Dude, great job on updating the graphics while still retaining the that ps1 vibe. Took me back to tropical summer afternoons just playing this game. Thank you!
It kinda blows my mind that Pepsiman has yet to see a remake or successor as a mobile title. Everything about the gameplay would translate perfectly to an "endless runner" type of game: short levels, relatively narrow paths, jumping over/sliding under obstacles, boost-jumping to clear large gaps, collecting items along the way--the blueprint is all here.
@@YahyaDanboos what is sad is , a lot of people in America and Europe would not have had a chance to play the original game including myself :( as it was a exclusive to Japan only game )
I feel nostalgic with the high graphics and high definition version of this game, I hope in the future you will continue to make games with your own ideas.

@@AutZentus Probably not. I think he was just over exaggerating because of how bad the game is, and how much of a nightmare it is to complete. Especially when the prize for it is just a wire frame reskin of Pepsiman.

It's so crazy to me that this game became a meme. It used to be like... a secret game for me. As far as I could tell it was like nobody knew about it but me and a couple friends back in the 2000s. Hell, technically not even we were even supposed to know about it, the game was meant to be only available in Japan. But I bought the game at a flea market back in 2004, and I vividly remember that was the same year when Pepsi X Energy Cola came out in Brazil and we thought that was the most badass thing in the world. Not only was it the most lowkey energy drink out there for a 10 year old to actually get (cause the cashier would legit not even notice it wasn't just... you know, Pepsi), it also had the letter X on it so it was even cooler. You know I sorta think Pepsiman being such a niche thing to know about during my childhood played a role in my taste for soft drinks, cause it was like an inside joke that grew into a fond memory, and to this very day I'd pick Pepsi over Coke, with the greatest of ease.
I relate to this a lot. Pepsiman looked like just a random obscure game that some people happened to have in a binder among their dozens of pirated PS1 discs.

Why cant the company Pepsi hire this man. Buy his game at least, put it in indie game section in consoles. Make this guy rich. make it available for all console.
