The "Emotional Damage" segment gave me flash backs of the 2022 tiktok FYP. Let me know if you're enjoying the IRL content! #Comiccon #stevenhe #emotionaldamage Instagram: / thestevenhe reddit: / stevenhe
The consistency of your line is impeccable Steven. Emotional damage shall be remembered throughout RU-vid, TikTok, and just memes in general. You are an inspiration
10:51 those words hit me so hard and it got me to tears... Being told that I'm a failure my whole life really gave a huge impact in the word "failure" and developed severe mental illnesses. It's been so long since I've heard something that's helpful and I sincerely appreciate what you've done to society and gave me smiles when I'm at my lowest. Thanks Steven ❤️
I love this!! My son (Midoriya cosplay) and I were #26 of emotional damage! Stephen is such a bro and extremely kind. I can’t wait to see him continuing elevating in life!!
There's so much denial in creators, because just the mindset we had as kids, those of us that were and are this age, but the truth is a lot of you youtubers are as big of stars to those of use millennials and younger that you're just as a big as Dwayne the rock Johnson and other big time Hollywood stars. You really are, and we will continue to support you. Because the truth is, you're so much more. You're creators, actors, writers, editors, and everything else. The amount of talent you and this generation shows is absolutely insane. Yes it's entertainment, but it goes to show how much all of you can do with such limited resources, personnel and otherwise compared to back in the day huge casts and crews. I know technology advancements have helped but the willpower and genius is also off the charts. This generation is incredible, and people like you show why. You show just how much we can do.
That is the kindest message. Thank you man. KSI was the first person to show me that anyone can become a successful filmmaker without money, network, skills... I'm so glad I can do my best to spread that inspiration
@@aneeshramakrishnan1958: One year later and it's still at 69 Likes. On the one hand: Nice. On the other: Not even *one* more Like in a year? EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
@@megan_l_yt Eh, you're underestimating yourself. Of course, Steven is the star of the show, but you - and by extension most editors - don't get enough credit.
I Flipping knew that was you at our booth! I told my coworkers and they were like, "naw, doesn't look anything like him". Totally missed my chance to tell you how much joy your videos have brought to my life. And a pic with you would have had the students in my class freaking out. Dang! Now I'm feeling...emotional damage.
It seems like Steven really appreciates his fans and does not get bothered at all saying his most popular lines and signing autographs or taking pictures. Just a really wholesome guy who deserves our support. Keep it up Steven! Failure for life!
The fact that the production company is called Emotional Damage is hilarious. Which means it’s something we’ll see on the opening credits of the movie. Just like Adam Sandler has Happy Gilmore productions, we’re getting Steven He’s Emotional Damage Productions. I believe this will become the new wave of movie types.
I love how you flipped from "I'm having a good time, going to hype some people for the panel" to complete and utter enjoyment as soon as the panel started. You could literally see the excitement from your eyes, especially when the entire room joined you on Emotional Damage! Me and some friends usually try to cram in an "Emotional Damage" wherever we can, I even have some as audioclips on my GoXLR which I actually need to use more. You made something memorable and also relatable :D
Hello Megan... You did amazing editing those small jokes every now and then and I loved every part of it... Steven's natural humour and your spontaneous editing is what makes these videos total success... Love you both ❤️
I was at Comic con unfortunately had to leave early so I couldn’t get a photo but the climax was incredible seeing a RU-vidr I admired there and that person is none other than EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
I love how Steven('s dad) has become such an iconic and instantly recognizeable character xD Also the editing at 2:24 is absolute gold!! And props to the guy for asking that question that allowed Steven to make the announcement!
My gosh I was so stickler about making all those “emotional damage” clips fit the music 😂 I’m a musician of 12 years, so of course I had to do that (And yes, I’m very grateful for my paychecks)
5:45 can confirm, I have gone to some weird panels to get good seats for the one I wanted to see. Would 100% sit through any of the weirdest ones again for emotional damage... the good kind though not the emotional damage I have gotten from at least one of those I have sat through.
