I’ve been using laptops for years and I recently got an iPad too. Here’s what I learned: Tablets/ iPads can never replace your laptops The only things that tablets are good at are: Reading e-books and pdfs Browsing websites Drawing and sketching Other than these, iPads are way more portable and I carry them for just presenting after I create them on my laptop. I also play games here and there. Yeah, I love my iPad, but no, it can’t replace my laptop.
Well M series on iPad way to overkill processors so just get Xbox or PS pass and yeah can really play any console games smoothly but again it would come at price unlike in pc you can get crack version and …
As they are all good with similar features. I do think in general what technologies you would use doesn't really make a huge different between how you would use them. However advanced features of those technologies might make life easier for you. So, depending on what devices you would use daily is up to you. However, the iPad is definitely a game changer. So, I'll rate it 8.5/10
The media experience on the iPad Pros are just on another level. Probably this is the only VFM product from Apple. Wife gifted me the M2 version and its just so well built!
The ones you can play, you can play them better in it (consistent fps, lesser throttling, better battery)(when talking about Samsung S8 or above or iPads)
@@rrrr3666Like what? GTA V? Genshin Impact? Most of those games aren't as intensive as computer games like the new version of COD MW3. And also playing pc games with a touchscreen is too complex for most people
Can you try out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and give us a comparison overall when it comes to user experience? I’ve been an Apple guy for years now and for the first time a Samsung product has got into my interests!!
@@itsanonymooooseyeah, I'm using s9fe as well. The screen is perfect. A very good tab for writing and watching content. I think s9 ultra serves more functionality and features compared to s9fe.
@@itsanonymoooose but samsung dont have support for some pc productive apps like davinci resolve nd now industry used software like zbrush coming for ipad which is very huge thing very huge
Would love to see you replace a laptop with Samsung Tab S9..apps are not so optimized and many apps are not available like photoshop. But samsung internet browser is something to watch out for.
I've been rocking the Galaxy Tab S7 FE for a few years and use it as a companion device (with my iPad). Love DeX mode, and that you can have multiple apps running in floating windows (even outside DeX). My typical floating window layout is -- Outlook (personal e-mail), Firefox (web browsing), Samsung Email (work e-mail). I also appreciate the wireless DeX video out to our company televisions (Sony x1, RCA/Roku x2) - makes showing slide decks (or RDPing into something) dead easy. Yes, we are too cheap to purchase an Apple TV for iPad AirPlay (but can AirPlay to the RCA/Roku TVs, no problem). 😂
Actually, the softwares matters the most. You won't find a proper tool for anything meaningful. IPad has dedicated full-blown apps like FCP, and DaVinci Resolve to work with. The apps have limitations, but they are so well-optimized. Android has its own benefits and workarounds. But, it is what it is.
For most users yes iPad can’t replace laptops but for some users like me who have niche use case it can replace my laptop I do trading and my trading app is available on all platforms, my laptop is old and not so good so i do trading on my ipad and i play 2 games coc and codm both are phone games so they work great on ipad I can’t play cs2 but tbh I haven’t played it in a very long time, i just trade cs2 skins which i do on my phone (can’t do on ipad coz of iOS limitations) So yeah for my workflow ipad and my phone has replaced my laptop but my workflow is very niche
2:30 that's an 11 inch iPad Pro, it doesn't have an XDR display, its an IPS Lcd panel. The 1600 nits is for the 12.9 inch model which actually does have an XDR, and that's only at certain times on certain points of the screen during HDR. max full screen brightness is 1000 nits
The 11 inch iPad pro doesn't have a xdr display..... It only goes to 500 nits peak. I personally own a M2 iPad pro 11 inch and I can pretty confidently say based on the dimensions, the iPad in the video is a 11 inch one.
I use ipad (one is M1 the other is A15). I use the M1 as my primary computer with the help of the external display support which is awesome and I use the other one as a laptop.
I feel like if your question is, should I get a laptop or an iPad then you should get a laptop for sure. But I think this question is wrong in the first place. Do you ask the question Should I get a phone or a laptop? no right? That is because even though you can do some overlapping task between the two, both of them are fundamentally different. And I feel if you’re looking to use an iPad then you are looking for a very specific specific iPad like use case. If you see yourself using the Apple Pencil and you want to do digital art, study, do browsing, multimedia and that super portability factor is important, then the iPad is a better device than a MacBook. If you see yourself genuinely using the Apple Pencil in various things, the iPad gives you an experience like no other. Yes, even android tablets are (getting) good but I am focusing on iPad because it’s the topic of discussion in the video.
Low end laptops cost more than the mid range tablets.. so that's there.. for example for 35000 INR you can get an ipad 9th gen which is good for a tablet but for the same cost you can't get a good laptop... otherwise tablets and laptops have no comparison each have a different use case.. in most cases they supplement each other.
Very true. For tight budgets, you'll either get a so-so tablet or a terrible laptop. I guess you really need to know what you want it for to decide to either get a tablet or maybe a 2nd hand laptop.
Exactly bro i am middle class buyer having max budget of 30k i neither have good options in Laptops Like used ones or i3😂 or i can get Samsung realme tabs cause even an ipad 10th gen costs whooping 40k i just need a big screen for classes and occasional movies!
