually Patters we have archery in our schools in Canada... Well not when I was a kid but the schools have it now and some schools in the prairies here can have bee keeping and some urban schools have there own gardens and sometimes bee keeping its insane how classes for kids are so engaging and now.❤😮😂😂

It actually could work in real life as a card game player there are many stories especially if nobody uses Oldish. (Yes thats exactly how regional looks like if you ignore the vgc players) Skill > Meta. You bring whats comfortable if you simply bring meta and its not comfortable you lose just as hard. Believe it or not during my first vgc regional I got 24th place with a team that wasn't meta. It was just a team I thought would do well. Yes they allow that in the crowd Not like you'll hear it for the most part.

I think the series is good, the characters and plot are nothing amazing but everything about it is just wholesome. Also the animation is actually really good considering they could've made this look like South Park and I doubt the children watching it would care but instead we get some actually gorgeous animation.

@51:50 Pokémon is balanced around the idea that will be drawing a crap ton of cards. It is pretty regular you see you entire deck in Pokémon The card he played was a supporter card. You can only play one supporter a turn. Honestly Draw 3 cards on a supporter with no other upside is a little on the weak side.
