That is TRUE recyclying! You threw out the pick guard and the knobs and that is it. (For good reason.) Now that guitar is ready for another 50+ years of enjoyment. Nice job on the screws and all the metal parts. Amazing work!

Is very interesting than in 2006, the American Deluxe Strat bodies were made in Mexico. The little round holes in neck pocket and under pickguard are specific for the cnc in mexican Fender factory.

Gorgeous restoration - so happy that you decided to go back to its aged natural finish look... such lovely wood grain - always feel bad to see it covered up with paint - especially after all of what this one went thru... Great job !
