But my God when you get a king-high board, you have acquired your target. Look, you're decloaked at this point - you flatted a 4bet. Just (as you said) bet bet bet and get stacks in. Letting Alvin realize his equity like that for cheap 🤯. You're not playing Mariano stakes thank God, but you're well out of the kiddie pool and the tough players will penalize your mistakes hard. I think your 9c8c hand in the Straddle would have worked better as a 3-bet against the SB’s range of a 2-bet over a limp. It also is a nice play because of the dead money in the middle. In this case, Seinfeld likely would have folded his ATo preflop - and if not, perhaps would have folded to a flop-turn double barrel.

I think in game its hard to say about the QQ but i think trying to talk to the players and figure out who the person was can make a huge difference. Business man, millionaire just habing fun and dowsnt know ranges at all. If thatd the case i think you have more combos than you think. But in game what you told us, its a good fold.

one of my favorite hands is T/7 suited spades for some reason. and then a hand that looks absolutely horrendous J/4 s or J/4 off i've had tremendous luck with both for some reason. with that said, i think i've won pocket 5's less than i can count on ONE hand out of several hundreds of thousands of hands... at this point if i see pocket 5s, if no one raises pre-flop i just let it play out. if it doesn't get too high i'll play it out just to show people i lose 99.67% of the time.

I dont think there is any value in 3 betting pocket 2s. Your have no show down value so you dont really want to flip your hand on the river. By 3 betting there you are basically flipping a coin (maybe worse odds) for money.

bro totally butchered the postflop with aces. You just call preflop to keep your players in so you can continue to get value. There's 4000 in the main pot, bet 800 or something at least on the flop. You're just giving him free cards and you let him get the $300 block bet through too with 20% equity. Too much equity, fuck that you gotta raise the pot is too big.