@@vaidikshukla2801 try an S7 FE (6 GB or 8GB versions, avoid the 4GB version like the plague) just beware that you'll likely receive a knock off stylus if you buy it refurbished
here using ipad air with m1 since it came out and it’s amazing at the time it’s was the only tablet i could have get as the offering from samsung was old so i it’s still performing like day one and it’s been around 2 years battery backup is also really good it’s like 6hrs SOT mostly playing games and watching youtube or netflix
Well give asus rog flow x16 or Microsoft surface studio laptop a try. They're very powerful laptops and are lightweight too with a dedicated GPU now that's something an ipad/Mac couldn't compare with lastly they're touch screen and few have brightness of peak 1100 nits even being a laptop. It's completely a killer. Every tech channel shall cover it. Well if do Cover it don't forget to compare their stock pencil it comes with, coz it's one of the main aspects. Apple pencil vs asus pen. Tap into this.
iPad and iPhones kaafi Non User friendly hai wo agar Productive way me dekha jaye ya in Normal usage bhi to. The cons of iOS/iPad OS. Very limited way of Multi-tasking. No back Gesture, Some apps like Instagram etc. are as usual like we find in Android. File management is poor. Apps settings are highly limited.
How to use ms word free on ipad? How to use export/import properly kruti 010 font document for editing ? I downloaded kruti fonts for pages, and created a document but when I exported it to windows, the fonts mismatched in size. That's frustrating, and I can't find a proper solution to it on internet.
I am an online tutor and a bit of sketcher as well. I was about to buy an iPad with all the pencil stuff. But was worried about it not being good as proper workstation thing. Then I went for Microsoft Surface Pro. And oh boy. For the half of the price, its a cool gadget. It is a good tablet which can be used as a full fledge laptop. Good display, good speakers and windows is just better than iPad OS. I am an iPhone user but still prefer Windows over iPad OS. In my opinion, iPad can be used as an additional device but just not the main device.
All the apps on your iPad are just trimmed down version of the desktop version so lots of functionality are missing!!! There's no storage expansion in an iPad you can store some large files in a pendrive or SSD!!! IPad is easy to carry and use but it can't replace a laptop or desktop!!!! 😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮.
I’ve never understood the concept of these VPN sponsorships. They say, you’ll get it as low as 149 per month. But that’s only if you pay for a 24 month full payment or 4171.
The problem i faced is screen size For multitasking it needs to have 14 inch and Making presentation was horrible experience as in laptop its easy to make as compared
iPad is still an oversized iPhone just just some additional apps and multitasking features included. It doesn't run apps like Anaconda etc or other non-App Store apps hence it's nowhere near a Mac or PC.
In my experience, the iPad is an excellent *companion* device. I use it to attend online meetings (great video! good sound!) and to consume media (video, books, etc). General computing is best left to a full-sized PC - Windows, MacOS, Linux...whatever works for you (I have a mix of all). FYI - I am a Systems Engineer and manage a fleet of Windows PCs/servers (via RDP, PowerShell) and some Linux machines (via SSH). Your mileage, based on your profession and how you use computers, will vary!
video streaming app experience is also not good. even if we have a 10 inch screen, we can watch only in a small screen size or we need to zoom the video. apps need to be optimized for tablet experience.
I have been using a mi pad 5 for the last 2 months for doing my office work. Have to say it's a much better experience. Better battery. No wore. Better screen and speaker. Equivalent apps and tools experience. Don't want to go back.
I have been saying this for years and apple tries so hard to not be, but tablet as a formfactor just does not work for productivity other than maybe drawing, and even then it is easier to use digital pad for PC. Tablet is meant for digital media consumption, not productivity and not work. Maybe all you do is use Office apps sure, but then again, Laptop that can handle it is much cheaper.
70k Yeah and add extra cost for 1. Keyboard, mouse 2. Pencil (optional) 3. Dongle 4. Tws (or use dongle) 5. Buy apps Add apple tax and you see it's much much cheaper to get windows pc
Student as in college student ? Well idk about medical college but here in engineering I'd always prefer spiral binded notebooks from classmates over any electronic display. I already sit behind a screen for over 10 hours a day , and I don't wanna add extra
@@Sailed_away I am talking about engineering only, writing on an iPad is a surreal experience also the fact that your entire bookshelf can basically fit into one thin A4 sized device is perfect! With the added benefit of portable gaming beast lol
@@LogicLegionnaire man , any laptop would outperform the iPad in gaming. Based on library of games alone. An iPad can play what ? Pobji mobile ? And ? Even a used 1660 ti can play almost all games released upto 2021 at 60 fps or higher with optimal settings
Yes good in pointing out some idiot says why apple iPhone don’t have split screen while us android has blah blab but it has no use its only use full in a computer
to replace a laptop of 70K here is the following list 1) bigger display:- ipad pro 12.9 (512Gb) minimum :- 142900 2) Magic Keyboard with track pad :- 33900 in this 180K Range you will get i9 with a RTX graphics card
as a fe developer , why are you trying to scoll in a non scrollable div on facebook? when you were scrolling on left did you notice that the right wasnt moving? what are you expecting ?

No OS can replace Windows 11 because Microsoft is a OS company and Apple is a Phone company who's main goal is to sell their products by first restricting users then trapping them in their product, well this is good for them to grow but sadly this won't last long 😂😂 , no chargers , 20W fast charging 🤣, restriction in OS etc.
I think you are using an ipad pro 11inch and its peak brightness in 600nits … its the 12.9 inch version with mini led having 1600nits with hdr content … i am sure you will go bonkers when you see that super retina xdr screen ….
As a programmer using ipad is straight no because there is no free coding solution sure I can use VM from the cloud but most of them are paid and that a deal breaker