In light of Steven's monologue. When I was in O-Levels we were due to have these Head Girl elections. And I was a very popular senior, a very bright student with all As and I had lots of extra-curriculars under my belt. In short, I had all the makings of a perfect candidate. So, whenever I met a junior or a senior I always tried to have like a little chat you know, all the time I was doing these things to make a good reputation and everything , increase my votes and all. In the end, near the elections, the candidates were announced and I wasn't one of them. I was brokenhearted. I swear I did not expect this. And one of the girls who were chosen was not even a very popular student. (Btw she did excellent campaigning and won) And ironically, she knew me and I knew her but she heard about how upset I was. She actually came to meet me and told me to keep my chin up and never let this failure hold me back. This was before she had won. I went on to achieve other milestones in my life after that failyuh. These kinds of experiences teach people humility. Btw (and I am sure you are super invested in my story) I found out I wasn't chosen as the candidate because I had misbehaved with the Principal of my school. And as an Asian you know, we can't do that. The girl I am talking about was well-behaved and she didn't have the academics or extra -curriculars to match mine. This was a reality check
Steven is just so wholesome! Of course people would want to see you! You rock! 💜 Especially saying "Emotional damage!" so much before a panel! Your genuinely kind and well intentioned advice made me smile on a tough day teaching. Seeing your genuine reaction to the love of your fans is just heartwarming. 💜 And Megan, great job for the vlog and the edit and how into it you are! 💜
it's honestly so heartwarming seeing him progress so much. i remember a around a year or more ago, i saw this random asian guy's video and decided to watch. i enjoyed it, and watched all his other videos and fell in love with his content. he had around 50k subs then i think. either way, great to see him getting popular. 🖤🖤
You are so awesome to spend that long with fans, playing the same part and repeating that line over and over, and still keeping your friendly demeanor. Bravo! And congratulations, and all the best of luck on what I am sure will be an amazingly ginormous show. ;) Truly... you are an inspiration.
I like the way way Steven says his Emotional Damage. So consistent haha same tone everytime haha. Iconic. If I could travel to the US, I would have definitely be at your panel.
im Ginormos Hyped (u know? like gigantic + enormous... yeah, well...) One of the episodes/chapters has to be named "Emotional Damage" for a plottwist or a separation in the story.
This gave me so much emotional damage by it's wholesomeness! It was great to see a glimpse of what happened in that panel for those that couldn't be there. Thanks everyone for all your hard work! You all brighten our days. I'm sure the upcoming series will be Ginormous!
I remember when your main channel had less than 200k subscribers.... You've done a great job providing interesting and original content. 🎉 to you, Steven.
“Failure is not a road block but is the road to success” 🥲@10:49 - Steven He paraphrased 2022 For all the cringe, awkward moments, laughter, & joy every now & then Steven drops a wisdom nugget worth more than all his subscribers’ weight in gold. Well said Steven, wishing you success 👍
The editor notes are just the best man. This is like when a failure has a failure editor the effect is just omg go on man can't wait for more failure you have stored for us 👍👍👍(note: failure in Steven's way not like the actual meaning thanks)
You're such a funny and humble guy, Steven! I love your content! One of the things I thought was so cool in this video was how you maintained the same energy each time you said "emotional damage!" for your fans. Stay awesome!
It is SO touching to see all of you so positively inspired to create! 🙏 Thank you for all the work ALL of you put into these videos and what I know you'll put into every project you involve yourselves in💙 Cheers fam 🍻 Давай!
Agree 1000% with all the praise in the comments - including shout-outs to Megan! Brilliant! Wish I had been there - how could you not know that our room would be full? No surprise to me! I was yelling "Emotional damage" here in front of my computer, right along with the crowd.🤣 Looking forward to "Ginormo" (& hoping at least little bits of it will be posted to all of your YT channels, in addition to IG). It's gonna be so successful, you'll have to change the name of your company🤩
Steven, I don't know how to express this into words but I'm so glad I found your channel. It really made me feel sad when you said that you weren't sure whether anyone would show up because you're really amazing and I can see that you've put so much effort into each skit and video. You're just amazing, okay? Please don't forget that. Shout out to Megan, too, for such an awesome edit :)
11:06 dude shut up Steven. You're gonna make me cry. Found your channel at around 80k. Keep up the awesome stuff, just followed the Instagram account. I can't wait to see it!
Congrats on your successful panel at Comic-Con! And good luck on your new project! You've been working hard, and it's paying off. Failure Management is becoming a big success!
At this point emotional damage becomes one of those words that you don't really think what it means anymore when you say it, but you know what it means.
I would love if my paycheck said "Failure Management Productions" on it. Just so I can watch a confused bank teller try t figure out if this moment is real or some kind of prank.
I get... twitchy? ... in crowds, so this is as close as I will ever get to an event like Comicon. Congrats Steven, will be watching for your future projects!
This is amazing!!! I can’t wait for Ginormo!!! Also is that the camera man… girl? XD that caught me off guard😆😆😆didn’t know the camera man could break the 4th wall😆😆😆😆
