I'm a single mum , grew up in poverty with an abusive father but struggled to change my life and I thought I could do that by studying hard. I was the best at school and then university and now at 24 working as an employee in a bank. But I'm now realizing this is not where I want to be. I don't want to settle. I want to build big. My mother retired at an early age but not as early as you (she’s 35 when she retired) only to come out of retirement for the same reason. She was bored and living in the tropics isn’t as enjoying as she imagined. So, she put up another business, but this time, she isn’t as hands-on as before. I’m trying to model my life after her. I’m 22 right now and I’m working hard as an app developer while running a one-man creative solutions business on the side. People like you and my mother are big inspirations to keep me going. I’m looking forward to the future.

my great-uncle was a butcher during the era of communism in romania, and he was stealing meat from the butchery and selling it to people in the local area for extra money. after doin this for 20 (while he was 40) years and hiding his money under the bed, the communism finally fell. the first thing he did was to buy 4 apartments for extremely low price, and renting them and selling them later for higher price. fast forward 30 years, now he's 70 , going in vacations everytime because he's making 20k a month by renting 28 cabinets. the most important thing that he has done was that his wife didn't drain his money, and was a vet doctor. if you're a man , always try to choose a wife that doesn't spend all your money , and try to choose one that has the same amount of money or slightly higher, and most important make sure she loves you. good luck !

Hey Dan Lok; first I would like to say thank you for your videos and your compassion to show others how to go from poverty to wealth. I have been watching your videos for tonight and these videos remind me of something that everybody is missing. Your tips; concepts and everything is great just superb. But there are things you said that I myself have been contemplating. 1) 99 percent of people will still stay poor 2) you are compassionate enough to try and guide someone to being a multi millionare and 3) This is not something that is simple its very complex; to get rich quick and have what you have takes like ive been saying on your videos the perserverance for somebody to notice you and say hey this isnt just a regular guy and its the mentor 3) However many people dont know how much discipline it takes to hold on to the ideas the concepts; how to finally close a deal in business thats worth a ton of money and handle it easily. THATS what your looking for or trying to show us. The difference between me and somebody else who watched your channel is maybe myself understands how much effort and also how much responsibility you handle. Since I am young and have investments I want to become rich like you obviously lol! I dont want to rely on anyone for money! And you found that way. The person has to come to someone who resonates with them and say you have proven your worth we can now talk. This isnt about a masterclass. This is about something bigger being invited too gatherings where you hang around people who are motivated like yourself. The key thing i think you always tell people underneath everything is discipline. You cannot fear failure; wake up every morning and go to bed and get a good sleep so when that deal comes and you need to sell yourself your prepared. This is something that cannot be taught in business school. It comes from someone who says I have been poor and ive been relatively wealthy but im ready to step into this new world. And thank you Dan for being humble. You ride in a car that makes people nervous yet you remain calm and say; im doing this with inner poise and calm; im not taken by the glamour. This is how you lose wealth; when someone does not understand the real value of a single dollar. On one single dollar in a big business deal is a ton of money. Not alot of people would be poised and calm and know the research on what there selling etc. The reason I keep driving this home is because I believe so many people are not ready for the type of wealth you have. It takes time and patience too. Its simply called discipline in all areas of your life. The funny thing is; you end the youtube video and everyone is is lost. Your rich. So thank you for helping us find a way. Some wont quit until they get there. And im not about to spend 40 thousand dollars on a business degree when i could read the books you recommended study them and put them to use easily. When I already have money. Keep inspiring people. I think Dan is a very professional and inspirational person. The only thing for me that is "hard to chew" is when succesfull people look back and retell their sucesstory. And points to specific things they did wich led them to success. Like they planned everything out in advance and "if you just follow their advise, you could also find success". There are millions and millions of people/ entrepreneurs that work intensly hard with their idéas but never acchive any kind of sucess. It´s not there fault that they didn´t succed because they did but in their money and the sweat equity. It just didn´t work out for them. Which could be a result of a million different factors, sometimes out of their control. For instans, right now Covid-19 ends a lot of entrepreneurs dreams. And this was a factor noone saw coming. So I think we all should be humble for the fact that success is never garantueed. It´s a result of har work, great thinking and a bit of luck and the right timing. Otherwise great inspiration.

Dan I couldn’t relate any better. Your great! When I came from Mexico at age of one and now I’m 22 with a car detailing business that makes over 180k a year and I’m only 22! I got no friends just ambition! Hopefully I can motivate people too with my videos.
