On point. Same thing happened to me and my dad when we were in Japan in 2012. Our plan was to go to Nagashimi Spa Land, spend the whole day there, catch a bullet train to Tokyo, arriving around 6pm and having fun exploring the place before heading for bed. Instead, because a typhoon hit hard, we left Nagashimi shortly after 12pm and, even riding the bullet train, didn't get to Tokyo til after 11pm. NOT a fun time

Ahh, the clear plastic umbrella. Brings back memories of Japan! The first umbrella I bought was a normal fabric type one like we get in the UK, but the rain was so heavy over there it actually forced its way through the fabric of the umbrella and you ended up wet anyway! Me and my brother were trapped in Hagibis in Hakone. Was pretty scary but the Japanese people went above and beyond to help us feel safe and look after us even when the power and water was out they still made sure we were okay. Will never forget that weekend! Playing table tennis for 8 hours straight was how we survived!

I realized that British people are perfect for documentaries like this. Cynical, sarcastic assholes who sip tea and think they are better than you are, while complaining about minor discomforts most people don't even notice. But they are doing it in a charming and entertaining way.

To be honest even though I like and subscribe to certain RU-vidrs after awhile I get bored of the content. But Chris always finds away to keep it new and fresh. I really appreciate that.
