Shahid is the Man!!! Love the video format; shout out to your editor Lucas! Telling the story of your journey, through the video content, is much more powerful than just showing hand histories. Thank you for your time, effort, entertainment, & education over the last 3.5647 years! Cheers!
Great video. Happy for your success. You have grown tremendously as both a content creator and poker player over the two years I’ve watched you. Great stuff, Wolfgang.
Gotta say dude. When I started following you a few years ago I never in a million years imagined you’d be playing high stakes against poker legends and vlogging legends like Neeme and Polk. You had I think 200 subs and I recall you being pumped about it. If my memory was right you were kinda struggling at $1/$2 and I don’t think $2/$5 was even a twinkle in your eye. I immediately liked your Vlog style and your Mid West demeanor (you are from the mid west right?). Anyway, just wanted to say congrats on everything. It’s great to see good guys make it.
That last hand….AJ diamonds….idk. I would’ve bet for chunky value on the river. Like you said, if Warren has a missed draw, he’s folding anyways. Warren seemed strong to me, even before we see him show the King in his hand. I agree, the check-raise is great when Warren has KJ, J10, or a bluff. I would’ve bet there myself, get value from two pair combos
In the last hand i don't check because im blocking bluffs with Ax diamond and block straight so he doesn't has bluff to bet river but has good hand to call river if you bet, probably K10 if you bet 40 or 50% of pot he calls
Wolfgang I really like how you play but that last hand I think with the 4card coming in Warren is forced to check back if he doesn't have a jack. Sure J's are in his calling range, but it's a great bluff card for you too. There are a ton of missed flush draws in your range and the river puts him in a tough spot. I think you have to bet with an over bet to look like a bluff or a 50-60% pot bet to look like value. Keep up the vlogs!
i mean flipping over the 4 of hearts you basically gave away your hand 4 5 suited is like the only hand you will be rasing the turn with dont know how that guy called you lmao
The check on the river in the last hand is terrible. You might have 1 person at the table with the balls to bet 2 pair at a 1/3 game. 1/3 players are checking back every time with a 1 liner to a straight
When you have the nuts you bet don't check in the last hand. If he folds you had a chance to gain, by checking wishing he raises is not realistic. As you saw he checked back with a pair of kings. You win betting but still win if he folds. Think about it.
I don't think it's so cut and dry. With effective nut hands, there's obviously the EV+ play of raising when whatever will call will lose to you. However, if you truly think the river gives your opponent the opportunity to bluff when they'd fold to a bet, it could be EV+ to allow for that opportunity.
Anyone notice that wolfgang is using subscriber bots. He currently has the same amount of subs as rampage? Two days ago he has 180k now he has 240... his vids also get 100-200k less views than rampage. Very fishy.
it’s almost like i have a viral short that has 42,000,000+ views and am currently amassing 15,000,000+ views a DAY across my entire channel. but yeah i’m probably using a bot 🤣
"John disappears like a thief in the night" "that is the least interesting part of this hand" "this is th beatiful river we hoped ad dreamed to see" "However, that being said...." And a question, why are the players always looking back at their cards? Do they not know their hand?
Wolfgang the check on the last hand was bad. Villian was not on a missed diamond draw you are. You need to bet like you missed your diamond draw or have the straight and get called by a weaker straight or two pair hands. Since you hold all the diamonds Villian is going to likely check back any pairs the only type of hand villian could have bet was if he contained a J but you had a J so less likely
only hand that bets the river on the last hand is a jack. no point in anything else betting so sizing up getting paid by a jack should of been the move incase he had one. Everything else just checks back or folds to your bet regardless
***ATTENTION WOLFGANG*** There are very few losing sessions in your vlog. You never say how long the sessions are. You seem to make an awful lot of BIG hands and catch pocket AA & KK more than any other RU-vid poker vlogger. You make more big hands on a few blogs than I make in a month (about 50 hours). How often do you play and how long are your sessions? How many session do you play a month that are not vlogged? You seem to have a 90% win rate or more. If that s true you are one of the best poker players in the world. Post your win-loss record for the year and your profit for them - and a graph or two. I just don't believe you win as often as this vlog depicts. Prove it with legit records.
