You definitely put a lot of work on this, but I am afraid to say that the paint job is still very amateur: no pore filler, no proper wet sanding until you get a rid of orange peel, etc. Keep progressing though!

If you use 600 grit wet-or-dry sand paper it will be smooth enough that when you buff it out there won't be any orange peel texture. The lack of a truss rod cover and no Les Paul designation on the headstock face kills me! It'll be easy enough to spot this guitar anywhere. At least most of this is Gibson fare. It's just too bad that someone had to practically destroy this guitar although I hate Gibson I do love watching restoration videos.

Great work but you always seem to skip the wet sanding the finish step before polishing. The guitar finish would look much better if you wet sanded before buffing

Nice job - the guitar looks splendid. There are a couple of things that could be improved. 1. The interface between neck and top - not great, can still see the white primer - you want to fix that. Also, I would have paid more attention to the grain filling - you would have got a better finish on the mahogany neck and back. Finally, could you not have finished it off with a nice truss rod cover? That said, it is a beautiful job.

That Gold color just makes the Guitar look Cheap, like a knock off. The only time Gold looks good on a Guitar is when it's the Hardware.

Putting that color crud on the mahogany??? Blech! Crap! The Hell NO! The mahogany looks great by itself under a good clearcoat. Satin would have been best especially for the neck. Won't feel sticky and like it is grabbing your hand.

Not having the truss rod cover on it aside, that Les Paul looks good. And it sounds beautiful, too. Good work on fixing it up!

Repair work fine it looks good, electrics and strings as always I suspect their quality, your guitar playing is just not my thing, and because I don't recognise anything you play, I can't compare how good it sounds.

Но тут к мастеру претензий нет: у них так принято (Типа, Зачем наводить красоту, если всё равно не видно). Вы не представляете, какой у меня был шок, когда мы открыли монтажную коробку Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (по моему, это она и есть в видео). Такой монтаж у нас называется "борода". ЗЫ. It had a body and a neck, not just a body... I do not understand why the tuner holes were plugged. That makes no sense at all. If you do not use the guitar, why bother doing that and if you use it you need these holes for the tuners. Also, the sides back and neck were already cleaned of lacker and color?

The strap buttons always bother me. Where are the felt pads? Also the alignment on the top, I'd rather have the hole covered up. That bothers me soo much. Other then that It was awesome
