@@Lala47362surprisingly! Some meats and cheeses go great with fruits and berries! I 😊😊if prepared correctly lol. Remember in ratatouille, when Remy wanted his friend to eat the grape and cheese at the same time lol... let's just say it tastes AMAZING!😭
There are basil varieties which have leaves as big as lettuce leaves. Easy to wrap a little cheese in that. Can't buy it in a shop though. But you can grow it on a windowsill
If you want the muffins to be flatter, try this: instead of folding in the berries, pour the batter into the tins first, then add the berries on top! They will sink while the muffins bake and stop them from forming that "dome"
Whenever I watch another Mina Rome video, I'm like "daamn she should definitely open a bakery" You are so talented at making bread, buns and pastry products in general👏🏻
I love this series of yours and I love THG so this was 👌! Literally made a little happy dance when I saw it in my feed…!! As a professional baker I can tell you the science of pita bread: they puff up from the very high heat in the oven cooking the outside from all sides and creating a dry surface at the same time as it rapidly creates steam and gas on the inside, and so they pretty much become small balloons. The reason to why they sometimes don’t puff up is usually the heat being too low to get those instant, simultaneous reactions. So make sure to really heat your oven up in advance and also keep a baking stone or alternatively just a hot baking tray in there and simply slide the baking sheet with the bread onto it as you put them in, that way you'll get the necessary heat from underneath as well. Lots of love from sweden and thank you for all your videos! 💚
food from alice in wonderland could make a great video too. for example the first thing that comes to mind when i think about alice in wonderland is the eat me cake and the drink me potion and the of course the hatter's tea party. and since there are so many different versions of alice in wonderland like the books(obviously), the 1951 disney movie, the tim burton movies, the american mcgee's alice games and the 1983 anime (i grew up with on kika in the 2000s🥺) to name a few there should be quite a lot food to pick from😅
I just finished reading the series last year for the first time, so I’m very happy for this video. I’m especially glad for the recipe for the stew and rice. It sounded so good when I was reading. Good job!
Absolutely loved this video! My favourite series and my favourite vegan guru? Yes 😆I always wanted to try the stew Katniss loves. The muffins and strawberries are perfect!
Looooved this one - SO well done Mina! Love all about it. Also: need to watch and read again. Also: HOW well did they transform the books into movies. Also: liam hemsworth, jennifer lawrence and josh hutcherson - what more can you wnt from a movie? And well well suzanne collins must be a secret or rather not so secret foodie as well ;)
Okay actually I think youve destroyed the movie for me - I can't unhear the pita😂 love how deep u got into it to! Actually such a deep book... Im at the end of the video and just WOW. That stew looks lovely! Actually so interesting to think about how u would act
i had this idea in my head about a video about hunger games food for years now maybe. the last time i watched the movies i was in a desperate search for just anything about the food but there were 2 or 3 videos by feast of fiction i believe and i think most of them were about bread (for obvious reasons). and honestly i couldn't believe that that's it?! with these movies and books you have so much potential not just food wise but also fashion wise and youtube has slept on it for too long😭✋ (i know there are a few videos about capitol fashion or katniss hairstyles but there COULD be sooo much more) you can't imagine how excited i was when you said you'd make a video about the hunger games!
I love your videos so much! And I normaly don’t comment but your honestly the only channel that I look up over and over again because your videos are so comforting and relaxing🙏🏻✨ And there is no other channel that I enjoy like I do yours
I love the books and the movies 😍😍😍 So nice to see you create the foods of it! I have to try that seitan stew! That looks so comforting! I am really impressed with that cake tho! There is so much more potential for food from the movies, maybe we can hope for a second one? The food on the Party in the second movie for example… Thank you for reminding me to rewatch the movies and reread the books 😍
If you ever feel like making a sequel video, I would love that! Also, there is a prequel movie coming out later this year and I suspect there´s gonna be more food.
Mina, the last book (Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) has soooo many food references, I think you would find it really inspiring!! (basically all Snow does in it is eat 😂)
Omg everything just looks sooo tastyyy😍 I love to listen to the audiobook version of the hunger games on spotify while cooking or cleaning:) Thank you for this amazing video!!
"PanEm" xDD Just got this when I rewatch the intro after reading the comments 😂😂Such a creative and cool Video. I love the movies and the books! And the Iced Cake looks fantastic. Really creative for e.g. with those green crumbles and fill it with those berries was a good idea
absolutely incredible 🤍 I was obsessed with the hunger games when I was younger. These are my new fav videos u make!! If you ever read the ACOTAR series I would love to see you recreate the food moments in those books
Perfektes Timing, ich hab erst auch nochmal alle Hunger Games Filme gesehen 😍 habe vor einem Monat "The ballad of songbirds and snakes" gelesen und da kommt ja jetzt auch dieses Jahr der Film 😍
OMG!!! Hunger Games vid finally!!! 😍😍I am so glad you did them! I hope you do another vid for other food references mentioned in the books XD Also I would totally take Rue's approach. try to out smart the others :)
The method by which you crumbed the cake worked well for getting that uneven moss on a rock look, but if you're looking for better crumb stickage later on, try drying the cake in the oven once you have it crumbled. If you just crumble and stick, the moisture present in the cake will not help adhesion, but drying them will remove that moisture and allow it to stick to the icing better.
Omg I'm leaving for vacation in 13 hours. I want to reread the Hunger Games so badly now!!! I hope the books are still on my e Reader!!! You did a great job. Pita bread - hilarious 😂
hi Mina! this was, once again, absolutely wonderful - I love love love this series of yours 💖 will we get THG part 2 someday...? (really amazing series that still is amazing) ... and since you've asked about it on instgram; aother series with fantastic food moments that I would love to see your interpretations of is Middle Earth! :))
