Fun fact: when Jarvis shows Tony a picture of Vanko being arrested, the photograph is actually of the actor, Mickey Rourke, being arrested in the 80s for drug possession.

Sam Rockwell is from tons of different movies. He's one of the best (if possibly underappreciated) actors working. His resume is full of bangers... The Green Mile, Jo Jo Rabbit, Galaxy Quest, Moon, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri for which he won a Best Supporting Oscar.

Tony's father helped build Capt. America's shield. The one in the movie is likely an extra or a prototype, etc. (You missed the reference). It has a function in later movies.

Without spoiling anything, which someone else in the comments already kind of did, the thing that looks like Cap's shield is just a plastic model. The person who made it was practicing with art designs to paint the shield on a plastic practice 3d printed disc. So it was effectively just a toy laying around.

Just FYI, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, and Thor all happen basically at the same time and the end stinger in Incredible Hulk where Tony talks to General Ross is after this movie, with Tony consulting for shield like he said. You should watch the Marvel one-shots along with the movies. There's just a few of them, they're short, and they tie in to the movies.

Looking forward to this one! 😊 Love this movie for several reasons. Here we get the MCU introduction of Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. And Don Cheadle stepping into the role of Rhodey Rhodes. And he gets his War Machine suit in this movie. And we've also got the returns of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Clark Gregg as SHIELD agent Phil Coulson. Dor me personally, the villian Whiplash isn't my favorite MCU villian. But I did like how they made his character connected to Tony by their fathers working together in the past. I also the character Justin Hammer, played by Sam Rockwell. Fun Fact: Sam Rockwell(Justin Hammer) is married, or long-time dating, Leslie Bibb(who plays the reporter Christine Everhart from both this movie and the first "Iron Man" movie). Favorite scenes in this movie are the scene with Fury, Natasha, and Tony in the donut shop, and the fight between Natasha and the security guards at Hammer's warehouse. And at least Happy was finally able to take out that one security guard. LOL! And Tony and Pepper officially become a couple in this movie. Up Next is the first "Thor" movie. Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊

The end of this film leads to Tony going to see General Ross at the end of The Incredible Hulk, you need to watch the Marvel One-Shots "The Consultant" and "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer" Weather you put them at the beginning of your next video, do a separate video for them, or just watch them, it's up to you. (You could just make a short video watching both of them) but regardless please watch them. {Timeline-wise The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2 & Thor all happen around the same week of time}

This was one of the first movies to reintroduce the world to Mickey Rourke. He was a huge star in the 90’s then left Hollywood to be a professional boxer. I would recommend you watch some of his earlier movies and see just how different his face looks. Back in his golden years of acting he was considered one of the sexiest men alive. He has a great list of movies to watch.

Yeah Stef, Sam Rockwell (Justin Hammer) has been in a lot of movies since late 90 early 2000s incl 2024’s Argyle. Tony’s Dad, Howard, made the vibranium shield for Steve Rogers. For why Tony has the shield now, you'll just have to wait for Capt Amer, 1st Avenger. I’m with you on this MCU journey “until the end of line.”

Black Widow is a skilled fighter, yes, but unless she is hitting (mythical) points on the body so (implausibly) sensitive that they lead to immediate unconsciousness with a single light/medium-force strike, there's no way she waltzes through the halls taking out a dozen security guards while Happy lands massive blow upon massive blow on just one guy without taking him down. Crap like that stretches the Rule of Cool so far that it shatters, along with our suspension of disbelief.

Love the Iron Man series! The third one is my favorite but they are all great. Trust me this is just the tip of the iceberg for the MCU, so many amazing movies! Can’t wait to see more! Edit: Yes the Captain America shield was a teaser but there is a connection there with the shield. Not going to say much but you'll know once you watch the first Captain America movie.

IronMan2 is my favorite of his movies. But it’s underrated in my opinion. Most ppl say they prefer the first or third one 🤨🤨🤨 they forget this was the first appearance of Black Widow. I like Mickey Rourke too- until he went nuts in recent years. He called Tom Cruise a clown basically (doing better than you, BRO!) 😎

The reason the Ex Wife failed had nothing to do with it being Hammer Tech. It failed because it didn't have enough distance to accelerate to the speed that type of weapon needs to be effective. Also, you'll see that boy in the Iron Man mask again. He even gets his own movies later on down the road.
