I was 11 yrs old when I was introduced to Prine. My family made fun of me. Greatest song writer of all time and thou Towns van zant was great as Steve Earle says , I will say John was the greatest song writer of all time and I will stand on Bob Dylan's coffee table and say so! Course who would listen to me. 🤣🤣
Great. John would be proud. His music about life has always been his best work. COVID took so much away from us including my precious son. I weep still for him.

I have a been a John Prine fan for years and like many people felt the sadness of his passing. I heard that this is the last song he ever recorded and of course he made a song that makes me miss him even more. RU-vid has this algorithm thing that suggests videos that they think the viewer will enjoy and I am always amazed at how many people have done a version of this song so I have made it my mission to watch every cover of this song that pops up. I think yours might be the best.

Splendid rendition dear sir. What a song John left us in his passing.Such a supreme body of work left over the years too. I got to know his music after his passing. I adore the man and his music.
