We never get a case of a human and Pokémon breeds and have a child. Marriage yes but not children. For Latias case, even she can shape-shifting to human, she still a Pokémon nevertheless.
@@FinnManusia Um, I would advise you to look into Pokemon Legends Arceus, I believe there was a mission about a man who married and had children with a Froslass.
funny more considering the kiss is officially ambiguous if it was Bianca or Latias who kissed him. clearly Pat or one of the writers had a favorite of 2 and decided to dismiss the ambiguity completely 😳
I find it so interesting how they even consider some characters that aren’t that obvious, but they totally forget about Annabel, the Brain of the Battle Tower
"When does parents in Pokemon have ever done anything of significance?" The newest game literally revolve around a parent building a time machine, get killed by the Pokemon that came from another time, having a robot replica of themselves help us to stop the complete destabilization of the ecosystem.
Honestly the only fun way in my opinion that they could have had Ash in a new region after becoming World Champion would have been to essentially make him the One Punch Man of Pokemon. Goes to a new region to collect all 8 badges and see new pokemon for the fun of it but he ends up one-shotting anyone who dares challenge him... except for maybe Team Rocket.
No, him starting with new pokemon are just fine. The whole journey would be him to get used to his new Pokemon's strenght and weakness. That being said, Pikachu SHOULD be the OPM from Pokemon by now, but any new Pokemon starting from zero to become champion-level by the end is fine.
In regards to the whole ten year old stuff It depends if you count manga as canon Pat. Takeshi Shudo stated in the Pocket Monsters: The Animation novels that in the Pokémon world, there is the Primary School Graduates Adulthood Law "As for the April after your tenth birthday, you are able to gain a Pokemon license and carry Poke Balls to capture Pokemon, All adult rights are granted" it also worth remembering that Takeshi Shudo also wanted an Elderly Ash to be reincarnated as his younger self.
I think Ash would probably have a similar role to someone like Cynthia in future Pokemon anime. He will just be the badass strong trainer that occasionally appears during the journey
Patterrz reaction to the whole “Bo Burnham is dreams dad” section made me realize that if this is your first video of Game Theory you watched (or if you skipped over that theory) you’d had no idea what the heck he was saying
My guess is that Ash isn't a main character but he will be in the series. I'd love it if it followed the pattern of the Pokemon Adventures: Yellow Chapter manga where Ash(Red in the manga) goes missing and his Pikachu, severely wounded, finds a trainer that's willing to help him in Riko(Yellow in the manga). This would lead to Riko traveling the world with Ash's Pikachu looking for Ash, keeping Pikachu as the franchise mascot. If it truly is like Pokemon Adventures, then after Riko(Yellow) goes on their journey meeting New and Old Friends, they eventually find Ash trapped by the big evil in the deepest part of Area Zero(Seafoam Islands I think) where she along with her friends save him from them and they work together in an action packed final fight for the sake of the world.
@@eletraf Absolutely. Either Riko or Roy. But that makes me think of something: Is Riko Ash's Daughter? Don't care, didn't ask. Is Riko/Roy's Pikachu Ash's Pikachu's offspring? New theory fodder.
MatPat forgot a candidate (even if eliminated early). Salon Maiden Anabel. And it would be fun to see Ash as a mentor and inspiration for Riko instead of parent. But maybe a cameo of Ash's wife (assuming time skip) would be great to see, just to find out which ship was true in the end.
there is a candidate missing which could work as well, Salon Maiden Anabel, she instantly fell in love with ash in the anime and has blue/purple hair and blue eyes
I love Latias thx to growing up on that movie so i wouldnt complain if they did have riko together, also Latias can seemingly shapeshift so whos to say she couldnt have passed on the genes of a different shapeshifted form.
Fun fact about animes that focus on the son of the former anime protagonist. Dragon Ball Z was supposed to focus on Gohan, the son of the original Dragon Ball series, Goku, but they changed that around when they found out how populair adult Goku had become. And now most people dont even know there was a show before Dragon Ball Z, that followed Goku growing up.
Not me when that guy says better than a broken neck I jump straight to the second Harry Potter movie where Ron's wand brakes and Harry's like be thankful it wasn't your neck
My theory, this takes place in the future and I assume that Riko has a similar goal to Ash to become the pokemon champion. How ever in this case, after riko battles through 4 or 8 regions (a bit of a stretch I know) she would encounter adult Ash to be the finalists of becoming the Pokémon champion. (I also had a theory that Roy would also be interested)
Now now Patterrz numbers mean nothing when it comes to the ages of fictional characters. Even MORE so when it comes from a series that has literally lasted for 26 years😂 There's nothing wrong
after the team defeats professor sada, ash shows up and beat them then says: "You are beaten. It is useless to resist. Don’t let yourself be destroyed as Professor Turo did. Join me and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the Paldea Region" Rico: "No i will not, and i will bring you back to being a kind a father that you ince were!" Darth Asher: "I see, so Clavel never told you what really happened. My Child, No, I am not your father" *releases alakazam and cleared the hypnosis* Rico: (remembers that she is actually just latias and all her memories about being the child of ash is just fake memories) "Noouuu!!"
Yeah early Pokemon lore was a bit crazy. did you know originally the anime was going to end with Pokemon revolting against humanity with Pikachu as their leader
Palet town is known as the the town of champion in all region because every adult living there is at least a elite trainer. Pat:Ash from Palet town in the middle of nowhere.
"If anyone is going to find a way to keep talking about me, its going to be you" Not anymore sadly,, sersiously that intro seems like the entire internets reaction to Matpat leaving the theory channels to work on his own life, which I hope he finds success and happiness in, the absolute legend.
I really don’t want the new anime to have ash be the rival, as I can’t imagine having to watch one of my favorite characters beaten just like that, 25 years of character growth down the drain
i know latias is scientifically impossible, but it's an anime, and i'm not trying to make it work but....in the last special episodes a special pokemon stalking ash with interest...yup it's latias.
Shipping isn't just "oo make characters kiss," it's about writing and exploring relationship dynamics. It's also often a kid's first jump into the world of art - be that writing, drawing, animating, music, or video editing. So like. Don't clown on shippers too hard. Half of the community is under 18, and the other half are just artists having fun and practicing.
Ash always carried around the thunderstone it was shown in a later episode in a later serious. I believe it was diamond and pearl pikachu lost to a raichu and ash pulls out the thunderstone wondering if pikachu would want to evolve now. Although I believe at the end of the episode team rocket stole the stone. I realize the video covers it anyway I only remember this because I had the special pikachu DVDs and both raichu thunderstone episodes were together
If a ten year old a allowed to go die and caught pokemon, then why the hell aren't they allowed to get married? I mean, like people married pokemon, they are animals, so why not.
Personally, I want Nemona to be Ash's kid. And the reason why she's battle obsessed is that it's her cope that Ash, who battles her as their bonding, is no longer with her. Yes I made it dark.
Just like people driven on revenge in anime. Ash, after completing his goal, felt lost/hollow after everything. He then started drinking and going to brothels. Now, the new pokemon story is of a girl trying to be the very best and no dad to be found with Ash being the father that we never will know of.
Trained Giovanni vs Ash i want to see a final clash lol Yea hes the champion but alot of the times the villain that isnt the champion is usually the best in terms of anime lol
I think pokemon is going to do the same thing yugioh is. The new protagonist is going to know about the world champion and their goal will be to surpass him and at the end ash will return for a pokemon battle with them.
