I have an Ocean Extreme pre-ordered, also have the Pear reserved. I reserved an Aptera EV for $100 but not sure if I'd want to drive it. I'll decide when they go into production but it might do okay on Turo. Other hosts seem to do okay with other 3 wheeled autocycles
Not sure how an Aptera would do on Turo unless I was in a super EV heavy area. But have you seen the Daymak Spiritus? IF they produce that vehicle near That price point it would do really well. Much closer to a Polaris Slingshot but with a Roof for rain & limited maintenance.
Nice! I decides to pay up for the Ultra for the extra range & AWD, but I can't argue with the Sport at that price point. I also thought having the Ultra might allow me to get it in 2023 but there is no promises on that.
Henrik responded to a comment I made about the Pear price being around $30k, he insisted the price isn't $30k, but that Fisker has only stated it's UNDER $30k, and that the car will be priced to properly compete with the Chevy Bolt EUV, Equinox etc, so $29,999 is worst case scenario if you lock in now.
Yes, he has been pretty consistent on a $29,995 starting price before tax incentives. He also commits to a locked in price for early reservations, after a certain amount of reservations, the price will definitely go up. The car is being built to be unique, but very cost sensitive.
@@andrewhamilton2078 What I'm saying is that Fisker hasn't committed to any price for the Pear, just that it'll be under $30k. It could be $25k is the type of argument that Henrik was making.
